Our short stay

Hannah's Cottage is in a quiet part of the village with immediate access to good pub(s), and a very good grocer/butcher. It is a short drive from Banbury for larger grocery shopping but access to the immediate countryside in minutes.

Clare & I loved our two day break for its quiet and tranquility. The cottage has everything one would wish for in a modern home, and its comfort only added to a good two day break.

Reading the visitors book confirmed that others had similar experiences, and its without reservation that we recommend this Cotswald hideaway.

We had a wonderful time at Hannah's Cottage. It is a very lovely, comfortable and private cottage with a great bed. We were close to everything we wanted to see and do, a central location to the Cotswold's, Oxford, Stratford Upon Avon and Birmingham. Charlotte and Chris were very welcoming and Charlotte gave us a nice basket of goodies. A great place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Hannah's Cottage. It was well beyond our expectations. The cottage was much larger than we expected and actually slept 4 people. It's warm, cosy and in a great location. The hosts are warm, friendly and very helpful. It was wonderful to see a basket containing fresh bread, juice, wine etc on the kitchen table especially after the drive from London. We highly recommend it as a great place to get away from it all, yet close enough to many attractions. We wished that we stayed there longer.

Having just returned from a wonderful week's stay at Hannah's Cottage we cannot recommend it enough. From the start Charlotte had sent clear and easy directions, and when we did arrive we were delighted at what awaited us. it was absolutely spotless and surpassed it's description. When we arrived there was a lovely welcoming basket with all the things to start us with. It is a quintiessential English village. The residents are very friendly. We booked a meal at the Bell pub which was 2 doors away and it was a perfect meal and the staff could not do enough for us. It is a perfect setting for all the best tourist attractions, We wiil certainly be returning.

Simon and I are regular visitors to Hannah's Cottage, or frequent flyers and Charlotte calls us. It would seem that most of her visitors have the same opinion, once you visit you just have to come back again and again. The photos really don't do it justice and it has the most comfortable bed in the universe! The peaceful setting and the views across the valley are brilliant. Great walks around the village and the local countryside. If you drive up the A40, keep an eye out for Red Kites. Visit, you won't regret it!

We had a really relaxing 3 night stay at Hannah's Cottage. Everything you could need is provided - even a welcome back with milk, bread (homemade I think), butter, cereal, eggs and wine - all the essentials! The cottage was very clean and there was lots of information provided about places to visit, where to eat, walk books and maps. Highly recommended.

We could only stay one night but this was no problem to Charlotte who welcomed us with a lovely basket of goodies for our breakfast! It was lovely to walk around the village and there were plenty of pubs within easy reach though we opted to stay in as it was so relaxing at the cottage!

A friend and I were travelling to the UK for a wedding. We arrived a few weeks early for a holiday and booked Hannah's Cottage almost 9mths before travelling. When we arrived we were so surprised, the cottage was so much bigger than expected, and had all the required luxuries that you would like while on a self catering holiday, including dishwasher. The hosts were wonderful, were closeby if needed, but not imposing. The village was typical english countryside, the 700 year old church interesting. Walking around the village provided so many photo opportunities. Access to the M40 for quick daytrips to other areas was handy. The cross coutryside drives to Althorp, whipsnade & Stowe Gardens was great. Banbury is only a few kilometres away for shopping supplies, the village store is around the corner for emergency supplies. The 2 weeks we stayed went far too quickly, would love to return one day, but this cottage is so close to perfect, you could almost live here forever

This lovely cottage is only one hour driving from London-Luton. Charlotte always provided a very warm welcome. Hannah's Cottage is equipped with everything you are used to from home. You hardly won't miss anything there. This makes you feel very comfortable right from the beginning. Although the Bell Inn (one of the local pubs) is adjacent to the garden of the cottage we never really felt disturbed by any kind of Pub activitiy.
The gorgeous Cotswolds area is pretty close and there are numerous historical Houses waiting to be discovered. Also Stratford-upon-Avon where several houses associated to Shakespeare can be explored is not far from Adderbury.
My wife and I are always very much looking forward to spending our holiday at Hannah's Cottage and we can recommend this place to everybody who likes to be in England and enjoy the British "way of life". When we were young we used to live in England for quite some time while I had a job opportunity. Since then we just love to be in England.

Location is beautifully peaceful and ideal for a relaxing holiday. The property was pristine, welcoming and modern with all the amenities required for our stay of a week. Were welcomed with a lovely welcome basket by the owner, something which we have never had when renting other holiday cottages. We would definitely recommend this to all friends that are looking for relax, to visit historical attractions as well as enjoy the countryside.
