A great space.......

Review Submitted: August 19, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
From entering the duplex we were instantly impressed. It is immaculately maintained, with a pool attendant and grounds keeper arriving every day.
Dave was there on arrival to give us a quick tour of the property which is even better than we had estimated from the photos. It's a great space to occupy and the ceiling fans served us well during our afternoon siestas. It is very tastefully decorated and has every mod con required-one small gripe was the lack of tv channels for the odd quiet night in. I suggest you bring your own sky card, but do check if this is feasible.
It is slightly out of the main hotspots but as a family with younger kids we loved this aspect. A car is recommended but not essential as you can easily ring for a taxi or hail one at the nearby plantacion del sur hotel.
One of my most favourite places to spend time was on the upper sun terrace which is vast, a great place to barbecue and enjoy watching the sun go down with a cool drink in hand.
All dealings with the owners Peter and Salvina via email was always courteous and efficient. We will definitely book again.
One final mention for Barbara who looks after maintaining the villa, she let us check out that little bit later and was very helpful and a lovely lady. Overall a great and memorable holiday in no small way due to the accommodation.

Owner's Response: Most clients are very happy with the available channels - BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, CH4 and SKY News. But it could be a great idea for people to bring their own sky card. We'll check out the feasibility on our next visit.

Delightful Holiday Villa

Button Moon Ilkley
Review Submitted: September 10, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
On arrival we were pleased to find that the villa lived up to our high expectations. Peter and Salvina were a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end and we would recommend their wonderful holiday home to anyone.
We were met by Dave and Barbara and given a tour round the villa and on the day of departure we were allowed to stay in the property until we had to leave for the airport at tea time.
The size of the villa was really impressive and afforded ample space for the two of us plus our teenage sons. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the upper terrace, a welcome place to cool down after a night out. The lights over the sea, nightcaps, a few hands of cards and the sound of the shearwaters flying overhead are a lasting memory. We would recommend car hire however it is not essential if you don't mind a walk back up the hill after a day at the beach. Taxis from the resort were however reasonably priced at 5 euros a trip.
The Playa Del Duque beach is lovely however sun bed hire isn't cheap, although we knew that from previous visits to the resort.
Siam Park went down well with our sons and if you have a car we would recommend the Siam Park & Loro Parque combo ticket at 35 euros per person
Peter & Salvina recommended a number of good restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Coeur De Filet in the Playa Fanabe area and would also endorse the restaurant and bar at La Hacienda by the Playa Del Duque, a great place for people watching, Sangria and cocktails.
All in all this was a great location for a great family holiday.

RELAXING HOLIDAY

Theoldies London
Review Submitted: November 8, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2008
We stayed in the villa in October and agree with all the complimentary comments made by previous guests. Peter was most helpful in accommodating our dates and David welcomed us on arrival with useful local information. Barbara kindly let us stay on until it was time to leave for the fllight home. Three of us are well into retirement but found no problem with access etc. A car was essential for us. We would have liked to see the comments of previous guests about restaurants and places to visit. An excellent villa in a good location and we would like to come again.

A wonderful relaxing week at Bellamar

Emmafb Hertfordshire
Review Submitted: November 5, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2008
We have just returned from a fantastically relaxing week in the villa. The complex is clean and the villa had everything we needed. It is modern and clean, with comfortable beds. The area is is easy to get around although we found having a car useful as is quite hilly.
The area is surrounded by grand 4 and 5 star hotels so is therefore a bit classier than Los Cristianos and Las Americas. Del Duque beach is peaceful and the sunbeds are a very comfortable for a long day at the beach.
We enjoyed eating in La Caleta, with the sea lapping up against the rocks and watching the sun go down.
We also had a great day out in Siam Park and definitely got our moneys worth from the day.
Overall we would definitely recommend this villa for the area, location and comfort of the facilities. Thank you for all your help. We'll be back!!!!

2 Adults and 3 children had a fantastic relaxing 2 weeks in this property. Expectations were certainly exceeded. Wonderfully quiet location but within walking distance of the busy town centre and seafront. Great views. It was a pleasure to deal with the owners who provided everything that was expected. Thoroughly recommended.

Great place to stay

Review Submitted: August 25, 2008 Date of Stay: December 2007
We stayed for 1 week for the New Year 2008 and had a brilliant time. the villa is very well equipped and very well decorated with high quality furniture and fittings. the top terrace was fantastic for barbecues as it has its own sink and water supply as well as a built in barbecue. The views of Gomera were fantastic and sitting there watching the sun go down with a gin and tonic or two was just the right thing to do at the end of the day. I would highly recommend this villa but would suggest hiring a car as it is a little way back from the coast. It's a great walk down into Adeje but a long walk back up the hill, especially after a meal and a few drinks!!!

Ideal Location with Sea Views

Happy Mum Derby
Review Submitted: May 11, 2008 Date of Stay: April 2008
We prefer a quieter location and this villa was ideal. We had mountain views from the master bedroom and superb sea views from both terraces, which we had not realised from the description. The villa was really spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The kids loved the pool and at the times we visited we were the only family using it. The villa felt like a real home from home.

Beautiful sunny terrace; stunning views

Review Submitted: April 21, 2008 Date of Stay: March 2008
We booked the apartment having been sent numerous photographs and comprehensive details by the owner.
we were not disappointed - WOW!
We took a short walk to Del Duque beach but on this occasion the weather was very windy all week. However we were saved by the gloriusly sunny sheltered terrace with its build in BBQ and great views.
Most afternoons were spent here with numerous drink watching the beautiful sunset over the island of La Gomera!
We also enjoied the recommended restaurants, we particulary liked Pisces at the nearby fishing village of La Caleta and also Castellano.
We will come back again!

A relaxing holiday

petal Warwickshire
Review Submitted: February 12, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2007
My family and I stayed in June 2007 and we had a brilliant time. The property was just as the description says. The accommodation is over two floors and provides privacy for families. We took our daughter, son-in-law and their daughter and we were able to be on our own or be together as there are two terraces.

A brilliant place to stay. Definitely need a car as the villa is out of town but there are plenty of car parks near the front of Costa Adeje. We will be booking again soon.
