Kelemen and Kefecz apartments

We (my husband and I ) stayed in this beautiful apartment. It by far exceeded our expectations. It was to the highest standards, and was veryyyy clean. There was nothing missing, there was even a little store directly across the street. We walked to everything from this location, and if you didn't want to walk to tram was very close. I have stayed in many apartments across Europe and this one was the best one I have stayed in for its high standard. We were able to shop in the local markets, bring home our fresh produce and meats and make a wonderful meal. It was very warm in Budapest when we were there but the apartment always remained cool. There was some very good restaurants in the area which we walked to. We took in a music concert and a cruise down the Danube which was very well done and we left the brochure for future residence as it was well run. We would recommend this property to my closest friends as I know they would not be disappointed. This was a 20th anniversary holiday for us and was perfect.

Cool, comfortable but no living/family room

Spotlessly clean, and a nice cool apartment to come back to after sightseeing in the heat of the summer. 3 bedrooms, each with a TV, but strangely no seats or sofas where the family can sit down together. Also, no dining table, so when we decided to eat in one evening we had to lay the food out on the desk in one of the bedrooms and help ourselves, whilst sitting on the bed! A bit awkward if intending to stay more than a few days. Nicely decorated, plenty of equipment (glasses, cutlery, dishwasher etc). Would benefit greatly from a washing machine though and the street where it's situated looks a bit grim, with lots of graffiti and a topless bar on the corner, though there seem to be a lot of these in Budapest and it was no problem - just looks a bit seedy. All in all, enjoyed our stay but wouldn't return.

Appartment in Budapest

Claire and Franc Bielefeld, Germany
Review Submitted: March 25, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
Although I wouldn't describe this appartment as 'luxury' it was certainly centrally located, spotlessly clean and had the loveliest lady who was on hand to help out with cleaning, dishes, calling taxis etc. The owner telephoned us on arrival and we felt this was an important and pleasant touch; we were able to ask questions about the location of supermarkets, attractions etc. This appartment is ideal for a young family such as ours; it is much better value than a hotel, far more spacious and allows you to eat what you like and when you feel like it. The children enjoyed staying here (there were three TVs, a big corner bath and plenty of space) and I would recommend this accomodation to a friend. We regularly travel with our three children (all under five) and would use this accomodation if we were to travel to Budapest again.

This is the second time we have used this apartment and we have found it to be excellent on both occassions. Clean, smart, very hospitable hosts and all mod cons. I would highly recommend it.

Budapest Family Holiday

Review Submitted: December 6, 2008 Date of Stay: March 2008
Being a family of 5 (3 x Children 15, 10 & 5) my wife and I were keen to book something close to the city centre and local attractions.

In short, the Kelemen & Kefecz Luxury Apatments, were exactly as described on their web page. From the moment we arrived we felt extremely welcome, comfortable and relaxed. The apartment was spotless and close to a great selection of museum's, spa's, bars and restaurants.

With this in mind, we would certainly recommend the apartment to anybody looking to get straight into their holiday, with the minimum of fuss.

we used this appartment as our abse for site seeing and the formula 1 the apartment is very clean well kept and in a great location just off terez uct(street) which is the heart of town. Plenty of eating places bars and transport. Contact between myself and ferenc was very good and he is very helpful person. I would 100% stay there again and fully enjoyed my time in this beautiful city. Thanks for a great weekend. Tony Clark .UK
