Reviews of Property: Apartment in picturesque glacier valley of Lauterbrunnen.

We are a family of 4 with 2 young boys who stayed at this property for 9 nights in June and July 2009. What a great find! the location in Lauterbrunnen was perfect as it was only a few minute, easy walk to the shops and train station. The unit was well equipped with everything to make our stay pleasant. Our communications with the owner were easy and he promptly responded to all our questions and concerns (and we had quite a few) and he was flexible in letting us add a few days to the standard rental period of 7 days. The new addition of wireless internet was a great benefit as it allowed us to get info and stay in contact with home via the internet.

The bedroom setup, although tight for space with all the beds set up, was good and allowed us to all sleep on nice comfortable beds and to not have to use the pull out couch that was there as well.

Overall, for those looking for a comfortable place in a great location, we felt this was a great choice.

Propbably the best apartment we have ever stayed in.The facilities within the apartment were excellent and the view from the patio was wonderful.
It is within easy reach of all of the shops and there is a bus stop just around the corner. I have recommended this apartment to all of my friends and we will certainly be staying there in the future.
As the restaurants can be expensive we decided to cook all of our meals in the apartment and eat outside on the patio overlooking the Staubach falls and listening to the stream. Perfect.

I have to say this was our best holiday ever. The house itself is in the midst of some of beautiful and stunning scenery. All the rooms overlook a Waterfall. The house itself was very comfortable to stay and we enjoyed every bit of the facilities provided. The instructions given to us was very precise and clear. I would not have any hesitation to recommend this place to my friends and our family are also considering to come back to Ey Hus next year.

We have rediscovered the beautiful village of Lauterbrunnen in recent years and have spent a summer week staying at Ey Haus for 3 consecutive years. The location is great with a bus stop almost outside the door. The walk to the station takes about 10 mins although it is up hill. It's convenient for the shops, and the Horner pub where one can enjoy a pint, and a very reasonably priced BBQ after a hard days walk.

Ey Haus is clean, cosy and comfortable and the views from the balcony up the valley are amazing whatever the weather. Evenings spent in are particularly enjoyable watching some of the old videos that are available.

We stayed in this apartment for two weeks in May 2007 and had a really enjoyable stay. The apartment itself is clean, cosy and well equipped, making it an excellent base for exploring this incredibly beautiful region. Village shops and train station are all within walking distance which, if like us you are visiting without a car, is a must. Trains, buses and cable cars will get you to most places around here and the possibilities for hiking are endless, with breathtaking views everywhere. Would thoroughly recommend.
