our wet holyday in Casa Rosa

Expecting a beautiful week in Spain we arrived in Javea in Casa Rosa. The weather was the whole week cold and rainy so we took only one time a carefull swim in the beautiful pool without chlor!
The house was not so full of luxury as we expected. All the cushions outside were very wet and dirty and half of the gardenfurniture was broken more or less.
The rooms, bedding and towels were good and everything was rather clean.
The kitchen was a little bit poor with gass and oven that didn't work very good and the dinnerset/glasses/bowls were not enough for 6 people. With a dishwasher you need more of everything because otherwise nothing is left when you use the dishwasher.
I think the owner can give more attention to those (littlel but quite important!) things, because the house is very beautifull. The weather can be very bad and we were not lucky this year, bu that's our risk! Next time better.
Owner's Response: If only we could book the sun and heat along with our holiday we would always be in high spirits, sport enviable sun tans and have fantastic holiday memories!. For future clients considering renting this beautiful villa please be reassured that there is a lot of crockery for 6 people and this is now altogether in the kitchen so it can't be missed. The oven is and was working well. There is no broken furniture in the garden and the cushions only became wet and dirty because they were left out in the rain for a whole week. Spain is quite a dry country but when it rains it rains very heavily. The weather is now very hot and sunny and I am pleased to report all cushions have now recovered from their ordeal and are dry. The pool is maintained and cleaned twice a week, I do not understand the chlor comment. Yes the house is beautiful, yes its always very clean and yes the rooms, bedding and towels are more than good. This villa is exceptional value for money and has been rennovated to a very high standard. I am not saying its the Ritz Hotel or indeed Buckingham Palace but it does have a star rating all of its own and is quite beautiful, tranquil, private, idyllic with lots of luxurious elements in comparison to other villas. A lot of thought and care has been put into the presentation of this villa and it has been upgraded to include hot and cold aircon, celing fans (because some clients requested this on feedback forms), a new en-suite, a new family shower room, uprgraded kitchen, new light fittings, extra sun loungers, exra parasols, UKTV, central heating for the cooler months, brand new tiling throughout the whole of the villa, repainting inside and out, garden landscaping, BBQ, new dishwasher and stereo system with Ipod connection plus 100's of CDs ... to mention a few !
