Our Spain Vacation...

We have many wonderful memories of our Spanish Holiday mostly because of the beautiful home we rented in Rabos a little town of friendly people,. It was the perfect spot that was close to all the best sight seeing, beaches and markets. Jack and Lella home had everything we'd ever need and they had the most interesting stories of thier sailing adventures. I'd go back in a heartbeat...thank you !!!

I really enjoyed this holiday and really miss the homely place! I enjoyed the culture and John and Lella and especily the shop keeper next door. has she moved away to Africa (is that where she wanted to go)? It was my first christmas away and i loved it, just me, my brother and sister and mum and dad! i would recomend this to any body!!!! P.S it wouldn't let me put the date i came so ill give you it in this comment

I stayed here in July 2008 with my parents and a friend from school, and we found it a very unique and charming experience. We had the lower flat and I loved the room carved out of the rock especially. It's a really lovely area and I'd recommend going to see the turtles and water snakes in the water nearby. Altogether it was a great experience and I'd definitely go back! :)

It is extremely gratifying for us, my wife Lella and myself, that Ellie and her family derived so much pleasure from their holiday with us.
The holiday we offer is family orientated. We are parents ourselves - well, grandparents actually.
One side of our village lie the mountain peaks of the Pyrenees and on the other side the sea is not far away.
Girls like Ellie can go for a walk in the foothills or go shopping in the trendy shops in Figueres. Or just lie on the beach. It is a quiet sort of holiday - just right for families.
It is extremely gratifying for us, my wife Lella and myself, that Ellie and her family derived so much pleasure from their holiday with us.

Our short and sweet stay in our little "house in Spain" will be part of our fondest memories overall. Church bells, morning walks, stray cats and meeting two of the most charming and kindest of the 70 residents of Rabos, Lella and Jack , who give anyone the feel that they are home away from home. This locatin makes exploring this region with great ease and fabulous day trips are to be had, especially when little adults are in tow. Thank you once again...20 hours plus two days was well worth the trip from "Down Under". See you next year... Family Crooks

This is our second visit. We certainly enjoy the peace and tranquility of this typically Spanish village - including the church bells! We like the easy access to places of interest such as Roses, Llança, Puerto de la Selva, and Cadaques. Also the close proximity of France, especially charming Perpignan and the great market at Ceret and the lovely seaside resort of Collioure. Thank you Jack and Lella for your friendly hospitality and for the charming and authentic accommodation. We will certainly be returning.

it was wonderful to return to Rabos after five years but this was our first time in this rental and it did not disappoint. Relaxing, romantic and very pretty it served as a cool hideaway from the midday sun. Just up the road from our friends, we were able to pay visits and use our hire car to go further afield to the beaches which are used by mainly local people.
So many places to see and a beauitful place to see them from. Feel very nostalgic thinking about it.
