Alta Oura Apartments

Fantastically located apartment, very well maintained and equipped
Owner is very helpful and uses a friendly helpful courier in Harald
This is our third stay in the apartment and will booking a fourth and the owner continues to improve standards including air-con and comfortable beds

Had a brilliant time staying at the Alta Oura apartment, Harald was extremely helpful and was available on hand if we had any problems which fortunately we never.. The apartment was like home from home with lots of extras that you would not normally get from booking with a holiday company, It was spacious and comfortable. The location is great, not far from the beautiful old town with its great restaurants and pubs and only a ten minute walk to the Strip with its variety of pubs.
I would recommend Cocunuts 2 a great pub just off the Strip if you are travelling with children, it offered entertainment for the children and the adults so all were happy.
There is plenty to see and do in Albufeira but would advise to go to the Zoo Marine , but one tip , buy your tickets before you are going from one of the kiosks as you will usually get them cheaper than paying at the gate.
Overall I would recommend this apartment because of its location and great facilities.

had a great 2 weeks in this very large and comfortable apartment , plenty of good restaurants on the strip 5-10 mins walk. most nights got 3 course meal for 4 people with wine for €50. janette can get you a good value transfare from airport. harold was very helpful.

A really modern well-equipped apartment. 5 of us stayed there, all adults.Bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance with an added bonus of a bakery around the corner providing fresh bread daily.Spacious balcony with a utility room at rear of apt providing washing and drying facilities. Would recommend highly to anyone wanting to holiday in Portugal.Too hot when we stayed in Aug.

The accomodation at Altaoura was fab. Very spacious apartment with lots on offer. Kitchen has plenty of utensils if wanting to cook and great washing facilities available. Great for washing your beach towels. The Old Town is 15 mins walk but taxi's are so cheap (3.90 euros) one way. The Old Town has lots of bars & restuarants on offer. They have restuarants over looking the beach (wonderful view) you do feel your on holiday!! The Strip is 5 mins away again lots of bars etc., We prefered the Old Town as it was amazing. Bakery 2 mins around corner from apartment highly recommend fresh bread daily. We visited Vilamoura beautiful but expensive recommend taking taxi 15 euros each way as bus was 14 euros each way and took for ever to get there. All in all we had a fab time at this apartment and Janette was very helpful giving advice and Harald was very friendly who collected to and from Faro airport. I would highly recommend the Altoura apartments and hoping to return next year.

apartment fab an abundance of utensils, handy as we ate in alot with small kids was cheaper. although not having oven was a let down but we managed. bed rooms excellant as were bath rooms. we walked to the old town daily kids enjoyed the trek along the beach, and the strip where all the restaurants and bars are was only 5 10 mins away. pool cold although kids went in daily but then its only april. only let down was noise upstairs from other residents who partied till 5 am then seemed to sleep all day, so i didnt get much sleep.weather warm even camme home with a tan which didnt expect, overall good holiday.harold was very good polite and helpful with any problems etc.

We had a great 1 month stay in this apartment, and would highly recommend it to anyone. Well situated for the strip, and within easy walking distance to the old town. The apartment is well equipped, and very spacious. It close to all the main amenities, and good restaurants, just around the corner. We hope to return again soon. Thanks again.

The accomodation is very spacious. The two bathrooms are in need of an upgrade, which is to be done in the near future. There is a small fridge and ice box, and plenty of utensils. Pool area was well proportioned and plenty of sun beds. There is an excellent Australian restaurant close by, which we can recommend. Taxi's are cheap, although you realy need to go to the taxi rank, which is close by. There is a large supermarket within walking distance (Pingo Duce) where you can get all your supplies, also the is an excellent bakers two minutes walk away, highly recommended.
All in all the apartment is very well situated for both the Old Town and the Strip. Personally we preferred the Old Town. It is also cheaper to take a taxi if there are 3 or more of you, than to take the scenic train.
