Having been to Tenerife many times to private apartments this has to be 1 of the best ones and great location..Had everything you could possibly want (home from home) and so near to the beach and shops.Though so near to everything very quiet complex. The owners themselves which we had the privilege to meet are brilliant.Keep you right from the minute you book. Will definitely be going back and my Aunt and Uncle when we told them are now flying out there next week. What more can I say

Clean and tidy apartment in a central location

Review Submitted: November 10, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2008
We spent a week at this property and thought it was perfect for our needs. It is centrally located, just across the road from the beach. We did not use the pool but we went to have a look at it and it was a good size; there were a few people sitting around it on the sunbeds.

The kitchen and self-catering facilities are very good (there is plenty of cutlery and crockery, a fridge with freezer compartment, microwave etc.). The hairdryer provided is really powerful - not like the weak and wimpy ones you usually get at hotels and apartments!

The TV has 5 English channels and there are notes with instructions/helpful hints around the apartment which were really handy.

There is plenty of room; there is a dining table in the living room, and a sofa which is very comfortable. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Although there is no maid service there is a note in the kitchen with details of a good laundry to use.

The garden area is also very nice and we sat outside a couple of evenings on the furniture provided.

The accommodation is near to nightlife and to restaurants yet manages to be peaceful and we always got a good night's sleep.

An excellent apartment which I would recommend.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 weeks during march/april of 2008. I have to agree completely with all other reviews posted, this is a simple, clean, extremely well located apartment!
The pool could do with some updating and repairing, we noted many broken tiles which could prove a hazzard if you have small children, it also lacked any decent sunbeds (those that were available were broken and dirty). However, with the beach being only 100m away, who needs a pool?!?
My only recommendation to the owners would be to install a double bed in the bedroom, single beds are for single people ;-)
Overall, this is a 10/10 holiday apartment and we would thoroughly recommend this to anyone, regardless of age.

Had a very enjoyable stay for a week in Feb 2008. Weather fantastic, apartment was great and very close to the beach which was superb. Never used the pool as the beach was very close and so good! Apartment as described and very quiet at this time of the year.

Have to agree with the existing reviews:
Easy to find.
Clean/Tidy
Patio/Garden – good size – great for eating outside.
100m from a great beach (so good we never went to the pool).
Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance.
Powerful hot shower.
Nice Kitchen

Would recommend. Ideal for couples of all ages.

Bung Americas Apartment - Playa de las Americas

Review Submitted: December 22, 2007 Date of Stay: October 2007
The apartment was very easy to find, exactly as directed to us by the owners.

The apartment itself was clean and tidy, with everything you could need during your stay. My priorities are always clean bed, clean bathroom, and I was not disappointed. I would have liked more towels, but that being the only minor downside, it certainly did not affect our holiday in any shape or form.

The patio / garden area was a good size, great for your morning cup of tea, or a relaxing evening tipple.

The apartment could not have been more central, the beach less than 100 meters away. A great bar / restaurant at the end of the road with live entertainment every night. Not to mention plenty of shops, bars and restaruants within easy walking distance, so there was no need to eat or drink at the same place any night.

A taxi rank and pick up point for coach tours was just across the road.

This all sounds as if you wouldn't get a good nights sleep for all the noise, which couldn't be further from the truth, the apartment was actually very quiet and we had a good nights sleep every night.

I would certainly recommend this apartment to our friends and family, in fact we already have, and we are planning to return ourselves sometime next year.

My husband and I stayed in this appartment in Nov 2007.
This appartment is in a perfect location, close to all local amenities and the beach. The pool within the complex is ldeal for a quiet day's sunbathing.
There are lots of nice restuarants nearby along with the busy nightlife a 10 minutec walk away.
The bathroom and kitchen have recently been refurbished to a good level.
The apartment is ideal for couples of all ages, offering clean and comfortable living quarters for the week. Excellent value for money!

Fantastic accomodation for those on a budget

We stayed in this apartment early November 2007 and loved it. The location was fantastic, right in the centre of Las Americas, perfect.

Upon arrival we found the apartment very easily. It was clean and bight with a well presented bathroom, new kitchen, seating and dining area.

The bedroom was typical canaries with a dressing table, side tables and a wardrobe. There were plenty of coat hangers and a hair dryer.

The bathroom was clean and had some storage and a nice hot powerful shower. It did get cold after 2 people had been in but heated up really quickly.

The kitchen was brand new and really well equipped with kettle, toaster, loads of crockery and cutlery etc.

The living area had a leather sofa, a TV, book shelf and a dining table with chairs. It was a good size and we never had any trouble with the TV.

The patio and garden area was huge.

It was a 2 minute walk to the pool (Bungamerica is huge), the pool was a little tried but perfectly adequate. It was really peaceful with only a handful of people around it.

The only downside was that there was no maid service but we cleaned up ourselves and there is a launderette 2 minutes down the road.

You get what you pay for but all in all for what we paid I was really pleased. It was definitely value for money and I would stay there again, in fact I am hoping to get in during March. There is no where else in the centre that is as well presented and value for money.
