Petit coin de paradis

We stayed at Casa Encina in July, and can thoroughly recommend it. The location isn't in a tourist area, but that adds to the appeal - just sitting on the patio in the evening watching the birds drinking from the pool and looking out for visits from owls was a great experience. Clean uncrowded beaches of fine sand are less than 10 miles away, with no high-rise development. Vejer is literally a few minutes drive. Also, the cities of Cadiz and Jerez are a short journey away and well worth a visit, as is Tarifa, Europes most southerly town. The owners are always available, but never too close, and the Casa is clean, comfortable and well equipped (Although a grill or oven would be useful). Also, animal lovers will enjoy the regular visits from a wide range of pets!
If you value a degree of privacy, enjoy a calm environment and want an unhurried and relaxing holiday, the Finca is an ideal base.
The region itself offers so much more than the typical Spanish Costa holiday, so the makings are there for a great holiday.

Nous avons passé 2 semaines super relaxe dans un endroit formidable.
La qualité de l'accueil est tout simplement excellent , et la maison bien tenu offre un confort tres appreciable.
Le jardin , les animaux jamais envahissants et la piscine permettent de profiter au maximum du sejour.
La disposition des villas et la magnifique vegetation preserve l'intimité.
Carin gere tout cela avec gentillesse et courtoisie.

Wir haben alles für einen schönen und erholsamen Urlaub in Andalusien vorgefunden. Für Urlauber die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen können wir diesen Ort absolut empfehlen!

Ich muss ein Kind gewesen sein, als es mir das letzte Mal gelungen ist, mehr als 7 Stunden zu schlafen. In der Casa Encina, wo Tag und Nacht nur Geräusche aus der Natur den Ohren schmeicheln, habe ich 8-9 Stunden pro Nacht geschlafen - wie im Paradies. Uns uns zuliebe haben die Vögel sogar Nachtschichten eingelegt. Besser kann Erholung gar nicht sein.

Das ganze Gelände ist mit so viel Liebe zur Natur und so viel Geschmack und Sinn für Schönheit angelegt, dass es eine Freude war, einfach vorm Haus zu sitzen und die exotische südländische Vegatation zu genießen.

Ein Lob an die liebenswürdigen Gastgeber Carlos und Carin. Sie versprühen einen Charme, der uns sogleich ein Gefühl von Zuhause vermittelt hat. Und die frei laufenden Hunde und Katzen stehen ihren Besitzern an Liebenswürdigkeit in nichts nach. Selbst die Ziegen und Hühner, obwohl in Gehegen, lassen es sich nicht nehmen, jede Ankunft mit freudigen Geräuschen zu bereichern. Apropos Hühner: wer gerne mal Eier von kaum noch vorzustellender Qualität essen möchte, kann für wenig Geld welche aus der eigenen "Produktion" erstehen.

Zwar waren wir nur 2 Wochen in diesem Idyll, aber gefühlt waren das locker 4 Wochen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Fantastic vacations in the Finca La Hijuela. We recommend it to you with complete certainty!!!
The house is very nice and in addition everything was very clean.
The garden was spectacular and the swimming pool was great.
It was a delight to be eating in the porch and to see to the little animals to pass.
It is the ideal place for the one who looks for tranquility, to relax but in turn you have nearby a lot of beatiful beaches and precious places.
As for the owners (Carlos and Carin) they will make you feel very confortable. They will be dependent on any thing that you need but always leaving intimacy and independence you.
Indispensable car!!!

Our stay at Encina was perfect!
The prescirption to find the finca was very good.
The casa was furnished tastefull and clean, and we felt at home.
There were many birds around, the early morning started with many singing birds. And in the twilight of the evening the nightjar visited the swimmingpool for a drink. Within an hour driving you find a number of good birdwatching sites.
The pool was a very welcome refreshment after a hot day for us.
We enjoyed the hospitality of Carin and Carlos.

We spent a very marvellous days in this beatiful country house, surrounded by nature, animals and quietness. The owners are very nice and kind people. Even though is not by the sea, that is better because you can enjoy the peace and relax most people look for in their holidays. You are just only ten minutes from the nearest beaches ("El Palmar", for example)
The inside of the house ("Madreselva") is cute and practical. You can find all you need for cooking, washing... And, of course, it was very clean.
We sincerely recomended it for your holidays in the south of Spain, Cádiz

La Hijuela es un sitio encantador, y sus duenos, Carlos y Carin, son super amables. Acconsejamos a todos de pasar unos dias en la paz, la tranquilidad, la frescura y la naturaleza de esta finca.
No olviden que hay cachorritos, cabras, gallos y mucho mas, para recuperar confianza con los animales y la vida de campo.
Es la leche...y las mejores playas estan cerca!
