Our recommended visit to nice was excellent value, cheap short flights from the uk. To a lovely climate with a good variety of tasty cuisine and healthy friendly people. 0ur 2 bed Bell Vue apartment located on a hill was first class, very clean and furnished to a high standard with all comforts . fully fitted kitchen, bathroom spacious living room and balcolny great for enjoying the tranquil panoramic sea and mountain views,or short bus ride to city center or short trip to cannes or st.tropez so relaxing did not even need to use the pool, to much to do in a short space of time, our next visit will be longer, and we may even try the Buffa 1bed apartment
in the city centre which we visited in a quiet block located on the 2nd fir. With lift access so I will be able to bring my mum everything on your door step plenty of shops. Restaurants and patisserie with delicious cakes and sandwiches and minutes walk to sea front ideal for long walks which we enjoyed. There are numerous activities for every one to enjoy, the choice is yours eat in or out, city centre or relaxing in tranquil surroundings pick your apartment and enjoy.

Fantastic Apartment in an unspoilt location

St.Lucie St.Lucia
Review Submitted: August 20, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
Just returned from our long awaited vacation in Nice France, we had a relaxing and romantic time at this world class Apartment in an unmatched location all I can say is Wow, wow, wow
I want to say it’s once in a lifetime trip, but I REALLY hope that it’s not once in a lifetime because I want to go back!!
We had a unique and relaxing getaway. I would definitely say that both criteria were met and exceeded! The views are amazing, listening to the sounds of nature, swimming, sunning, and enjoying my solitude.
Our pool and room was much bigger than expected. Rooms at the Apartment are spacious. The rooms are extremely roomy and spacious with slick, posh decor. Very sophisticated looking. The beds were amazingly comfortable.

No matter where you're looking, beautiful vistas surround the architecture; celestial terrace to the Niece, beauty surrounds you. It’s quite surreal.. To my delight, I was wrong. The sights are absolutely jaw dropping, pictures make the Apartment look great, and being there makes it look even better

In short, the Apartment is an absolutely jaw dropping place that I wish everyone could experience at least once. Yes, it is in expensive, but and the experience was well worth it. It was truly a special experience that I can only hope to recreate at some other point in my life

Monaco Grand Prix 2009 - Fantastic Location

Neil Mags Joe and Haydn West Yorkshire, UK
Review Submitted: June 13, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
Family of four (two boys aged 13 and 10) had a fantastic time in this beautifully appointed apartment. The location for access to Monaco for the Grand Prix was simply the best, the boys had a day that they will never forget! The owners have thought of everything here. It was a real home from home - WITH the sunshine! The apartment, complex and the pool are immaculate. Although it was half term holidays in England, the local schools were not on holiday - therefore the pool on the majority of our holiday was almost our own. Like previous reviews, there were some people around the pool (mainly on the weekend)- the majority of these were french who were polite and friendly. The location of the apartment requires that you have a rental car. Accessibility to the property from the airport is excellent, the relatively close proximity usually comes hand in hand with aircraft noise, however, the property is nowhere near any flight path. Finally we would like to thank the owner for all his assistance and helping make our holiday a special one.

Best ever rented

The apartment is exactly as described. Especially the kitchen is very well equipped. There is a spacious dining table in the comfortable living room, only German and English TV channels missing. In the living room you find a very helpful collection of tourist information and maps in English. The apartment is situated in a very quiet environment. One hears only the traffic of the neighbors, especially of those using the garage entrance right below the apartment – the garage door makes a prominent sound when operated (several times during the night). The residence in general is very clean and well kept, has nice flower beds, enough parking space and is well secured. It’s not a tourist residence and mainly inhabited by local French people, which was a nice surprise for us. As there is no local manager, the keys have to be delivered and sent back by mail from/to England, the cleaning money has to be left in the apartment. Both was no problem at all in our case. But the refund of the deposit was. Although the deposit was immediately debited from the owner’s bank account, it arrived at our bank account 23 days later after several inquiries. In the end it turned out there was a mistake at the bank in Nice. This apartment was the nicest holiday accommodation we have ever rented. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the review of belle Vue apartment. I am glad you enjoy the apartment. The bank was notified as soon as we received the keys. As you know banks make mistakes. We try our best to refund our clients with in 10 days after the keys are rerurn.
Thanks again.

