Wonderful apartment so close to the water!

Great visit Aviano, Italy
Review Submitted: March 30, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
This apartment was perfect!! My husband, 1-year-old son, and I stayed for a week and we wished we had booked for longer. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and has every amenity. It is just a block to the Promenade and a delightful stroll into old town and parks. It is surrounded by wonderful places to eat too. Great jumping off place for exploring all of Nice and surrounding area. The owners are very helpful, responsive, and sweet. We were nervous about paying ahead of time, but it worked out just fine. The owners are straight forward and honest. It was a pleasure working with them. We drove our own car and didn't have trouble with parking.

Perfect getaway in Nice

Review Submitted: July 7, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
This apartment has all that you need for a great holiday. It's comfortable, clean and very well maintained. It's in a great location, situated close to the Promenade and beach and only a short distance from the Old Town which makes it perfect for anyone without a car.

We found everything to be just as described regarding facilities and location and Richard, the owner, provided a great deal of useful information for our stay and was very helpful. There is a super bakery just across the street and supermarkets (Intermarche & Casino) are only a short walk away. It's worth walking the 10mins to the Old Town for something to eat as the choice of restaurants is huge.We particularly like La Voglia - very popular & good value! Some of the places can be a little expensive however

The apartment is well located for the Bus Station too.Take a trip on the bus to Eze (20min) and St.Paul de Vence (40min).Beautiful places well worth visiting. Also worth doing is the little train to Entreveaux - another beautiful location, although the day we went we had torrential rain.Check the train times as they don't run that often!

I'd have no hesitation in recommending the apartment for anyone wanting a pleasant getaway in Nice!

10 Days in Nice...nice

Marybob Abbotsford, B.C., Canada
Review Submitted: May 11, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
We found the apartment with help from Margereta. Great location, could be loud at night, but the new windows cut out any noise nicely. The bathroom is clean and modern, kitchen small and perfect. Laundry a Godsend. Beds comfy and closet space adequet. The tv watching area was a bit cramped, but the bonus of the DVD movies in English were great. We watched a couple each night. Nice to read about other guests and their journeys and additions to the appartment. Will request a date again I expect. Cheers. Canada

Owner's Response: Wow! Another 5 out of 5 review. Thanks, as we work hard to get things right. The apartment is well situated for good access and close to all the French nicoise culture. This is in a quieter location than most other apartments, and many others do-not have the benefit of double glazed windows to reduce the French background sounds of culture, when required.

Our Anniversary Holiday in Nice.

Review Submitted: March 20, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
For our 9th Anniversary we treated ourselves to 4 nights in Nice, we love the South of France and have been several times but never to this particular city. We were really impressed with the appartment. It was immaculate and really well equipped with everything you could need as base . The location is fabulous, just 3 minutes from the Promenade Des Anglais and with great shops and restaurants on the doorstep. The owner was really helpful and even arranged for flowers to greet us .The whole booking process was easy and efficient . We are already talking about our next trip!

Our experience in Nice..

Review Submitted: June 2, 2008 Date of Stay: December 2007
We are a couple with a little child who - at the time of our staying - was only 4 months old.We had a very pleasant holiday,we found everything perfect there, exactly as it was described on the website. The apartment is just in the center of the town,in few minutes you can reach on foot all the shops, restaurants and cafés of the city. Also the wonderful Promenade des Anglais is just close to the flat.We found very helpful, with a child,to know that the pharmacy was just downstairs!!The kitchen is very well furnished, with all the accessories and instructions sheets.Bathroom is big and wonderful!Only the towel heater was unfortunately not working..Everything was so clean! We'd mainly recommend this apartment to couples or to families with little children.Richard and Pamela are fantastic owners, very helpful and kind, precise and honest.Hope to come back soon!!!!

'Great apartment in Great Location'

Rathmore Northern Ireland
Review Submitted: May 11, 2008 Date of Stay: April 2008
My wife and I had an excellent long weekend in April staying at this property.

The property is located in a great location, very close to a range of restaurants. There are also a couple of very well stocked supermarkets around 5 minutes away, and it is only a two minute walk to the beach.

The owners provide a comprehensive information pack full of ideas and places to visit in Nice and beyond. We choose to visit the medival village of St Paul which is around an hour away using public transport and had a great day. Public transport is good value and worth using if you want to explore.

My thanks to the owners for all their help and support with booking this apartment - we hope to return sooner than later.

our great adventure

Provenceforme Chicago, IL, USA
Review Submitted: May 11, 2008 Date of Stay: January 2008
The apartment is in the best strategic location in Nice. Everything that we looked for was right at hand. The beach just a block away, the pedestrian mall just two blocks, a few minutes walking to cultural events, the carnival, the very center of town, restaurants, supermarkets, close to the main train station and the central bus station.

Richard, the apartment owner, is most responsive and very amicable. And, he made sure that everything was kept in fine working order.

We are a retired couple and we spent the winter months in Nice. In the evenings when it was cool outside, we could make ourselves very comfortable by turning on the heat. We enjoyed opening the windows in the mornings, letting the fresh air in, and watching the birds while we had breakfast.

We love Nice and Provence, and come back often. This is our first time that we spent 3 months there and it was a new experience. The apartment is cozy but not equiped for very long stays. However, for shorter stays we will be glad to return there.

Owner's Response: Thank-you so much for the great reviews guys! We are making changes to accomodate longer stays of over 3 months etc. It was a treat having you as our guests all the way from the USA! Richard and Pamela x
