Just returned from a lovely week in Nice, at this perfect apartment, which I can't recommend highly enough.

Nicola provided us with help and information from our initial enquiry, explaining the location and area perfectly, and answering all our further enquiries.
The apartment is very charming, spacious with a lovely terrace which we sat at most evenings until the sun went down enjoying a nice cold beer and a glass of wine!
There is everything you need in the apartment - everything you'd have if you lived there, and it is well maintained and spotlessly clean.
Within the apartment you are provided with information detailing local transport, attractions and good restauants, as well as information and maps if you want to venture further afield.
There is a great little grocer's shop next to the apartment block - a very nice French gentleman who went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed.
The location is perfect, just a 5 - 10 minute walk to both the promenade des Anglais or the train station, 20 minute walk to the old town, with very good restaurants 2 - 5 minutes away - we particularly recommend 'The Bella Napoli' - a lovely little authentic Italian - excellant food and service, and very reasonable (20 euros p/p)
I can highly recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking to stay in Nice, and I would not hesitate in staying here again next time I visit Nice.

Easy vacation apartment in Nice

It is a very relaxing and easy apartment to stay in. It was quiet, and on high floor which was wonderful because it would catch the well welcomed breezes during the summer. An easy walk to the beach too- 10 to 15 minutes. There is a small market downstairs- great to be able to get the basics of water, milk, coffee near by. The owner is very gracious and helpful which made all of this easy and very enjoyable.

Everything & More!!!

Review Submitted: July 29, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We just spent a week in md July at this apartment and found that it is perfectly situated for everything. No need for a car as the beach and old town section of Nice are a 5 minute walk and the train / tram station is also a 5 minute walk.

The apartment itself has plenty of room. There were four of us and eating breakfasts and dinners on the lovely balcony will be one of many lasting memories. The kitchen is well equipped with all cutlery, glasses, dishes... The bedrooms were quite big with very comfortable beds, plenty of wardrobe space and a good supply of sheets... The bathroom has a very nice shower unit and is roomy as well. Plenty of towels are supplied. It was nice to have the air-conditioner as an option on the humid nights and it isn't too noisy.

The TV was a big hit for our teenage daughters as it came with cable. Next to the TV there was a good selection of cd's to listen to and dvd's to watch. Was a great way for the girls to end the evening before bed. The living room area in general was very comfortable and a pleasure to sit in. All sofa's and chairs are pretty new and big and soft. The dinner table area was very good as the table is quite big and can hold loads of serving dishes as well as place settings.

The building itself is very secure and the residents are quite friendly. There is a tiny shop for wine, fruit...next to the building and bakeries, mini supermarkets and eateries only a 1 minute walk away. The pizza van (2 minute walk) was a massive hit with the girls and cheap - only £5 for a big pizza.

Upon our return we posted the keys back to Nicola and received our deposit back within a few days. All throughout our business dealings with Nicola we were treated with the utmost respect and professionalism.

All in all we were more than satisfied with the apartment. It is value for money and was not only just a place to hang our hats, but a very positive part of our family holiday experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful two weeks this June in Nice, in no small part due to how comfortable and convenient this flat was. The photographs and description are so accurate that I felt I had been there before, when we walked through the door for the first time!

The flat is very spacious, clean and quiet; simply but comfortably furnished. We both love to cook and it was a delight to bring home such wonderful produce and fish from the local markets and cook it in a well-equipped kitchen.

The location is ideal and we walked absolutely everywhere. We also appreciated all of the transport and sightseeing information that Nicola provided; it was very useful in helping us plan our days.

We would love to stay again and I am already dreaming of being back there…

A Perfectly Nice Place

Nice is a delightful location for art lovers. My friend and I spent a week at this terrific apartment this spring. We found transportation (we had no car) very easy. We used the train and the bus to get out of town and were able to walk to the beach, the market area, and to the Chagall museum, as well as the main square in Nice. We thought the apartment well set up for guests, with a washing-machine!!! I enjoyed bringing home fresh food from the market to cook after a long day of sightseeing. Eating breakfast and dinner on the balcony was relaxing. The property is well-maintained with a local person who provides good service if needed. I have already determined to return and have recommended this apartment to friends.
We went to Vence and St. Paul de Vence by bus. Easy! To VilleFranche by the local train - a truly enchanting village on the sea. We took the little touristy train up to Le Chateau in Nice and had a very good pizza for lunch after relishing the views of the city. There are many places easily accessed by public transportation which we were not able to squeeze into our week - so I would say there is plenty to do for a couple of weeks with no car.
The unusual blue of the sea was mesmerizing for me...and a perfectly good reason to return.
The apartment has internet hookup available but it is not really needed as there are many Internet Cafes within easy access. There is a DVD player and a raft of DVD's for evening entertainment if you choose to resist the temptation of the Cours Salaya at night. The beds were great - everything was great - we really loved our stay.

Visiting Nice with young children

Review Submitted: May 15, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
We stayed in this appartment in April 2009, and it was excellent. Unfortunately we arrived at the time of the day where restaurants do not serve anything, but there was a pizzaria nearby, making pizzas with fresh vegetables etc. (unlike those in Denmark...). Travelling with 2 kids (3 years and 10 months of age) we were happy to find what the locals called the best playground in Nice just around the corner - and ice cream shops as well. We can only recommend this appartment - also to people travelling with kids.

April holiday

Review Submitted: May 10, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
Our party of 3 adults stayed in the apartment for a week end of April. Having visited Nice before and thus being able to make comparisons, we can highly recommend the apartment. It is very conveniently located - less than 10 mins walk to Promenade des Anglais, not too far from Vieux Nice and only 5 minutes walk to the train station. The property itself was spacious, clean and very well equipped and contained lots of information about activies, attractions and restaurants in the area. It has a large west facing balcony well suited to summer evenings. There are several shops and supermarkets in the area and good restaurants very near for the evenings you do not want to venture too far afield. We would be happy to stay in the flat again for our next visit to Nice

Our party of 4 stayed in Peter and Nicola's flat for a week after Christmas 2007. We enjoyed the lay-out of the flat and all the amenities provided. Decor, linens, crockery etc all of a high standard. Everything worked - the shower was brilliant and the kitchen a pleasure to cook in while chatting or listening to music. The weather during our stay was disappointing - quite rainy - so we appreciated the comfortable sofa and range of DVDs. It's in a good location - lots to see within walking distance and easily accessible from the train station or airport bus stop.
Friendly little shop next door very handy for basics. No hesitation in recommending this flat.

This is a bright, spacious, clean, well-equipped apartment in a quiet location. There's lots of information about the local area in the apartment. It's close to a supermarket and it's only a 10-minute walk to the train station for trips further afield. The Promenade des Anglais is also just a short walk away and you can take a leisurely stroll to the city centre and old town, or if you don't fancy the walk there's a bus stop close by. The Russian Orthodox church is only a few minutes walk away, well worth having a look at.
