What a find! Luxury!

We found this cabin online and booked directly with the owner Steve, who could not have been more friendly and helpful. When we arrived the cabin was astounding and the setting immaculate. There were 5 of us - and so much spare room and space that we all relaxed.
We will definitely book again, and again...
The sound system is incredible, with cinema quality - take some DVDs for those early nights.

The Lodge is beautiful and spacious and of a very high standard 5*. Its extremely well equipped everything we needed was there and more. The TV and sound system is brilliant - now my other half wants the system at home! Great location for getting out and about for the Lake District. Would definately stay there again.

overall very good but just little things that spoilt it slightly.
1.central heating not working so cold at night especially being may and towels not drying.
2.barbecue a rusty old piece of tin that was dirty
3.only 4 wooden chairs which had not beeen painted and in poor condition and one very burnt.
4.no instructions to work anything and took one day to sort tv,dvd etc to work out.
5.three piece suite very dirty and not really the colour for renting.
Got the impression that the credit crunch was biting and needed just little a bit of attention to improve what was a very nice lodge in an excellent position with good facilities

Wonderful property, great location. Pity we didn't have longer to benefit from the facilities both inside and beyond the lodge. Idea was to find a place that would "tide us over" if the sun didn't shine. (un)fortunately the sun shone every day so we were out and about! Well fitted throughout, didn't want for anything. Great to have a fully functioning kitchen - although not used much on this occasion. Clean, well maintained and everything as advertised. Great base for visiting southern lakes. Wish we had the time to stay longer.

A Beautiful Break

Thank you for another wonderful stay,this was our 2nd visit in as many years, I should have put this review on last year. For 2 couples the cabin still remains more than spacious to say the least the furniture is all of good taste and quality and as the main bathroom has 2 doors by it makes 1 of the second rooms en-suite also. On previous visits to the area we have booked in B&B's or a hotel but not anymore the cabin is more comfortable and relaxed and for 2 couples a nice saving a home from home now.
Luxurious it most definitely is, we look forward to making our booking for next year.

I am not sure how much feedback you normally get but thought that it would be nice to give you some.
Just a quick note to let you know that the family had a really lovely break at your cabin. So often descriptions of accomodation dont live up to expectations but yours certainly did and it was lovely accomodation and a really nice site. We would certainly consider using it again in the future Regards Julie Milad
