Reviews of Property: Luxury townhouse with shared pool

We had a wonderful relaxing holiday in praia da Luz. The townhouse is very spacious and clean, there is a well equipped kitchen with everything you need. The shared pool area is very clean. Luz is about 10 minutes walk downhill, then a further 5 minutes to a beautiful beach.
There are many lovely restaurants to choose from and the fish dishes are superb.
We experienced excellent customer service from Jonathan (the owner) and would highly recommend this property.

We had a lovely relaxing holiday in this immaculate townhouse. It is one of approximately 6 properties within a gated complex, so we often had the place to ourselves. The townhouse was spacious, light and airy and had everything we needed for a self-catering break. There are well-kept enclosed gardens surrounding a clean pool which has varying depths to suit all ages and confidence levels in swimming. The main village of Luz is a 10 minute walk downhill - lovely views en route, although a good supermarket is only a few minutes walk from the property. Luz has some lovely beaches, walks, bars and eateries.

It is well worth hiring a car as it is easy to navigate around the area and you can visit some beautiful beaches, inland and coastal areas.

Had a great day out on a fishing boat trip and caught plenty of mackerel for the barbecue!

The customer service from the owners was excellent and we would highly recommend this property to others seeking a comfortable townhouse in a good location. It is safe and secure for children due to the automatic gates into the complex, walled garden and allocated parking space within the complex.

In summary, a lovely place which is well worth a visit and this is a good townhouse to choose.

The town house in Luz was exactly as it said on the tin! It is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean and provided all the amenities you would want for a holiday in Portugal. The townhouse is well-positioned in relation to Luz which provided a good range of restaurants, some shops and the beach.
I would definitely recommend to others and will be back to stay myself in the very near future.

My wife and I returned home on the 19th Oct 08 after a brilliant week's holiday at the Quinta Do Figo townhouse in Praia da Luz. The townhouse was excellent. It had everything to hand that we needed, it was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. We particularly liked the way that guests were allowed to leave everyday non-perishable things for other guests to use such as salt, pepper, tea and coffee and the odd beer or two. Especially useful if like us, you arrive on a Sunday after the supermarkets have closed.

For us, the location of the townhouse was superb and the security gates made it very private indeed. From the balcony we could see the sea and we ate most of our meals there in the sunshine which was extremely pleasant. Booking the townhouse was easy and very friendly and the refundable security deposit was in the post to us the day after we got home.

I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending the townhouse to any of our friends and we will certainly consider it again for our next trip to Portugal.

We had a lovely holiday staying at this townhouse. It was great to just relax at the pool and to be able to go for walks into Luz whenever suited. The house is fitted with all modern amenities and there are toys provided to keep children happy in a safe environment and sunbeds for the parents to relax on. The property was immaculate and well maintained and the owner provided us with very good customer service and there is an information pack provided to assist holiday makers with events and places to visit. Luz is a wonderful place and there numerous restaurants along the sea front. The beach and sea here is very safe for young children and I recommend this use of this townhouse to anyone. We certainly will be back.

A highly recommended rental accomodation. Very clean, and modern with all the equipment you could need. All behind automated gates so we felt safe with the knowledge that the children were ok. Straight out of your bedroom into the pool - what more could anyone ask for. Praia is a lovely resort for a relaxing laid back holiday and the beaches are great. We could not fault the accomodation and would love to go back at some point. Refundable deposit posted within the week, an excellent service. Thank you.
