Reviews of Property: Beautiful 4 bedroom villa with private pool near Lagos and beach

Not long returned from our lovely 2 week stay at Casa Ajana. Would highly recommend this villa, the location is perfect, in the countryside with beautiful views yet close enough to be convenient for Lagos, beaches, supermarkets etc. The villa is spacious, secluded, quiet and is set in lovely gardens. It is excellently equipped with a fantastic pool and a great external BBQ room. As a previous review, we visited Restaurante "O Caseiro" just outside a small village called Arao, the meal was brilliant, as was the service - highly recommended. The owners friend Reg was very helpful and was on hand if anything was needed. A brilliant holiday was had by all with ages ranging from 17 to 71.

We had an excellent 2 weeks here - the whole family (4 children, parents, granny) enjoyed themselves very much. The villa itself was as described although I would say the pictures did not quite do it justice. There is a barbecue room for cooking all the fresh fish from Lagos market and a very nice outside seating area. Elena, the maid who comes in every day to tidy up/wash up/ do washing was another perk which we were unaware of. Highly recommended.

We have been renting villas in Europe and USA for 25 years. Casa Ajana is the best yet. It was very spacious and well equiped with a great pool set in lovely gardens. An ideal base for visiting brilliant beaches and many varied restaurants.Elena kept the villa spotless and Reg 's information on the best places to eat was spot on. Would I recomend it? Certainly
Would I go again ? Absolutely.

We have just returned with our 3 kids from a three week holiday at Casa Ajana. The villa is very spacious and beautifully maintained by Elena who comes in 6 days a week. The villa was only a short drive from the centre of Lagos and it is ideal for those looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday. In addition, there are great taxi facilities available from Lagos for those looking for a bit of nightlife. We ate in a restaurant called Restaurante "O Caseiro" in a small village called Arao, which had been recommended to us. It was the best meal of the holiday and is about a 15 minute drive from the villa. Fantastic food and great service. We drove to Amado beach on a couple of days where we did a little surfing or body boarding with the kids. It was only a 20 minute drive from the villa and we were able to alternate between the lovely pool at the villa and a day at the beach. All in all it was a lovely time and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get away from it all and de-stress in the lovely rural surroundings.

Casa Ajana is perfectly located just outside Lagos.

The property was well maintained and cleaned to a very high standard.

As a family we couldn't have been happier. Would return in a heart beat.

This is the third time we have visited this villa. The property description is accurate. There is masses of space, a fantastic pool and its away from the hustle and bustle.
We like the fact that it is out of town and relatively secluded and quiet.
The villa can be reached in under an hour from Faro Airport and Lagos is only 10 minutes away as is the beach.
It's a great place for a holiday.
