What a lovely Cottage in a beautiful part of France. We have had a wonderful week and Lynn & Ken provided a very warm welcome. You have done wonders with this place and it has been a perfect place for us to spend our honeymoon. We definitely recommend a trip to Brantome and also to ile de Re off La Rocelle. We will definitely be back, thank you!!

We all had a Great time staying in your lovely house, it makes a big difference when the accommodation is as good as yours and the welcome pack was a nice surprise after our drive down to you.

The two lads (3 1/2 and 2 years old) had a super time and are still talking about Muppet the dog, Lillie the cat, feeding the Chickens, the cool Pool (as Luke calls it), swings and all the day trips we had. The Local Lakes have two nice beaches with Resturants right beside them.

It was great to come back to your house in the evenings after a day out and chill out with a few drinks or a walk around the quite countryside or have a dip in the pool. Thanks also for helping with Margaret’s flight booking.

Thanks again for making our Holiday a special one and we would have no hesitation in recommending you to any friends or family thinking of holidaying in France.

This is our second holiday with Ken and Lynne; the perfect hosts. The gite is fully equipped, comfortable and has all the small details taken care of. The description in this website doesn't do the place justice. The plunge pool was in use in late May by our 6 year-old.

The gite is well placed for touring the area, and having flown into Limoges airport this time, we were amazed at how swift the whole process of getting on with our holiday was. Wheels touching down, to driving out of the car rental car park was 16 minutes - and we had baggage in the hold too, not just hand baggage.

Chasseneuil has everything you need from fabulous boulangeries and butchers to small, but well stocked, supermarkets.

Take our advice and book this place up! A great holiday awaits. We'll definitely be back.

It was great to stay a few days in this lovely cottage with tasteful decoration (it would deserve an article in a magazine). It was also a pleasure to meet the cottage's welcoming owners : Lynn and Ken. HIghly recommended !!

We have enjoyed our stay in the Charente and would like to thank Lynn & Ken for providing such a comfortable gite. We also appreciated all the goodies left for us. Look forward to returning again.

We loved this pretty gite, which has been carefully refurbished to provide very comfortable holiday accommodation.

The garden is private and sunny and visitors include a red squirrel and humming bird hawk moths. The location is very quiet and peaceful, and mercifully free of 'urban surf'.

Our boys aged 15, 12 and 5 loved the pool and the freedom to play in the adjoining field. We enjoyed a trip to the lakes in the Haute Charente (swimming and pedalos), canoeing on the Charente and visiting the local chateaux. There is a lot of history in the area which added a whole new dimension to our holiday and our knowledge of the Resistance.

We are very grateful to Lyn and Ken, their warm welcome made this a very special holiday and we hope to return.

We had a lovely relaxing week, enjoying all the great facilities and especially the pool. Everything that you could possibly want was there, including a welcome pack, which was indeed 'welcome' after a long journey!

Ken and Lynne were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to be most helpful, even posting back our daughter's teddy that got missed in the packing!
