Best Holiday in Javea

The Chestons Leeds
Review Submitted: September 16, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
If you are thinking of choosing a villa for your holiday book this if it is free. We have stayed in a variety of villas in Javea and found this villa absolutely delightful. The villa has been reformed to a high standard and has a really good factor feeling about it. We absolutely loved the pool area, terraces and BBQ which we used almost daily. The sun was on the pool all day and is very private. The kids had an absolutely brillaint time and loved being able to play their tunes through the MP3 stereo connection. UK television was a huge bonus and we enjoyed both restaurants which we could easily walk to in the evening. All the furnishings inside and out were to a high standard with lots of parasols on the terrace area offering shade from the sun when it was a little bit too hot - no complaints though. We had a great holiday and would highly recommend this to all of our friends and family.

Our summer break in Javea

Boon Pembury, Kent
Review Submitted: August 29, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
We had a very enjoyable 2 weeks at this villa which met all expectations that we had. The pool area is fantastic and in excellent condition - being cleaned regularly - twice a week. The villa has several dining areas, a purpose built BBQ, good sized rooms, and plenty of music and TV if you require. If we had to criticise the Kitchen could do with an update on equipment.

Restaurant wise there are two within walking distance of the villa - of the two we preferred Riu Rau. Very relaxed and great food.

Would certainly recommend to friends.

Pretty Casa Rosa

We love Javea Lancashire
Review Submitted: June 24, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
I booked this villa very last minute for a family holiday and have to say it was a lot better than expected. I wouldnt let the reviews in May put you off this property because we had a fantastic holiday here. We had really hot weather and spent most of our time swimming, sitting and eating around the pool which is very private, quiet and peaceful. The children had a great time with the water guns and inflatables which were here on arrival. We really enjoyed having the TV especially with the football. Being music lovers we had a great selection of music to listen to during the day. Its a lovely traditional villa which has been rennovated very tastefully. Although we didnt need it the property has got aircon in all the bedrooms. I would definitely recommend this villa to all my nearest and dearest. Hope I can return soon!

Our idyllic, tranquil holiday in Casa Rosa

Review Submitted: June 13, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
This is the first time we have booked a holiday home online but not the first time we have been to Javea. I have to say this villa was exceptional value for money. The location is fantastic, quiet, tranquil, private but within walking distance to two excellent restaurants. The accommodation we found to be of a high quality for the price we paid. Both bathrooms have been reformed to a very high standard and we loved the large walk in shower in the en-suite bathroom. The naya overlooking the pool was super. The pool was large and easy for our children to access. This area was also very private. We made use of the BBQ at the rear of the property on many an evening. The lounge is spacious with nice furniture and we thoroughly enjoyed having English television channels. All in all we had a lovely holiday in this villa and would hesitate in recommending it to our friends and family.

casa rosa ma 2008

this was our third stay in javea but probably not the most luxurious villa to date. the villas location is superb ,very tranquil with no traffic noise . pool was fantastic but not heated so only the kids dare go in it on the less warm days ! the villa is quite well proportioned but we did find the second double bedroom quite small. we came away with the impression that a few small improvements inside would make a big improvement - such as,some of the light fittings were very dated, newer ones would make inside much better.we were told instead of using air-con in bedrooms to use ceiling fans but these were covered in vast amounts of dust. all in all we had a vary enjoyable stay in casa rosa ,the points we have made above are very minor and would not deter us from booking the vila in the future.
Owner's Response: There is some confusion with these clients as I have to comment that ceiling fans were pointed out as an alternative to air conditioning and that all remote controls and instructions were available inside the property. The second double bedroom is a standard Spanish size and has a double bed, two side tables and built in wardrobe. You an see from the photographs that both bathrooms have been rennovated and have new light fittings, as does the passageway & kitchen. There are new modern lamp fittings in all the rooms and there are only 5 rustic light fittings throughout the whole of the accommodation. This property has been retiled, painted and fitted with good quality furniture throughout.

our wet holyday in Casa Rosa

Rikkie Noordwijk Holland
Review Submitted: May 20, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2008
Expecting a beautiful week in Spain we arrived in Javea in Casa Rosa. The weather was the whole week cold and rainy so we took only one time a carefull swim in the beautiful pool without chlor!
The house was not so full of luxury as we expected. All the cushions outside were very wet and dirty and half of the gardenfurniture was broken more or less.
The rooms, bedding and towels were good and everything was rather clean.
The kitchen was a little bit poor with gass and oven that didn't work very good and the dinnerset/glasses/bowls were not enough for 6 people. With a dishwasher you need more of everything because otherwise nothing is left when you use the dishwasher.
I think the owner can give more attention to those (littlel but quite important!) things, because the house is very beautifull. The weather can be very bad and we were not lucky this year, bu that's our risk! Next time better.
Owner's Response: If only we could book the sun and heat along with our holiday we would always be in high spirits, sport enviable sun tans and have fantastic holiday memories!. For future clients considering renting this beautiful villa please be reassured that there is a lot of crockery for 6 people and this is now altogether in the kitchen so it can't be missed. The oven is and was working well. There is no broken furniture in the garden and the cushions only became wet and dirty because they were left out in the rain for a whole week. Spain is quite a dry country but when it rains it rains very heavily. The weather is now very hot and sunny and I am pleased to report all cushions have now recovered from their ordeal and are dry. The pool is maintained and cleaned twice a week, I do not understand the chlor comment. Yes the house is beautiful, yes its always very clean and yes the rooms, bedding and towels are more than good. This villa is exceptional value for money and has been rennovated to a very high standard. I am not saying its the Ritz Hotel or indeed Buckingham Palace but it does have a star rating all of its own and is quite beautiful, tranquil, private, idyllic with lots of luxurious elements in comparison to other villas. A lot of thought and care has been put into the presentation of this villa and it has been upgraded to include hot and cold aircon, celing fans (because some clients requested this on feedback forms), a new en-suite, a new family shower room, uprgraded kitchen, new light fittings, extra sun loungers, exra parasols, UKTV, central heating for the cooler months, brand new tiling throughout the whole of the villa, repainting inside and out, garden landscaping, BBQ, new dishwasher and stereo system with Ipod connection plus 100's of CDs ... to mention a few !
