Reviews of Property: Taormina on the beach (Giardini Naxos)

Property interior was very clean, attractive and well maintained inside. Description is misleading as it only has air conditioning in one bedroom, this was not satisfactory in hot July. For breakfast don't expect a pot of coffee and some fresh bread being delivered, it consisted of some packets of biscuits, a litre of milk and six cartons of yoghurt.The exterior of the block was not attractive, a bit dingy with a building site next door.
The owners were very helpful and attentive.
Local restaurants are limited in number but excellent.
Beach unsuitable for very young children as it is stoney and shelves steeply.
Local bus services are cheap and good but don't try to travel at peak times.

Beautiful apartment and facilities, perfectly situated on Naxos Beach, close to shops 5 minutes walk away from bars so it is nice and quiet if that is what you want. Much bigger than it looks in the photos and kept in very good condition, the only down side is that it is not mine!

We liked this apartment so much that this was our second year in it. We find it very convenient for the beaches, just a couple of minutes walking and it was nice not to have to drive anywhere, as it is located near pleanty of shopping facilities. The apartment it is very well organized with modern and functional facilities. When we went there the area was also very quiet. we love the fact that we could go to the beach put our parasole in place and leave it on the beach as we went back "home" for lunch and the afternoon siesta. The owner is very helpful and friendly and made sure that on arrival we had the bare necessities to start our holidays. We also love the Pizzeria/Rosticceria nearby.

Unforgettable days in Giardini Naxos. We had really good weather and very special food. The apartment is really well located absolutely confortable, well furnished and very clean. The owner, Alessandro, is a nice boy, full of interest and well prepared when required for any suggestion. We appreciated very much the uncrowed time, that helped our relaxing and resting, but also our amusement in the bars and discos of Taormina..We will come back soon, trust us!!

Giardini Naxos in March is a very quiet location ideal for those who want to spend a relaxing holiday. The apartment is located in a central location is well organized with all the comforts and close to markets, bars and restaurants . Excellent breakfast made available by the owners! There are many excursions you can do: Taormina, Catania, Syracusa and the erupting Etna that is truly beautiful. Unfortunately, the rather low temperatures have not allowed us to enjoy the wonderful beaches located a short walk from the apartment. The description of this apartment is very misleading. It is not 50 metres from the beach unless you can fly, and it is actually 10 minutes walk from the main beach. It is functional - by no means beautiful with very dated furniture. To say it has air conditioning is misleading as it is only in the main bedroom. When we stayed it was so hot this meant we couldn't use the second bedroom. The worst thing about it however and what led us to leave after one night is the fact that the main balcony overlooks a car park and Avis drop off point so you cannot sit out on it (unless you are happy to look at cars and smell exhaust fumes). The balcony at the back overlooks rubbish bins. Giardini Naxos is a lovely town and this was the second time we have stayed there. I would recommend it wholeheartedly and would especially recommend Seasound restaurant I would not however recommend this apartment.
