Reviews of Property: Malaga City, Spacious apartment with pool and tennis court close to beach

We were there June the 29th for a fantastic week in El Palo.
We feel like in a friends house, everything is there + a friendly touch at the arrival. Close to the beach + the super market. Clean place with an olympic pool and a fantastic view. The sunset is unbelievable almost every night.

We strongly recommend that place.

we have just returned from our holidays at this apartment and we where really impressed The apartment is lovely and clean and so peaceful and we where made very welcome. The pool was very clean and well looked after and there was a guard on at all times it is situated in a residential area of El Palo and the beach is only a 5minute walk with loads of fish restaurants and Malaga city is about a 20 minute ride by bus and from Malaga city you can get buses to Granada, Seville etc. El Palo is very Spanish and unspoilt so if you want a proper Spanish holiday and no whining English or egg and chips its the ideal place to visit. We would definitely go back and would highly recommend the apartment and the area.

Have just returned from a week in this apartment and whilst it is very clean, with a nice new bathroom & kitchen, the location is not very good. The apartment is not actually in Malaga but in a slightly downmarket suburb. The beach at El Palo is also uninviting with a few cafes and a lot of litter and dogs mess. (poop scooping has not caught on in Spain!) The bus ride to the centre of Malaga is very cheap and reliable but takes 25mins each way and that can get a bit wearing. Also if like us you were looking forward to a cooling swim after a hot days sightseeing make sure the advertised pool is open as it was full of leaves and rubbish when we were there ( 1st week May). The owner was very friendly but we did feel that we were misled with both the description of the location and the facilities available.

Top gelegenes Appartement (ca. 3 Minuten vom Meer, Strand El Palo), Supermarkt ein paar Meter weg, öffentliche Verbindung in Stadtzentrum von Malaga 3-4 Minuten weg (dauert mit Bus ca. 15-20 Minuten; es empfiehlt sich aber auch, am Strand entlang zu spazieren).

Appartement ist sehr gut ausgerüstet, geschmackvoll eingerichtet - und man fühlt sich bereits nach kurzer Zeit sehr heimisch. Küche und Bad sind kürzlich renoviert worden.

Abende lassen sich wunderschön in einem der Restis am Strand ebenso wie auf dem grosszügigen Balkon des Appartements geniessen.

Last but not least: der Swimmingpool ist genial. Für uns ist klar: Wir kommen wieder.

Die Wohnung ist gut gepflegt, auch wenn die Renovierung schon etwas zurück liegt und die Möblierung nicht besonders modern oder neu ist.
Die Küche ist auf jeden Fall erwähnenswert, weil super ausgestattet - alles ist da, von Paella-Pfanne über Toaster bis hin zum Dosenöffner.
!!! Wichtig für alle, die nicht während der spanischen Schulferien dort wohnen möchten: Eine Schule ist direkt gegenüber und die Kinder haben viel Zeit, um im Schulhof zu spielen - lang Ausschlafen ist dann mau und in Ruhe lesen auch, weil die Fenster nicht vor Lärm schützen. Also auch wer auf Straßenlärm empfindlich reagiert, ist hier falsch - wir sind Verkehrslärm aus der Großstadt gewöhnt, nur das Geschrei und eine fette Baustelle waren für uns nervig.
Am Pool hinterm Haus, der riiiesig ist (50x12m), ist es dafür wesentlich ruhiger, und alles ist schön gepflegt - es gibt sogar Toiletten, Duschen sowie einen Barbecue-Platz und wer noch mehr sporteln möchte, kann Tennis spielen.

Toll an der Lage der Wohnung ist auch die Nähe zum Meer. Zu den schöneren Buchten sind es nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß, kleine Fischrestaurants sind auch direkt am Strand.
Um in die Stadt zu kommen, gibt es einen alle paar Minuten fahrenden Bus, der nur 1€ kostet (mit einer 10er-Karte wird's nochmal günstiger, die "Tarjeta" gibt's in den meisten Tabacos) also ist es auch nicht schlimm, dass man vom Appartement bis in die Innenstadt zu Fuß eher 2 Stunden unterwegs ist...

Küche vor. Die Verbindungen per Bus in die City und
nähere Umgebung sind gut und preislich günstig.Zum
Strand sind es ca. 10 min. per Fuss.Dort findet man
reizende ursprüngliche Restaurants und Bars.
