Perfect pied-à-terre

We've stayed in this apartment twice now. It's ideally situated for the old town part of Cannes, and it's only a short walk down to the sea, and the accompanying bars and restaurants.
The apartment is clean, well maintained and comfortable. Although the kitchenette is small, we found it perfectly adequate for preparing our own meals on the occasions we chose not to eat out (and there is a big market five minutes away, so there's plenty of opportunity to buy your own fresh produce).
The property manager was charming and efficient, and met us promptly when we arrived - Both times we have stayed at the apartment we have journeyed down by train, which is a pleasant trip through the French countryside.
Cannes is an ideal base for exploring this part of France - There are plenty of trains to other places such as Nice or Monaco, and rail travel is far better value than in the UK!
We would also recommend spending time on both the Îles de Lérins - Boats from the harbour leave pretty regularly, and you could easily spend a day on each - They are scenic and peaceful, and a really good contrast to the busy streets of Cannes Ville.

We will definitely be going back again in the future - The apartment owner is genuinely interested in making sure you enjoy your stay, and will recommend restaurants etc. for anyone who hasn't been there before.
