Fantastic Family Holiday Location

Spent 2 brilliant weeks here in October.
We have 2 young boys (4 & 9) and as far as family holiday locations go, Casa Katrina takes some beating.
Complex in a great location with easy access to beaches, Papagayo National Park and Marina;
- Good selection of restaurants in the Marina which were very well
used. Excellent food and service
- Mountain biking in National Park was fantastic. Trails to suit all
abilities and plenty of bike hire shops
- the beaches are great, but we didn't use them much as the pool
area was so good. It was spotlessly clean and the pool was big
enough to actually swim in - a real bonus
The house itself was immaculate and furnished with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you've got young ones, I'd recommend you take some DVD's, as although there is Sat TV, we usually landed up using the DVD player.
Small supermarket on the door step which was more than sufficent for daily needs and bigger ones within easy access for car / taxi.
There's a Car Hire place next to the Supermarket and we did hire a car for a couple of days, but the kids were always happiest at the pool and that's where we spent the majority of the time.
A super holiday, which exceeded all expectations. We'll be back next year - we've still got lots to see !

Hi Christine & Michael
Arrived home yesterday from a wonderful holiday at Casa Katrina. The house had everything required for the perfect holiday and was immaculately presented. Not always easy keeping a family of five happy, including 2 teenagers, but the extra room available in a house compared to a hotel room is invaluable. The pool and pool area were also spotless and cleaned on a daily basis. House in a perfect position to see the local area and we had wonderful walks with stunning views to the Marina Rubicon and further to Playa Blanca town.
Playa Blanca and surrounding area including the Marina Rubicon are very nice with a good selection of restaurants, however restaurants in the Marina are a little expensive because of the poor exchange rate with the Euro at moment. Tipico Canario and Jumbo Chinease (next to each other) on the seafront in Playa Blanca old town were our family favourites.
Well worth hiring a car to go to Papagaya beaches and Timafaya national park (vulcano's) Also had a good day out in Puerto Carmen.
Many thanks again for a wonderful holiday, the house, pool and surrounding area exceeded all expectations. We would recommend this to anyone planning a trip to Lanzarote.

This property really is a hidden gem.
It arguably enjoys the best position within the complex. It is maintained and equipped to a very high standard whilst the owners readily respond to reasonable requests.
Having just returned from a months stay – the third time in three years - I highly recommend Casa Katrina.

We recently spent a wonderful week with friends at your lovely house. The house, pool and surroundings are spotlessly clean, and the house is well equipped with everything one could need. The view of the sea and the island of Fuerteventura from the house, are an added bonus. We enjoyed many walks along the front to sample the bars and excellent restaurants. The house is perfectly situated, as it is only a short distance from the beautiful Papagayo beaches and the marina. We will certainly recommend this house to our family and friends.

We have recently spent a week at this lovely property and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is fantastic and fully equiped to suit anyones needs. We loved the coastal walk to the marina, where there are plently of bars and restaurants only 5 minutes walk away. Or for more of a stroll, it was also a lovely walk along the coastline to playa blanca centre, where there are a wide range of restaurants and bars.
The pool and around the pool area was spotless, and a nice place to lye after a walk.
The beaches at papagayo are fantastic and did not get overly busy, so perfect for a relaxing afternoon in the sun.
We would recommend this holiday for any age group, who would enjoy a quiet and relaxing holiday. We are both in our 20's and would definately go back. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Thanks Chris and Mike

We really enjoyed our week at this house. The setting was splendid, and the standards were really high, with all necessary equipment. We will recommend this place to families and friends.

Wir waren für zwei Wochen zu fünft in diesem Haus. Alles hat reibungslos geklappt. Jegliche Fragen übers Mail wurden umgehend beantwortet.
Wir haben ein sauberes, schönes, gut eingerichtetes Haus vorgefunden. Die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Im ganzen Haus hat es alles, was man braucht. Der Pool direkt vor dem Haus wird jeden Tag gereinigt. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Alles nötige ist in Gehdistanz.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und verbrachten dort wundervolle Ferien.
