FANTASTIC LOCATION

Review Submitted: May 19, 2008 Date of Stay: April 2007
We had a lovely time at this ideally located apartment.
Literally across the road from the gorgeous Playa Naufragos Beach, a lovely sandy beach with plenty of water sports available for the more daring holidaymaker.
A 4 or 5 minute walk to a reasonably priced supermarket (well priced for local food reasonably priced for English food), passing many good English & Spanish bars/cafes on the way, all only 2/3 mins walk away. The town centre is a lovely 20-25 min stroll away along the beach (or 4-5 mins in a taxi) SO NO NEED FOR A CAR.
The aparment itself is very clean and well stocked with everything you would need for a hassle free holiday, the private roof top solarium is excellent for the long hot summer days.
Should you require the transfers the couple that do them are also very helpful
Would definately use again

Nice apartment

Stayed in this apartment between 22/07/09 - 29/07/09.

The apartment was clean and tidy and we were happy with it. It was big enough for our family of two adults and two children and the facilities were good. The only grumble I have is the lack of an air conditioning system. Trying to sleep was often difficult due to the heat and the children had a few uncomfortable nights. Other than that we were impressed.

The location was good, the beach being very close, ( but it does get crowded). The sea water was very warm - although quite murky.

The apartment block is clean and secure and the residents are friendly. There is a supermarket nearby and a few cafe's.

There is a lot of stairs to negotiate to get to the apartment and so it is not ideal for pushchairs.

However, all in all, definately worth what we paid and the kids didn't want to leave.

If you are looking for a pool/ beach holiday rather than nightlife then I would recommend.
Owner's Response: There are ceiling fans in each room and the cost of putting air conditioning into the apartment would double the price per week.
We have kept the same price for the last 3 years and for 2010 so that families can afford a holiday in Spain.
In the height of summer July and August the beach does get busy. When there are a lot of people in the sea the sand gets disturbed so the water would look murky.

A great base for a self catering holiday

Review Submitted: February 6, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2008
Stayed Oct 2008 for three weeks.
The appartments were very well equiped and clean. Nice private pool which we used as temps were in the mid 20s.lovely roof terrace where we had many bbq.s. There is a nice beach bar behind the local supermarket. We hired a car for ten days, booked back home on the internet from doyouspain.com and it cost £82 + fuel. Nice little village not far away called San Miguel, beautiful market there, all English people. Dont go to Torrevieja market its full of pick pockets. If you do keep your hands on your money.
We loved it here and are thinking of returning soon.

Just back from two weeks in Los Naufragos, was great! The apartment had all we needed, we felt very safe here. The other ocupants were very friendly. The beach literally was minutes walk away and for those lazy days when even that as too far for us, the roof terrace was a real bonus! A great breeze up there with terrific views over the sea and towards the salt lakes. At night we got the bus across the main road which took less than ten minutes to Torrevieja. Loads of great restaurants and bars there - top restaurant was Bahia across from the market on the front. Only eight euro to get home. The owner made all the organising very easy and even organised transfer from the airport to the apartment and back for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend this holiday!

First of all I want to say that we get a splended service from the owner to the apartment.
we stayed in the apartment for only two day`s but I like it very good. I enjoyed it ekstra because it was very near to the beach and the beach was clean as the aparment. We did also like the people around in the other apartment and get a lovely service.
Everything I needed was in the apartment and I slept very good. My husband think the bed was a bit hard but I liked it, and I give him a massage on the beach who helpt him .Ha ha.. My daughter lost her luggage on the airport and it was a very nice and big shoping senter eight Euro`s away with taxi, and shopping to nice price.
We did not have much time but like the food, and walking in the "town" was nice.
We have to learn to take siesta, and learn more spanisch.
Best regards from Gunn and family in Norway.

A fantastic holiday!

This is our 2nd stay in this apartment, we had a lovely holiday with everything you could possibly need in the apartment. The balconies and solarium are perfect for that lazy relaxing sunbathing day, or if you like the beach it is literaly a stones throw away. The pool was very clean and almost always empty. There was a decent supermarket just a few minutes walk away were you could buy everything for your holiday and plenty of good restaurants within a short walk, making this a perfect situation for a car free self-catering holiday. The apartment was clean and spacious, the double bed comfortable and masses of wardrobe space and hangers. Also, the safe is a very good idea.
I can recommend the restaurant just down the road ''El Refugio' the menu del dia at 10euros is a snip, but the menu del noches at 18euros is very good value - the service was very good!

Holiday July 2006

Review Submitted: May 21, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2007
We stayed at this apartment complex in July 2006.We rented three apartments for all our family. The apartment was fantastic home from home and we really enjoyed our stay. There were some minor problems with the Spanish residents in the apartments who did their best to make us feel un welcome and often closed the pool claiming it was contaminated!! The beach front location was excellent, but we did not like the distance to the main town. We also thought that it was an extremely busy place the beach was really overcrowded each day. It could have just been the time that we where visiting though. Having said all that I would definately recommend the apartment to others because it is an ideal place to stay if you have young children or just to get away from it all. If you need to be entertained and like lots of bars and flashing lights etc this is not the place for you.
Owner's Response: In the Summer of 2006 a president was appointed in the apartment block who only liked Spanish, he has now sold his apartment and from 2007 we appointed a president who does not discriminate what nationality you are.
Everybody in the block are friendly and from all different nationalities who have made Spain their home. July and August is the busiest time of the year for holidays and as this is a Spanish beach you will get lots of Spanish families. The pool is cleaned once a week and has never been contaminated.

Great Location

We have just returned from Los Naufragos where we enjoyed a short (too short ) break in this apartment. The apartment was everything we expected and lived up exactly to the description in web site. We were dealt with very efficiently both by the owner when we made the booking and also by the resort rep. The block was quiet but very conveniently located with a very short walk to the nearest supermarket and literally just a stone throw away from the beach. The town centre was a pleasant stroll away and we went there each evening. The resort is much more Spanish than some along the coast but this makes it a nice change.
I would certainly visit again.
