Relax and enjoy the view

We had a wonderful week! What we liked most about the house was the stunning view on Soller.
The owners made us feel welcome, but also let us have our privacy. The house is nicely decorated in a modern style and is fully equipped. And within 15 minutes walking distance of the center.

get-away in style

We stayed at Casa Tranquilidad first week of September and enjoyed every day of our stay. The little casita is perfect for a couple (although my mom and I felt completely comfortable as well).

The hearty welcome (food in the fridge), the casita as such, with all the little thought through details (bath & body works toiletries, beach towels, DVD’s, books…), gave us a week of total relaxation that just felt like home.
We would however definitely recommend the rental of a (small!) car, as the road to the casita is quite steep and narrow.
We loved the seclusion, but yet the proximity to town and would definitely come back for another stay. We hope we will have the chance to do so very soon!

The Perfect Choice

The Casita Tranquilidad is a comfortable beautiful house with a private swimming pool and absolutely stunning views.
The house is pristine clean throughout, and has recently been renovated with style and a thoughtful attention to detail.
Big comfy couches, flat screen T.V., a brand new kitchen with all
new appliances and a lovely dining area.
The airy bedroom has a big comfortable new bed with quality
linens, pillows and covers, and the en suite shower room has
sleek elegant fittings.
There is air conditioning, but also a modern wood burning stove
- no doubt for Winter evenings. Maybe I could return then and
try it out ?
There are wonderful views of the mountains, and at night the winking lights of Soller are magical.
When I was at home - and that`s how it felt - I had lunch at the table
under the big shady palm tree on the pool terrace, and wow what a view ! For me it was `centre stage`surrounded by the majestic
Tramuntana mountains and looking directly down on the lovely
old town of Soller with it`s cobbled streets and Cathedral Square.
The beautiful Botanic Gardens are situated just a short walk down the road from the Casita and are well worth a visit. Wander on into Soller
and try the good food served at the many restaurants on the always lively and entertaining Square.
Afterwards cross the Square and board the scenic train to central
Palma or the shorter app.10 minutes trip on the open air train to the
beach and the magnificent Port of Soller. Both trips are a must.
There is also an excellent and frequent Bus service to and from
the City of Palma and also to other places of interest.
With so many wonderful things to do and see - go enjoy it all -
I certainly did !!

A Perfect Villa for 2 with Pool

NewMum Maidenhead, Berkshire, UK
Review Submitted: September 14, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
We wanted a private villa just for 2 adults and our 4 month old baby - but we also wanted to be near to a town that we could walk to, near to the beach, and also wanted a pool and we wanted to be located in a traditional area, not full of tourists and tat! It was a lot to ask, plus we wanted a view - but we thought that would be asking for too much! But, do you know what, we found it! Casita Tranquilidad matched all of our requirements. The property is furnished so well and it has so many extra touches that just make it really special. Bread, milk, wine and lots of other treats on arrival, contemporary styled rooms, fluffy ralph lauren towels and pillows, torches for the bedside table, 'Bath & Body works' toiletries. ...just everything has been thought through. The owners of this property must be well travelled as it felt like staying in a luxury hotel, but with your own kitchen and pool. The pool area has a lovely palm tree (and umbrella) for shade and there is a very fancy gas bbq for evening entertaining. The road up to the casita is very narrow and very steep - by car or by foot - but we managed it with a pushchair every day - as we chose to walk into town rather than drive. The town of Soller is typically european with the main square home to a couple of restaurants and cafes. A short tram ride takes you to the port where there is a gorgeous bay housing a harbour full of luxury yachts...again, lots more restaurants and life to watch. A train ride from Soller takes you over the mountains into the city of Palma - well worth a trip for the views on the way but also Palma is a great city. Will definitely be telling all our friends about Casita Tranquilidad - it was a brilliant way to spend our first holiday with our baby, yet without compromising any luxury or style!

stunning property

Stayed here first week in August. Description does not do justice to this beautiful property. Views are stunning. The casita is extremely well furnished and very clean and comfortable. The pool is to die for. Owner had left food in fridge for when we arrived which was much appreciated as we arrived late on the saturday evening. We stayed the second week in a four star hotel in Port de Soller and it was not near as nice as the casita. I would definetely return for another stay.

Make sure to hire a small car when booking this casita.

Ideal Romantic Getaway!

Chaz and Dan Kent, England
Review Submitted: August 25, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
This lovely casita was the ideal getaway for our honeymoon! With its close location to the beautiful, 'unspoilt' Spanish town of Soller as well as being just 10/15 minutes from Port Soller, it was a perfect location. (Although we would suggest car hire for getting up and down the hill to the casita!)
The pool was fabulous, with stunning views over the town and the surrounding mountains, not over looked and with a lot of privacy. The owners were excellent at providing details about things to do, local attractions, directions and generally brilliant at ensuring your stay is as good as it can be! The casita itself has everything two people will need for a week's stay (With a few homely touches, DVDs, CDs, books etc provided by the owners.) It was clean and very well organised and resourced with cooking, cleaning utensiles and so on.
We had a really lovely week and would love to go back soon!
