RELAXING AND SCENIC VILLA HOLIDAY

JDM Brentwood
Review Submitted: August 26, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
We spent a super week in this villa and wished we had been able to stay for a fortnight!
We slept in the very comfortable beds, (in villas we have rented previously they have been hard as a rock) with lovely fluffy pillows, we didn't need copious amounts of sangria to get a good nights sleep.
Very peaceful surroundings only 10 minutes drive to the nearby towns. The pool was great and the outside entertaining area came in very handy. We would recommend this villa for small families (like us) who value their privacy.
We found the villa well equipped and clean and tidy on arrival. Would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation to others.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Villa Roxanna!

Review Submitted: September 11, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Villa Roxanna! We loved the
privacy, the
views and the villa itself!
Thank you again for your kindness - particularly on the night we
arrived
without even a bottle of water -
the supplies you gave us were very much appreciated. It was also very
nice
to meet you and put a face to the name.

Our daughter was a little bored at times as it was too hot for her to
be outside
all day and it was brilliant to have
the DVD player on hand. However, it would have been great to have
been able
to access some children's
SKY channels! Also a hairdryer would have been beneficial.

We felt that the villas could have done with a mid-week wash out -
especially as the little black berries
seemed to be carried everywhere. We felt that at £1700 for the week,
this
service should have been in place.
The villa was very comfortable, especially the beds and sofas!

We would definately recommend the villa to others - indeed I already
have!
We were so impressed with Mallorca
that we do intend to return next year and will consider renting the
villa
again!

Very many thanks again Jamie

Our Mallorcan Holiday

Review Submitted: August 18, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
Hi Jamie

Just to say a huge Thank you for our wonderful holiday in your gorgeous villa! We really loved our stay there and everything worked perfectly for us (apart from my booking a hire car in La Palma, Tenerife rather that Palma Majorca!) with the villa and swimming pool. The kids were in the pool all day every day and the adults drank rose at the table for hours....!

Many, many thanks and hopefully we will be back again next year..!!

Regards
Lisa

Villa Roxanna review

Jane49 Cotswolds
Review Submitted: July 27, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
Dear Jamie

We had a fantastic holiday. The villa was just in the right place, close to lots of places to visit but quiet enough to enjoy the peace and not have to tell the children to keep quiet in case they upset the neighbours all the time!!

The outside of the villa was superb - lovely garden to just sit and relax in and the pool was also lovely, although it was not quite warm enough for us to use it. We met your gardener and his wife took us on a walking trip for a day which was brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed that. Just one small moan - the villa could have been a bit cleaner, but I know I am very fussy!!!

Thanks for a lovely holiday.

Villa Roxanna

Kilp Solihull
Review Submitted: July 14, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
Our family has just returned from a one week stay at the beautiful Villa Roxanna. The villa is set well off the main road up a winding track, this can be alittle dicey in the dark but you get used to this. The pool area is ideal if you have younger children as there is a seperate small pool area. The view is stunning and the lights from Puerto de Pollensa and Alcudia are gorgeous of an evening. The decoration within the villa is exceptional, alot of thought has obviously been put into the quality of the furniture and bedding etc. I have stayed in a couple of villas previously and the furnishings have been nowhere near as good as Villa Roxanna. The villa was very clean and tidy upon arrival and the outside area very well maintained. We have visited Puerto de Pollensa previously and this resort is as welcoming as always. I would highly recommend Villa Roxanna as the perfect getaway for a small family who want some privacy with excellent local amenities.

Fantastic stay

our stay in Villa Roxanna was simply "FANTASTIC". I think, that were our most relaxing holidays ever.
The villa is furnished tastefully, we enjoyed the pool, the view over the bay of Pollensa was great and the weather was beautiful.
One day there was no water in the villa, but Gordon solved the problem immediately. Unfortunately my English is so bad, that we couldn't have much conversation.
If there is anything to improve at all at the villa, then we suggest to put a small table on the veranda. It would be nice having breakfast in front of the villa.
My girlfriend and I want to return definitely to Villa Roxanna, but I don't know if this is possible next year.
Because of the WiFi I would be able to do most of my work from Mallorca, so I can figure to have a longer stay next time.

First MajorcanFamily Holiday!

Family Dino Lancashire
Review Submitted: September 5, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
We had a fortnight in the villa in June and early July. It was perfect for us, a lovely, clean, spacious villa with lovely gardens, pool and surrounds. The air con was a blessing! The privacy and views were just perfect for us and only 10 minutes to the close towns of Pollenca & Alcudia. The only change we'd make is to either take out the TV or install a full sky package, the signal was lost every evening. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the villa, booking was easy, directions perfect and the hosts on site were most friendly and accommodating and discreet. This villa would be perfect for families with young children.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your kind comments. I have already arranged for the full sky service to be installed for next year, and wi-fi is already up and running. I'm really pleased you had a nice holiday, and thank you for taking the time to review the villa!

Happy hillside holiday

Review Submitted: June 12, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2008
We had a lovely 2 weeks in this villa.

It is perfectly situated on a small hill with beautiful views over the bay. It is a private villa along a very quiet track with just a few other houses nearby, including a farm and some friendly sheep. It is a short drive to the picturesque towns of Pollensa and Alcudia and also the slightly more touristy but still pretty ports of Pollensa and Alcudia. Both towns have market days which are worth visiting, there is a water slide park 5 minutes away, some outlet shops close by (Camper) and a vineyard with wine tasting. We also spent a day in the capital Palma (only 40 mins drive away) and had a lovely time - it's a beautiful city.

There are a range of restaurants near by all very baby friendly. There's the usual tourist fare and the owner of the villa will give you a sheet with more recommendations on - we took his advice and had some lovely meals.

The villa is very simply decorated and was clean and tidy: white washed walls, white bed linen and no clutter - fabulous!

There is a lovely shaded outdoor eating area and plenty of sunbeds. The pool is not heated, but was fine for swimming most days (we went in May). We took our 8 month baby in the pool and he loved it. In a year or too the baby pool will be perfect for him and we plan to return.

The kitchen has most things you need although we missed a few utensils like a potato masher and serving dishes - but the usual crockery etc is all there. We also had to buy a few things to get ourselves started eg soap, washing up liquid, washing up cloths etc which we weren't expecting but not the end of the world.

There is a CD and DVD player but no satellite. I recommend you take some DVD box sets with you if you plan to have some evenings in.

Our contact couple lived in a house next door and were helpful but not intrusive. eg. there were a few light bulbs missing and they got them replaced the same day.

We plan to return to this villa again in the next few years as we had such a lovely and relaxed holiday - not bad going with an 8 month old!
