Reviews of Property: Traditional converted farmhouse set in tranquil surroundings

We stayed at the Farmhouse during July 2009. Eight adults and one child of 11 had plenty of room, it really is very spacious. The house is very rustic and we instantly felt welcomed and at "home". The pool is huge, clean and came in very handy as the week averaged over 100 degrees.

We all agreed that we'd never been so relaxed in a . A very good barbecue is available, we made use of it a couple of times.

Barty is a lovely man, made us feel very comfortable, and is around if needed.

We will definitely stay again and can't recommend this property enough.

We rent this property whith my family ( different generation)for a wedding in Malta. Every body was enjoyed .We can life in this house with 10 pers and it''s not a problem .The swimming pool is very nice. This house is very easy to clean, big barbecue...
We can buy everythings without car.And the environment is wilde.

Private old property forming its own hidden oasis of calm in a mature garden setting featuring a wonderful pool with shady terraces,barbeque and large outside dining table and chairs ;comfortable accomodation in the main family house, however the two bed annexe is rather cramped with the whole property requiring some updating especially to the bathrooms and the otherwise charming traditional kitchen; the farmhouse was well prepared,maintained to a good standard; the owner, Barty gave excellent service and was on-hand to provide back-up support whenever required; would recommend for a comfortable Maltese stay

The house was as described, a spacious, well appointed traditional farmhouse with many original features, from the large lounge/ dining area to the county style kitchen.
The house is set back from the road out of San Gwann, but within a very short walk to the shops including a couple of supermarket and a grocer. A car is essential to get around the island, although the house is located only about twenty minutes from the airport and centrally so that exploring is easy.
The grounds although close to other properties are secluded with trees and planting creating an oasis around the fabulous pool. The pool has plenty of space around it for outside dinning with a shallow area that is perfect for the younger ones or just for dipping your toes.
A wonderful house and location to spend the week just for relaxing or to cover the whole island and have a complete ‘Malta Experience’.

We rented the property for a week in October, the owner was extremely helpfull whilst booking the property and this continued throughout our stay.
The villa is clean and well maintained with the owner being close by to answer any queries and deal with any problems if required - but not to close as to inhibit your stay. The description on the internet sight matched with the villa.
A car is a definate requirement if you have children and want to see the Island. Centrally located for day trips to the South Island or North to Gozo, we took children aged from 8 weeks old up to 10 years old and all loved the pool, which is well situated next to the front room so you can supervise younger children without having to sit outside if required.

The villa is both embracing and spacious. It is set in a semi-exotic landscape, allowing one to sink into an insouciant holiday mode. The owner is attentive to the needs of his guests, yet unintrusive. The villa is close to the town, facilitating those who wish for a more hectic evening, yet sufficiently removed to allow for a later convalescence in peace and quiet. The following day one can rest with a book by the pool, and plunge in every so often for the coolness.
