Our best ten days

We arrived in La Manga with three daughters (6, 4 and 1.5 years old). Such a large family must be a challenge for all types of accommodation but the apartment coped with it. We enjoyed the view, the luxurious equipment, the location, briefly, everything.
I must say that this location on the La Manga Strip is ideal for a large family. Both the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean Sea are near (appr. 100 and 200 meters). The beach is clean and cleaned every second day. There is a supermarket nearby (important with kids). Other advantage of the apartment is that it is located on the Northern side of the Tomas Maestre Port far from the crowded 'entrance' of the La Manga Strip, having no other large apartment buildings around. Consequently, the neighbourhood is calm, the traffic is moderate.
If in La Manga, we decided not to miss such places as the Alhambra in Granada and the Mezquita in Cordoba. It is a nice 2 days trip, app. 1000 km by car.
When in La Manga, there is no headache where to find a good restaurant. The beach has the ‘Estacio Playa’ and the Tomas Maestre Port offers a lot of restaurant, cafeterias and bars nearby as well.
Briefly, I can recommend this apartment to everybody but especially for large families. It accommodates 6 persons in three bedrooms very comfortably but there are two more places in the living room if necessary. The advertisement is true: ‘a view to die for’.

I stayed here between 13 Jun/22 Jun with my wife and this is my review:

Great place, good conditions, excellent view, although its in th e 14Km of the Manga. If you wanna visit other things in the Manga strip you better have a car. The beach is cool and its very near the apt. The Mar Menor is quite good. The supermarket its 2 minutes by foot. The zone its calm. If your looking for rest..this is the place.

We stayed in the apartment for 6 weeks. The apartment is beautiful and very well equipped. The beaches are very near and perfect for sun worshippers and bathers. the Pool area is not ideal, as the one allocated to our building is in the shade all the time, consequently the water was very cold at the time we were there. (Sept and Oct.) The other pool, is lovely-- with loungers available, but unfortunately was closed on the 1st Oct.
I wouldn't recommend it to holiday makers without a car, unless you want a really relaxing holiday, eating in most of the time, because the local buses stop running at 8. 30 and taxis seem to be very expensive.
All in all though, it is a fabulous apt , very clean, maintained well and in a beautiful area.
Supermarket, 100 metres away is excellent and very well stocked.
The local restaurant Casa Paco serves good food and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
The Beach bar was closed beginning of Sep.

This place is paradise - as simple as that.

The moment when I stepped onto the balcony and saw that jaw dropping view will stay with me for an awful long time. The emerald green of the Mar Menor and the crystal blue of the Med (yes, you have 2 seas to gaze over) combined with snaking strip of land between the two, is one of the most beautiful views I have seen. And it can be seen from the lounge and all 3 bedrooms.

The beach (which was on our doorstep) has a little wooden beach bar serving sangria and tapas. The beach itself was not crowded, so we could have our own space. We hired jet bikes from the nearby Thomas Maestre port and whizzed along the coast from beach bar to beach bar. There is the opportunity to scuba dive on the strip ( a scuba school has recently opened), go on boat trips, explore the local markets, and even whack a golf ball or 2 in a vain attempt to stay fit.

There are some great restaurants nearby, with great seafood and paella. We had a number of meals out - sitting on the beach, dining on glorious seafood and watching the amazing sunset spill its pink and red hues over the Mar Menor.

The nearby Thomas Maestre port (walking distance) has dozens of different types of restaurants and bars and is really lively at night. Great fun!
I found the cost very cheap for what we got, the service and communcation with the owner excellent and really appreciated the personal touch when we got there.
The flat itself is very spacious, classy and has all mod cons in place.

One of the best things about this place was the fact we could do whatever we wanted - if we wanted a quiet night, we bought a load of ingrediants from the supermarket (200 yards away) and had dinner gazing over the stunning view, or if we wanted a bit more action we would wander over to the bars at Thomas Maestre harbour.

This was one of the best holidays I have had for a long time, took about a million photos of the views. And I didn't think the whole experience would be so cheap.
Am definitely going back again. And again and again.

Wonderful Holiday Apaartment - Murcia

This is a wonderful flat to stay in for lots of reasons! If you are after a calm beach holiday - there are 2 beaches right on your doorstep... The supermarket just next to the apartment is really convenient as well - perfect if you don't fancy venturing too far afield.

The local area has plenty to do - if you fancy a change from the sun or beach, there are loads of sights and markets to see. The restaurants along the peninsula offer a great range of views and food. There are some fun bars as well.

The flat itself is great, cool when you want it to be, an excellent balcony (we pretty much lived, ate and slept on it!) and has enough space for everyone to have some quiet time if needed, but big enough to accommodate everyone when we wanted to eat and socialise together. We're all foodies and were very happy cooking in the kitchen, it had everything we needed.

This place is an all rounder, great location, good local amenities, wonderful views, lovely beaches and a wicked flat!

Can't wait to go again!

After a holiday in this apartment you will arrive back home and regret not being able to see the views that you have experienced from this wonderful apartment, when you look out from your own windows.
You will forget about all the other attributes of the apartment such as generous room sizes , comfortable beds and relaxing furnishings.
Gone from your mind will be the generous facilities and the well equiped kitchen, underfloor heating and air conditioning.
YES, all you will remember are the fantastic views of the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean glistening on the East side of the Manga Strip !
You are well placed close to the Tomas Maestre Marina with plenty of resturaunts and bars and only feet from unoccupied beaches.
We highly recommend this well positioned apartment for anyone wishing to experience the Mar Menor and the Manga Strip