Great holiday at Belle Vue

We have just returned from a fantastic week at this property. It is situated in a residential complex about 10 minutes' drive from the centre of Nice. The complex is very secure with remote controlled gates at the entrance. There is a lovely swimming pool on site which was very welcome on the warm sunny days we enjoyed there.
The apartment itself is fantastic. Clean, well equipped and tastefully furnished with extremely comfortable beds. There was no noise at all at night which was particularly welcome for us.
The owner of the property was very easy to deal with and very fast with responses to queries.
We hired a car for the duration of our stay and I would say that this was essential for this property.
We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely apartment, too far without car

Review Submitted: July 18, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
Our first visit to Nice with 2 teenagers - apartment is lovely, clean, well appointed in gated complex with secure pool area (situated at the bottom of a very steep drive). However, relying on the information of only 3 kms from the centre of town plus good local bus and taxi services (and not minding using our feet as we are walkers) we were very disappointed with the location in relation to the public transport - hence the reason for the average rating. The local bus service past the apartment is not very frequent, doesn't run on Sundays or public holidays (as we found out on Bastille Day). The taxi service in Nice is quite frankly pretty appalling for the 5th biggest city in France - there is only one main number to call, you don't seem able to book a taxi if they are busy, they are expensive and erratic in their charges, for example, a taxi from Carras to apartment (about 3 kms) anything from 15 to 25 euros, from half way along Promenade de Anglais to apartment at least 35 euros. Buses stop running extremely early (last one to right outside apartment is 8 pm), last main one we needed from town to Carras on a Saturday night was 8.40pm(!), taxi from town 'not possible' is the quote we were given (they just didn't want to know, we tried 5 times for a taxi, they hung up on us every time) - we had to walk from town to the apartment which took 1½ hours, completely spoilt our evening especially as the last part from Carras to the apartment is uphill and steep and takes 45 minutes. On the last night in Nice, we made a point of checking all bus times so we were back in plenty of time to catch the last No. 73 bus for 9 pm (which stops only 2 stops away from the apartment and is a bit more frequent than the No. 65 which stops outside the complex) only to be completely unsurprised at that stage to find it didn't even turn up - fortunately, we actually managed to get a taxi that time.

We found having an unreliable taxi service forced us to rely on the bus timetable which cut our evenings very short unless we wanted the long walk home and this put a real damper on the holiday, By the way, the tv channels are all French so make sure you take dvd's (as fortunately we did) to keep yourself and the kids entertained on those early evenings in.

On the plus side, the weather was wonderful, pool lovely and not crowded - visit Nice old town, Eze and Monaco (fabulous), owner was very helpful when contacted.

Highly recommend this apartment - if you have a car.

Owner's Response: I recommend to all my customers, when they book our apartment, to hire a car from the airport. I also give the bus details to all customers. The bus time table indicate the time the busses are running.

Tranquil Setting

Review Submitted: April 13, 2008 Date of Stay: March 2008
Having just spent 8 days in Nice, our first visit, I would have to remark on the choice of accommodation. It may be a bit too far from the centre if you don’t have a car but that compromise is well compensated by the comfort. My family, which included my wife and our two young children, were very much at home in this well appointed, very clean two bed apt. The views are quite stunning and the setting is very tranquil. Above all however, the bed allowed us enjoy a restful sleep and would, in our opinion, be the most comfortable, outside of our own home, we have ever slept in. Believe me when you have done as much walking as we did you appreciate that small luxury!! Do stay here, but take a car.
