the description given for this property was as described.
i stayed there 14 to 21 june 2009. i am in my mid 40 and my daughter and friend aged 27. the facilities in the house are excellent anything we needed was available and having a large fridge freezer to keep water cold and ice cream when temperatures reached 38 C. the pool is literally outside back gate and the girls called it their private pool as most days there was no one else using it.packed too many clothes as usual washing machine and clothes line excellent. we lid out on our sun beds in front of house most days and cooked in the evenings and ate in the cool verandah in front which was protected from sun all day.
main strip with restaurant and bars 10 mins walking although i hired a car for the supermarket trips quite a distance when carryiny 8 litre bottles of water. the la zenia walk is a must it is breath taking along the edge of coast and we did this most mornings early because of the heat.
i will definitely return to this property and my daughter and friend say the same. everything was excellent.

I have just arrived back after 3 weeks of mainly sunshine which is fantastic in January / February when the snow was on the ground at home.I nearly didn't book this villa having read the previous review which I feel was totally unjustified and did not do justice to this lovely villa. If you are wanting a relaxing home from home holiday this villa is ideally situated. It is far enough away from the main road but near enough to the beach and all facillites. The villa is clean, well equiped and maintained and although I didn't use the pool I am sure it will be lovely in the summer. It is easy to walk to the local market where it is possible to pick up details of free trips by coach. The local bus goes from the bottom of the road and gives access to Alicanti and other resorts along the way.A lovely holiday and I intend to return

Review of Pretty Villa in exclusive development

Review Submitted: August 4, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
We arrived at the villa for a weeks relaxation and to get away from it all - it was perfect for this. However a few things marred our stay and we won't be returning:
As with all flights arriving we landed quite late in the evening and it was dark when we arrived at the villa, only to find there was no welcome pack in the kitchen- not even a bottle of water to keep us going until the morning. This meant we had to go and find a supermarket open at 11pm in an area that we did not know. Having read the advert small print it does say a welcome pack could be arranged - we should perhaps have been asked if we wanted this or a bottle of water could be included.
The air conditioning in the main bedroom didnt work, we were promised it would be fixed all week, I understand everyone did what they could however it was not acceptable in the heat of July.
Air con is only in the two bedrooms - not downstairs which makes the communal areas extremely hot. The advert details air conditioning in the list of faclities however we were told it would normally be chargeable, surely this should be listed as being payable locally?
All in all the apartment was in a convenient location which we could not fault, but feel it is looking a little tired and not to the usual high standard of properties on this site. The price does not reflect this.

Hi Diane
I am writing to tell you how much my friends
and I enjoyed our stay at your villa in La Zenia .
Your villa is well kept and is comfortable and very
well equipped, Although we didn't use the pool in
February we could see how useful it would be having
the swimming pool so close to the villa. The villa
is very central to both La Zenia and Cabo Roig
without having to hire a car and had everything we
required for a great holiday .We thoroughly enjoyed
our stay and my friends and I will return next year.
I would recommend this villa to any one who want a
nice relaxing holiday.
Many thanks from Judith (from Rugby)

My family and I have just returned from a week in this villa and I can honestly say that after many years of holidaying in Spain, this is definately the most tranquil spot we have found. The villa is excellent in amenities, cleanliness and cost. It literally felt like home from home. The british neighbours were both friendly and helpful. Restaurants and shops are only 10 minutes stroll from the villa and the spotless beaches are within walking distance. At La Zenia beach the restaurant next to the La Zenia hotel is excellent value for money and the staff exceptionally friendly. The villa owner is one of the nicest people you could deal with and the same can be said for the contact in Spain. I would (without any hesitation) recommend this property to anyone who likes a peaceful holiday with all amenities within easy reach. I have been back in the UK for 2 weeks and already booked again for 2009.

Review 14 Colinas de la Zenia

This villa provided us with an excellent family holiday. The villa was clean and airy and quite adequate for our needs. The small residential site was quiet and people we met there were very friendly and helpful, particularly the lady who looked after the property for the owner. It was an advantage to have the pool quite literally on our back doorstep, and the spacious garden and terrace to relax in. Our children particularly enjoyed the pool; our son learned to swim as it was so quiet they almost had exclusive pool use!
The location is excellent, being very close to several lovely beaches, and very useful to have shops, including a large supermarket, close by. It is very useful being near the main N332 road for going up and down the coast, and we particularly like visiting Torrevieja for it's colourful market stalls, bars and Park of the Nations for the children, and Murcia, which is a wonderful unspoilt city off the tourist trail. A day trip to Guadalest is also worth the drive as the mountain scenery is spectacular.
I would recommend this property to anyone and we hope to revisit in the future!
