Great location with wonderful open views, an ideal spot for exploring the island. The villa was better than we could have wished for, with all the home comforts and exceptionally clean. The gardens and terraces were very well cared for and the pool was very well used by all the the family. The owners were very helpful and would happily recommend the villa.
Owner's Response: Many thanks. It is important to us to know that all went well during your visit to Villa Callisto.

Welcome anytime!

Villa Callisto - 21.09.09 until 28.09.09

Review Submitted: October 7, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
Wow!!! Villa Callisto exceeded our expectations in everyway...beautiful location, superbly kitted out, Margaret and John were amazingly helpful!! Sarah was very kind and helpful too!
Our highlight was the pool.....we arrived at night and to see it all lit up and to think that it was all ours for a week was a real joy!! However, we only had two days of sunshine so for the rest of the week we had really, really miserable weather.....that was such a disappointment...I can't begin to tell you!! Therefore 'bitter-sweet' times at Villa Callisto!! Such a shame!! J&R xx

Immaculate, well equipped villa with beautifully maintained gardens and pool. We had a fantastic family holiday, the children especially loved the pool. A car is essential but great to visit the rest of the island which is within easy reach. The owners couldn't have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble, the car hire company they recommended was excellent. We have stayed in many villas and Villa Callisto is by far the best! We will certainly recommend this villa to everyone, and would certainly like to go back one day.

This was our first visit to Corfu we came looking for a place to wind down and recharge our batteries, which we certainly found.

Villa Callisto is situated in a very peaceful location with spectacular views to both sides of the Island although; it is just a short drive to shops, beaches or restaurants. The gardens are beautiful, which at the time we stayed were filled with all sorts of birds and butterflies. There is lots of outdoor seating on the terrace and around the pool so they are easily enjoyed. The villa, and pool, were spotlessly clean and it has all the amenities you could want.

We have rented villas all over the world from Thailand to Tobago and Villa Callisto rates as one of the best - so much so we are planning to return next year.
Owner's Response: Thank you so much for this lovely review. We are just back from Corfu ourselves after making even more improvements to our pride and joy. We look forward with pleasure to your return, as you are always welcome at Villa Callisto.

Villa Callisto is all that the owners claim it to be and more. The location is excellent offering a combination of seclusion, panoramic scenery and convenience to all the facilities that holidaymakers need;beaches, restaurants, shops.airport and Corfu town itself.

The villa is superbly furnished and fully equiped with everything anyone could need on holiday. There is clearly a passion for cleanliness which is evident both internally and externally. The standard of maintenance generally is exremely high.

Nothing is too much trouble to the owners whose priority is to ensure that their customers enjoy their stay at Villa Callisto.

I would, wholeheartedly, recommend Villa Callisto and look forward to returning in the near future.

Well done to the whole team. Bill
Owner's Response: Many thanks for your kind comments, ITS ALL TRUE!

Look forward to your return.

From the initial booking Margaret couldn't have been more helpful. She gave details of the car hire company and everything went smoothly. We were very impressed with the villa. We couldn't have asked to be in a more beautiful home with such breath taking views. Everything has been thought about very carefully. Marc and I haven't stopped reccomending Villa Callisto to our friends and family. Thank you Margaret and John for everything.
Owner's Response: Many thanks Hanna & Marc... Hope to welcome you to the house on the hill again soon!

Great location, everything provided for a fantastic relaxing holiday. Fastidiously clean and well maintained villa. Views over surrounding hills / countryside and out to sea are what you can expect from the villa's balcony.
Car is nesacary but well worth it as it also allows you to visit the local greek villages and beaches which are the best on the island. If you want to stay away from the "British" resorts and want to experience the real greek life, then this is the best place to stay.
We had brilliant weather in mid October with clear blue skys every day.
Will definately return to this villa.
Owner's Response: Many Thanks, it was a pleasure to have you at the Villa Callisto, and we are delighted to hear that you will return!

Taking the winding track up to Callisto from the main road, you tend to think a lot about some of the more disappointing holiday locations that you've stayed at over the years and how that some discriptions can be, lets say, a little short on accuracy.........
Villa Callisto is nothing short of stunning. Standing in the driveway on arrival, our two boys, my wife and I just stood there for what seemed like an age just grinning at each other. The villa and gardens are outstanding with loads of space, immaculately maintained and equipped with everything you might need. Margaret and John have considered every need possible and their attention to detail made for what was without doubt our favourite family holiday to date.
The views from the hillside are breathtaking and gave a real sense of seclusion. We hired a car for the duration and although this was a must, the villa could not be more ideally positioned to explore the island, nowhere on Corfu seemed "too far away"......and what better way to unwind after a busy day doing not a great deal but to relax in or around the superb pool which was well used every day by us all. especially Harry(9) and Ben(6).
There was plenty in the local area with what we thought were some of the better "sandier" beaches on the island and the fantastic information pack at the villa was very comprehensive and pointed us in the right direction for good restaurants and places to see and visit. Aqualand was firm favorite with our two, giving them some great memories.
I would not hesitate in recommending Villa Callisto to my friends and family, in fact, I already have.
Our sincerest thanks to Margaret and John for sharing with us your fantastic home and their staff (especially Sarah) for making our stay very special.
Hope to return one day.

Great Holiday Villa

This is a great place for a private break in a nice modern clean Villa tucked away up a hill with fabulous views.

The outside terrace, patio areas and pool are a delight and the local cleaning and service provided is excellent.

Recommended for all, but you must have a car to get about to shops and restaurants etc.

A great holiday location!
Owner's Response: Always do our best to make sure that you have a good holiday! We do have a great team who keep the villa and its guest well looked after. Many thanks for your very kind remarks.
