Among the Nicois

The location was fabulous, you felt you were really living in Nice, with the wonderful local market and cafes and restaurants - not touristland at all - yet really handy for the tram and hence all central facilities.
It was great to have an apartment with a proper bedroom, a proper kitchen and a proper bathroom, all very well and tastefully fitted out.
It was too hot during our stay to breakfast on the balcony, and although it would have been nice to sleep with the windows open, we kept them shut, because the only downside of this apartment is that the traffic noise outside is quite loud. The owners have thought of everything though - they even offer earplugs.
The sofabed for the third visitor looked fine, but we didn't try it out.
Given the degree of thought they have put into everything, and their friendly welcome, I am sure that their other apartments would also offer a delightful stay.
And if you aren't sure if you should be going to Nice - don't hesitate. A fabulous city, with fantastic public transport links to lots of other interesting places.
