Property was excellently maintained, clean and neat, with excellent bed linen. It gives a homely feeling with all the ameneties that you could need, provided. A variety of information on restaurants and things to do are provided by means of brochures and pamphlets. A beautiful and safe environment for an early morning/late afternoon walk.

Although we arived in a very cold Cape Town the house offered a cozy haven where we enjoyed to just stay in on rainy days. It is very homely and offers everything we needed for our 5 week stay. Diana was a breath of fresh air coming into our house always perky, smiling and very friendly. We had a lovely time there and would highly recommend it.

We stayed already three subsequent years in this house. Every year during a period of 2-3 months. We have booked a fourth time! It is therefore obvious, that we like this place very much. The security and pleasant surroundings, provided by the Erinvale Golf Estate do contribute considerably to this house. As the whole environment with the Winelands, the beaches, the many golfcourses and Cape Town. An ideal place to enjoy this beautiful area.
The house is bordering the Lourensford Wine Estate and has a nice view from the garden on the Hottentot Holland Mountain Range. Privacy is guaranteed and the area around the house is quiet.
The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The bathrooms work all very well and one has a bath as well as a separate shower. The kitchen is fully equipped. The internet connection is one of the big advantages of this place.
Anyway, we love it here and like to be back many other times.

We spend 12 wonderfull days at 5 Erin Oaks. The Villa is perfect - the site - very quite , the design, the decor. We saw the very good influence of the artist Bridget!
Beside of Golf there many posibilities - easy shopping (Sommerset Mal) walking/hiking (Helderberg), Beach (Strand). Of course Capetown with the water front and Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden, Hermanus with the whales etc. Just a very good location.
We like to come again!

Erinvale is an ideal base for all the Golfers out there, exploring Cape Town and the Winelands. The house is very spacious, light and airy, with a natural flow to outdoor living . . . the braai, the pool, the sunshine.
Our housekeeper, Diana did an excellent job and nothing was too much trouble. Everything shined (just like her smile).
It was easy to contact the owners and there is a rep. on site. We were even presented with a Christmas cake (nice touch, don't you think). Clearly they want you to enjoy a pleasant and troublefree stay.
I would recomment this property to anyone looking for the freedom to do your own thing; what you want, when you want. No having to get up for breakfast. No having to vacate the room for housekeeping. No sharing the pool!
You can be as active (or inactive) as you want to be . . just pick up a couple of 'What to do' type booklets at the airport when you arrive and take it from there. Make sure you bring a good book for those days when you want to 'veg' by the pool.
There is just so much to see and do that 2 weeks will pass by like the blink of an eye. Make sure you enjoy every moment . . . .
