Gem Of An Apartment And What A Location

Review Submitted: March 4, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2007
Just a quick note to thank you very much for the use of the apartment, it was absolutely fantastic, a more idyllic location would be harder to find, what a gem of a place. We will definitely recommend it too friends and we have already spoken about paying the place another visit later in the year. Marina, you representative in Medulin was extremely helpful with information and advice when we arrived. We could not have asked for more.

sunny mai 2009

Hi Roberta,

we had very nice holidays in Medulin. The apartment was very well for 4 adult people. We had everything we want to. The view to the sunsetting from the balcony was excellent. We had very sunny weather and the Pizza from the recommended Pizzeria da Giovanni was delicious. It was not crowded in may, so we had a very silent place to relax from everyday life.

Maybe some other time we rent the apartment again.

Best wishes from

Martin and Anja

My wife and I and our two small daughters aged 6 and 8 thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your very nice apartment . We also enjoyed Croatia with its excellent restaurants. The high light of our holiday was renting a little boat and going to an offshore island to sample fresh baby squid , caught and cleaned in front of us and barbecued with a delicious salad.
Your caretaker in the cafe up the road was also most helpful in finding keys and replacing a light bulb!

Medulin 18/10/08

Review Submitted: November 4, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2008
Just wanted to extend our thanks to Roberta for the lovely holiday accommodation at Medulin. The apartment was clean, well equiped and spacious. The view from the balcony was stunning, especially the sunsets. Although our visit was in the close season, the lack of tourists made it a quiet and peaceful stay. Most of the restaurants were very quiet with some closed. A car is a must though in this region. Highlights included Rabac, Ronvinji and Prematura peninsula.

All in all and excellent break and would recommend the accomodation to anyone. We were welcomed by the ever-friendly Sandy who was on hand if we needed anything. Many thanks Roberta

Great holiday destination

Review Submitted: October 11, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
Even though our holiday was at the end of the season, we found plenty to do and see in the immediate area. The apartment is in a quiet and peaceful area, and yet only a few minutes walk to stores, restaurants, and other facilities. We were pleasantly surprised by the restaurant and supermarket prices, which were much cheaper than at home.

We had dinner twice at Giovannis, where we liked the extensive and inexpensive menu, and it was only a short distance from the apartment. We splashed out one evening and went to the Valsabbion at Pjescana Uvala for an extraordinary gastronomic experience. In the same location we also discovered the Vela Nera restaurant, which we rated highly.

The bonus of having our own car meant that we could explore Pula, Rovinj, the Premantura peninsula, and the east coast up to Labin and Rabac. We also took the day trip from Porec to Venice, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Although by nature we like to go out and explore as much as possible, the apartment is ideal for those that just want a quiet and relaxing place to unwind. You could sit on the balcony all day with a book, admiring the lovely view, especially if, like us, you are fortunate to have great weather. The apartment is also very well equipped if you want to cook and eat in each evening.

All in all, we found the apartment very comfortable and attractive, and enjoyed our stay there.

Great location - close to faciliies yet quite at night. Well equipped and has air-con. Medulin has everything good restuarants, and if you want to self cater.
Supermarket, Bakers, Butchers and Fishmonger. The local rep Sandi is extremely friendly and helpful.
We are looking forward to returning

I booked the apartment last minute and Roberta was very easy to deal with. She was prompt at replying to my initial enquiry and the booking was straight forward.

On our arrival we were met by Sandi who was very helpful and friendly. He answered all our questions and gave some good recommendations on restaurants.

The apartment was clean, well equippedand well presented with thought gone into providing information about the surrounding area and even into providing beach mats. The view from the balcony was beautiful and we enjoyed eating and drinking wine on the balcony in the evenings. Medulin is easy to walk around and, having hired a car, travelling to Pula, Porec, Rovinj and around Premantura was a breeze.

The locals were very friendly and helpful.

We had a great time.

Roberta's Medulin Apartment

Barry & Angela Brisbane, Australia
Review Submitted: March 8, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2007
We stayed in this apartment for two weeks in September-October 2007, a very quiet time in Medulin.

We made the arrangements with Roberta by email from Brisbane, Australia. She is most professional in her dealings and all the arrangements worked well. Both Marina and Sandi, the local contacts, were most helpful.

There were two couples touring together and the time we spent in the apartment in Medulin was a highlight in a long trip. The apartment lived up to its promise, although the bedrooms are small and the stairs make heavy luggage a challenge. The apartment is very well situated, with many beautiful attractions, shops and restaurants nearby. Although, to make the most of the local area and Istria, a car is essential.

We took note of Roberta's comprehensive briefing material which was accurate and very helpful. We accepted the recommendation to dine at Valsabbion, near Pula, and the experience was memorable for its fine dining.

Overall, we felt the apartment was value-for-money and would be happy to return.

Fantastic apartment, great location, lovely people

We visited the apartment in August '07 and thought it was lovely. Our party consisted of 2 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 5. The location was superb and the people very friendly. We hired a car and travelled to various beaches, remember to buy the beach shoes as the beaches can be pebbly and muddy once you go out to sea. We also hired bikes which was great fun and ideal for the kids as the paths were fairly flat. We ate out every night and each restaurant was superb, very friendly staff and lovely food.
Overall a great destination, made even better by the apartment.

Croatia Holiday

RUGBY REFEREE Gloucester
Review Submitted: March 5, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2007
My family experienced Croatia for 2 weeks in July / August 2007 and had an enjoyable time. The apartment in Meduline was fantastic, being very clean, well maintained & ideal for a family or a couple. The comfortable beds & air conditioning ensured that we all slept well after each days' activity. The views from the balcony were great & topping up our tans & reading in a peaceful environment were very welcome. The nearby shop & bar provided essentials, with larger supermarkets in Pula offering almost everything.
Meduline has some excellent restaurants such as Pizzeria Memosa & Pizzeria Giovanni, whilst Veli Joze in Rovinj is well worth a visit. Rovinj, Porec & Rebac are all pleasant resorts with clean beaches, water sports & ferries. Premantura has a rugged coastline with several quiet bays & crystal clear water to swim in.
The owners provided us with lots of useful information about Meduline & Croatia. Returning each evening to relax with a glass of wine in their modern apartment led to all of us unwinding & having a superb holiday. We shall return.
