Just returned from a great week in Nice and I can highly recommend this apartment. Situated in the Old Town, it is literally 2 minutes from the bus station & tram stop. The beach and market place are a leisurely 10 minute walk through the heart of the Old Town. You also have dozens of restaurants & cafes to choose from too.
The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable. We had 4 staying and had plenty of space and never felt on top of each other, which is important for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen has everything you could want, dishwasher, cutlery, fridge/freezer etc. Also has a washing machine, and space for you to hang clothes. If you want to spend a night in, you have dvds and a comfy lounge.
One of the best things about booking this apartment was dealing with Iain. He was always quick on email response, and returned my security deposit within 1 day of the holiday ending. He also has a guidebooks for you to use in the apartment plus an information booklet for the apartment and local area. It is a definite plus to deal with someone who knows what they are doing and has taken the time and effort to make your stay a good one.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this apartment and the Old Town of Nice in general.

Heart of old town

A perfect base to explore Nice and all its surrounding areas. We totally enjoyed our week there. The apartment was very affordable and perfectly based within the heart of the old town. The old town is my choice as to where to stay in Nice. It has so much character, restaurants, markets and night life and all being only a few minutes walk to the beach. Highly recommend this place. Bus station is very close which helps. Travel to places like Monaco or Carne, Saint Paul Vence by bus for 1 euro one way. Don’t miss out on seeing the town of Eze.

Very comfortable apartment, clean, tidy, in good condition, everything you need is there. Iain and his local agent are a pleasure to deal with. However, it is the location that sets this apartment above others. 2 minutes walk from the bus station, 2 minutes walk from a tram stop which links to the train station, 2 minutes walk to the supermarket, 10 minutes pleasent walk through the Old Town to the beach and the market. Excellent restaraunts, bars and shops close by. Definately recommend this apartment to anybody.

Central, clean and very comfortable

Iain's apartment was exactly as it was described on the website. It was also lovely and quiet, when we visited in March. (Looking at the photos of the apartment now, I wish I was back there! Hope to come back soon.) Perfect holiday, made even nicer by the affability and helpfulness of the owner, nothing seemed too much trouble. The location was superb we could walk everywhere in the lovely sunshine, and sit near the splashing fountains. Even the traffic noise in Nice itself seemed muted. The apartment is well organized, airy, spacious and well equipped; we loved hanging our washing out Naples-style from the windows. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend.

Everything about this apartment was excellent. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Nice. Location was superb - within walking distance of local markets, bus station, port, restaurants (oliviera is a restaurant not to be missed), supermarkets and beach. Apartment was very well equiped with everything we needed for a great holiday for two adults and a toddler. There are a few flights of stairs up to the apt but these didnt cause too much trouble, even with a buggy. Iain, the owner, was very helpful and efficient in all our dealings. Thanks a million.

We have just returned from seven days in Nice. Having previously lived in Nice I would recommend this apartment without hesitation. Very comfortable and extremely well equipped, we all immediately felt at home. It was clean and really had everything we needed for our holiday.Its location is ideal and you are just a short distance from the central bus station and the tramway. Shops and restaurants are literally on your doorstep. We booked at very short notice and found the booking process to be very straightforward. Iain was very helpful and efficient. I really cannot fault any aspect of our whole experience and we would definitely return.

Just had 2 brilliant weeks here (June 2008). We like to go to Nice every summer and this is a lovely apartment with great facilities in the best location of any we have stayed at. We want to be back there - NOW!!

Iain was more than helpful with answering my many questions about the apartment and Nice in general. The apartment was very well located to all the attractions, including lovely restaurants, within easy walking distance. The apartment had everything you would need and items you wouldn't normally expect to find to make the stay very pleasurable. As we didn't have a car, being so close to the bus station was very convenient.
Highly recommended to anyone wishing to base themselves in Nice.

I spent five days in the apartment in Feb 08. The apartment was well situated. The property was very clean and well maintained. The owner ( Iain ) was very helpful when i made the booking. I will be back in 2009 for the Tour. The apartment has excellent facilities and i would definately recommend!
