A nice holiday place

Review Submitted: June 1, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
We spent a really nice holiday in Capistrano. The appartement is very clean and stylish furnished. The view from the big terrace is huge, seaside and mountains. You live very calm there, though you only need 10 minutesby car to be in the middle of the beautifull little town with lots of spanish athmosphere. The contact to the owner was very good. Questions are answered fast.
Nerja is good situated near the autostrada, so you can travel around easily.
Owner's Response: Definitely a place to relax.

Late Sunshine Break

Review Submitted: September 27, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
We enjoyed a very relaxing break in San Juan de Capistrano.

Very good apartment, well furnished and well equipped.
Most afternoons spent lazing on the terrace enjoying the sun.
Stunning views especially on warm clear eveningd with a bottle of beer.

Plenty to see and do and lots of good places to eat in Nerja. Can recommend the lunchtime paella on Burriana Beach -still only 6 euros
Owner's Response: Great!

A Winter Break

C + C Cork, Ireland
Review Submitted: March 3, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
We stayed in this apartment in February 2009 and had a very enjoyable time. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, good comfortable beds, TV and a nice selection of books. The owner has provided a guest book containing lots of useful information on where to shop, places to visit, what to see and where to eat. There is a huge terrace with breathtaking sea views. The surrounding area is very well maintained and full of beautiful flowers and trees. Nerja is a beautiful old Spanish town full of character with narrow streets, nice restaurants and shops, and lovely beaches.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment and would recommend it to anyone intending to visit the Nerja area.
Owner's Response: We really try to make renters feel that this a home rather than a rented flat; it is our holiday home after all.

Noêl à Nerja

Les Normands Normandie, France
Review Submitted: January 19, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
Owner's Response: Merci!

Translation: Imagine a white apartment in a complex surrounded by white flowers. And a large sunny terrace even in December with a view of the sea. There are even some basic foods in the cupboards, a nice welcome that saves a bit of shopping. A 15-20 minutes walk into town or take the bus that runs every hour. But just spend a re-invigorating week. Us Normans loved it.

Owner's Response: Thanks Catherine - translation "Bright and spacious apartment, beautifully furnished and well maintained offering very comfortable living space. It benefits from a large terrace with panoramic view. An ideal spot to spend a sunny holiday. A place you will keep coming back to and recommend to friends."

A lovely holiday in a lovely apartment

Helen, Shaz + Mand Dublin, Ireland
Review Submitted: July 9, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
We had a lovely stay here at this apartment. The terrace is very large - with lots of space and 4 sun loungers, table, chairs etc. Views from the terrace were excellent and we spent most evenings sitting on the terrace watching the sunsets. It was great to be able to use what the previous people had left in the cupboards and the selection of books was good too. Having a car would be a good idea as the hills up to the apartment are rather steep. It is only a 5 minute walk to the communal pool within the development which was an excellent size and has a couple of poolside cafes. San Juan Capistrano is a very well-kept village, with lots of lovely flowering shrubs throughout. One of our party will most likely come back next year with her parents as it is a lovely apartment in a lovely quiet development. I would recommend it.
Owner's Response: Thanks. Agree a car is a good idea, it's an uphill walk back from town (or take the local bus) but once at our apartment it's easy walking to the pool, bars and shop as we are on a fairly level part of San Juan.

Absolute Relaxation.

From start to finish this was a beautiful experience.
David and Ann were on hand with lots of help and local information. The area that the property was in was in an amazing area. The view was spectacular, and the property had the largest "balcony" ever!!! I could have lived here for ever,It had everything you needed close to hand. A nice touch was that the cupboards were stocked and you could help yourselves.A car is recommended,as You are at the top of a very steep hill. It is a pleasent walk down into the town or to the beach but its hard on the calves to get back. The developement the property is in is also beautiful-think Spanish peublo with a pool, shops and resteraunts. As you can probably tell, We loved our holiday at this property and cant wat to return.

Our Stay at San Juan de Capistrano

** South Wales
Review Submitted: February 18, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2007
"My wife and I have been returning to the apartment each summer for several years, why ?, because it suits our needs perfectly.
The airy lounge and main bedroom open onto the large sun terrace which has spectacular views over the town and countryside to the sea.
Sunsets from the terrace over the surrounding mountains provide a spectacular backdrop to a day spent sightseeing, shopping or simply relaxing.
Ample patio furniture is provided - loungers, dining table and chairs, and a sun awning for those hot days.
The apartment's tranquil location is excellent, surrounded by white washed villas / apartments and aromatic flowers, typical of the Andalucian region.
A short stroll away is a complex providing a large swimming pool, cafe's, restaurants, a shop, and a bus stop for journeys into the town.
In our opinion, a perfect place to relax, unwind and have an excellent holiday."
Owner's Response: Thanks, glad you have such happy holidays here - we feel it is the perfect apartment to enjoy the lovely suroundings and amenities.

We have enjoyed all our stays at this excellent apartment. In addition to the described features, it is a great base for hill walking in the adjacent National Park and there is an eclectic range of books to choose a holiday read from.
Owner's Response: Thanks, we're really pleased you've enjoyed all your stays - it's very flattering to get repeat bookings.

This was the third time we had been to Capistrano and this was the nicest accommodation we have had (Mr C 8/06. The apartment was everything we were led to believe and more (Mr G 9/06).
