A fabulous location

A group of 6 of us (3 couples) stayed in this apartment from the 17th to the 23rd September this year and we couldn't have asked for a better location. Florence was beautiful, unforgetable in fact and the apartment itself was spacious, well maintained, very clean with very hospitable hosts. The country-side location just outside but overlooking the city was perfect and the decent walk up hill from the bus stop meant we could walk off all the pizza and gelato we consumed during the day! The buses into and out Florence were regular and cheap! Would recommend a stop at the Coop on the bus route just outside of Florence for stocking up on supplies. Would recommend staying here to anyone thinking of going to Florence.

A treasure above Florence

We recently enjoyed a stay with Francesco and his mother Teresa in one of their beautiful villas. The postion above Florence made for a memorable view and the welcome and help we received was much appreciated. I would highly recommend this villa for it's location and facilities, although there is no air conditioning. The pool was very welcome during the hot August days. We look forward to returning soon.

Beautiful location within walking distance to beautiful Villa Petraia, helpful, accommodating, wonderful hosts, clean, comfortable, well-maintained spacious accommodations, amazing views, fun cooking class, delicious meal, spacious grounds for walking and relaxing. Short walk down to bus stop, long difficult walk back up to villa from bus stop, car very helpful unless you take taxi which is fine. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful place with excellent view over Florence. Nice owners who helped us with small details like bus and shops. We also had excellent dinner there. And swimming pool was a good relaxing place after climbing to the house, which was the only minus.

Had the holiday of a life time in Italy, drove through France and Switzerland to get to Florence, the villa Clementina was how we imagined an Italian villa to be cool, roomy and very atmospheric set amongst olive groves and ancient narrow italian lanes. The family was very friendly and welcoming and we would certainly go back. It was wonderful to watch the sun go down every evening over that incredible city we'll never forget our time in Florence.
