Villa Santhi was one of the most exceptional places I have ever saved. Directly on the water (and I mean directly, the huge infinity pool cascades right over the beach and the ocean is about 15feet away), it is GIGANTIC with several bedrooms and bathrooms, open air rooms and decks, amazing service. The pictures are absolutely accurate and don't even give you the half of how perfect it is.They were always available for anything we needed, and even made a special dinner for us on the deck (with candles and flowers and music). A driver was available if you wanted to leave the compound (but why would you?). Located on northern aspect of island, it was easy to get to by car from anywhere (hiring a driver, or they will come pick you up), especially if doing a ‘tour’ of the different areas of the island (mountains etc). They even transported us the last little bit by boat for an unbelievable arrival on the beach in front of the house with lea’s and tea and fruit. We went there for an anniversary celebration during an otherwise thrifty Bali month vacation, and it was a splurge but no where NEAR what you would pay anywhere else for this type of accommodation… I without a doubt would wholeheartedly recommend staying there (especially affordable if split between several families/ couples). The only time in my life that I will feel like a movie star… I wish I was there right now.

We spent two weeks in December 2007 at Villa Santhi. The architecture of the house is amazing. From electronic devices (TV, DVD etc.) to the furniture, it is equipped with all the amenities we can imagine. We even had a Christmas tree!
Of course most of our time was spent outside. It was wonderful to sit at the pool just meters away from the beach enjoying the great sea view. Often we sat there until late at night. Many of these evenings one of the friendly security men played Balinese music for us, which made the atmosphere lovely.
All the staff is perfect! We took our breakfast around 1 pm – it was not a problem! The cook prepared every kind of meal we asked for. The manager and driver showed us many nice places in the area, including beautiful waterfalls, markets and a very good (Belgian!!!) restaurant.
An unforgettable highlight was our 2-day trip to the Komodo National Park to see the Komodo Dragons. We asked Novi, the manager, to assist us to get there and it was organized perfectly. For nature lovers this adventure is a must!
We had a great time in a perfect house with perfect and lovely staff. We will be back.

Felt Like Rock Stars

The Villa Santhi is all it is cracked up to be and more. The rave reviews and fabulous looking website do the property justice but you HAVE to go there yourself to really experience the beauty, serenity and charm that the property exudes. We felt like Rock Stars the whole time we were there.
We loved the attention to detail of the property, the fabulous views overlooking the beach and the ocean, the infinity pool, the attentive staff and the great food.
We spent days sunbathing by the pool, walking along the beach and snorkeling. A boat was organised to paddle right up on to the beach in front of the villa to take us dolphin watching and we also went to the former Kings palace in Singaraja where we bumped into his grandson (now an old man) who still lives there. Get Komang to take you to the spectacular waterfalls, that it seems no one else in Bali knows about as we were the only ones there. Amazing! And definitely, definitely have the Dinner Spectacular on the beach.
It is most certainly a property I would highly recommend and would like to think that it is somewhere I will come back to time and time again.

Our visit to Villa Santhi was just out of this world. The location and setting of the Villa could not be better.
All the staff were simply wonderful and our every whim was catered for, even down to the massages being done as and when required. The Special dinner on the beach, complete with the dancers was fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely staff and the images you see on the website are even better when you arrive. This villa is in a heaven sent location and worth the long journey to get here. We have already booked to return in 2009.

Wir leben derzeit mit drei kleinen Kindern als Expats in Indien. Wir waren u.a. auf den Malediven - ganz nett - aber Villa Santhi hat alles übertroffen.
Wir suchten eine ruhige Location für uns und unsere Kinder. Wer eher Shopping und Nachtleben braucht, ist hier fehl am Platz. Wir haben die Villa, das unglaublich leckere Essen, den Garten, den Pool und den Strand und das Meer genossen und alle paar Tage einen Ausflug in die Landschaft unternommen: Vulkane, Wasserfälle, Tempel, Schildkröten-Babys freilassen, Delfine beobachten - alles gut erreichbar.
Der Service war einfach klasse: es wurde an alles gedacht - sogar Autositze für unsere drei Kids organisiert. Essen, wann und was immer wir uns wünschten. Die Kinder freundeten sich mit dem Staff sehr schnell an und verschwanden dann immer mal für einige Zeit in der Küche oder im Baumhaus. Wir genossen die freie Zeit :o)
Das Haus und die Außenanlagen sind ein Kunstwerk der Architektur.

Unser Aufenthalt am Landhaus Santhi

Unser Besuch zum Landhaus Santhi war gerade aus dieser Welt heraus. Die Position des Landhauses konnte nicht besser sein. Der ganzer Personal war einfach wundervoll und für unsere jede Laune wurde, sogar unten zu den Massagen gesorgt, die wie gefordert getan wurden. Das spezielle Abendessen auf dem Strand, der mit den Tänzern komplett ist, war fantastisch. Nichts ist zu viel Mühe für den reizenden Personal und die Bilder, die Sie auf die Web site sehen, sind sogar besser, wenn Sie ankommen. Dieses Landhaus ist in einem Himmel, der Position geschickt wird und wert die lange Reise, zum hier zu erhalten. Wir haben bereits angemeldet, um 2009 zurückzukommen.
