First class accomodation. Loved the pets, trips to the farm to see the animals & 'free range' eggs ! Location ideal even for day trip to Milan & Bologna. Venice easily accessible as was Lake Garda & skiing on Monte Baldo. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here & definitely would like to return, especially around grape picking time. Many thanks for all the great tips on where to go for wine, cheese etc. & for your wonderful hospitality

Excellent accomodation & superb hosts. Nothing is too much bother. Phil & Silvy know the area so well & their suggestions for trips were very helpful. A really relaxing holiday. Hope to make a return trip in the near future. David, Isabel & Gordon Alexander

The Mulberries Review

Mulberries Traunstein, Germany
Review Submitted: November 1, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
Gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung, alles vorhanden (Küchenutensilien etc.).

Unser Sommerurlaub 2009

Review Submitted: September 13, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009

Absolutely perfect familiy holidays

We spent 12 great days in the house of Phil and Sylvi and felt very welcome from the first moment. Our 4 kids enjoyed the large garden and - of course - the fantastic pool at the main house.

Thanks for that beautiful holiday experience!

An oasis in the Italian countryside. This location has everything. In easy reach of Vicenza(architecture),Venice(history),Lake Garda(scenery),but you can have lazy days by the pool or exploring the farm,on foot or bycicle.
Phil and Silvi do everything to make your stay memorable.Their suggestions on the best places to eat and visit are inspired. The apartments in a 400 year old barn are extremely well fitted.Congratulations on what has been achieved. We are already planning our next visit to explore Verona and Padua and to sample the restaurants we missed this time.

Beautiful farmhouse apartment

My family spent a blissfully comfortable and calm week at this beautiful apartment. The setting is perfect and it's like staying on a huge country estate - electric gates, long tree-lined drive and stunningly restored house - we were so impressed when we arrived! In spite of all that splendid isolation, it's also surprisingly close to lots of shops and great places to visit.
The inside of the house lived up to all expectations and was very well furnished and equipped - beds already made up for us when we got there, something we've never found previously in any self catering holiday lets! Great gardens with a pool and trampoline, barbecue and outdoor dining if you want it, plus more pools on the other part of the property.
The icing on the cake - the owners! Waiting for us when we arrived, full of local knowledge and helpful stuff (like which restaurant to go to when part of our family staying nearby arrived to visit) and such a lovely family!
They have done such a wonderful job of restoring this house, it is definitely a place which we will visit again and would recommend very highly to families and couples of all ages.

I must be honest...when my husband told me we were going to Italy for our 31st wedding anniversary and that we would be staying on a 400 acre farm...I thought he was joking but agreed to go because I like him so much. Not only do I like him but I love him. He seems to know exactly what I need after 31 years. It truely is one of the best vacations I have ever been on. Close to all of Northern Italy's history and prime vacation spots between Milan and Venice. The area is spectacular and I am not ashamed to say there were sites that absolutely took my breath away. I would be safe to say we have found our home away from home in Italy! Thank you to Philip and his wife as they are the perfect host.

Real Taste of Italy

This is an excellent location for touring all the major attractions of this area, Venice, Verona, Lake Garda, and Gardaland (Italy’s biggest theme park) to name but a few, we even visited Galleria Ferrari at Maranello. The farm was a wonderful retreat, the apartment was huge, beautifully furnished and very clean. The boys (10 & 12) enjoyed playing in the pool and feeding the animals, whilst we enjoyed sampling the local wine and cheeses.

Phil and Silvy are excellent hosts, nothing is too much trouble and their excellent knowledge of the area meant we got so much more out of our first holiday to Italy. Although they had a farm to run, they always made time to chat and eat with us, they are great company. We had a brilliant family holiday here and would have no hesitation on recommending it to family and friends.

A Taste of Italy

I would highly recommend the farmhouse in Italy for a perfect vacation experience. Our family enjoyed relaxing on the patio drinking coffee, playing with the pets and jumping on the trampoline. The more adventurous ones spent time hiking. Our hosts provided plenty of info for things to do, pointed us towards wine and cheese shops, gave us fresh eggs, cooked pizzas with us in the outdoor oven (perhaps the highlight!) and invited us along to eat at the local festival under the tent. Perfect for day trips to Venice (don't miss it), Padua, and Vicenca. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, the house was clean and well maintained and we couldn't have had a better time. We would highly recommend this property and can't wait to return. Thanks Sylvie and Phil.

Großzügige & sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung

Karin & Hermann Deutschland
Review Submitted: April 24, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
