Reviews of Property: EXTREMELY LUXURIOUS 2 BEDROOM WITH STUNNING TERRACE IN EL DUQUE (DEL DUQUE)

We have just returned from a weeks break staying with my sister and brother-in-law. This lovely appartment is very spacious and comfortable with all the trimmings and amenities as advertised. We had a very relaxing break which was made extra special with the spacious terrace and sun deck with lovely views of the sea and mountains. This is our second time at Terrazas del Duque 2 which is in a lovely quiet residential area with all amentities within easy walking distance. We highly recommend this appartment to anyone who appreciates luxury and quality surroundings. We will definitely be returning.

PPS:try the golden hands restaurant opposite the Jardin Tropical Hotel.
It looks nothing but what good food and service.

Also dont bother with carhire ----buy a bus pass from a shop and get massive discounts on fares and the bus service is brilliant.

The interior is very comfortable, reclining chairs, tv, dvds etc. There is a full size kitchen with hob, oven and fridge/freezer and full range of cooking utensils that make it possible to dine in should you wish. The terraces in this apartment are fabulous, one for sunbathing and one for relaxing under the shady pergola, reading a book, dining or looking out to the fantastic sea views. It was a pleasure to meet Daniel, Dominique and their daughter, we hope to return again next year.

This was our first holiday in Tenerife, and we were determined to see the wonderful scenery the island has to offer. We hired a car to see the spectacular El Teide volcano area and the North West of the island. To be honest though, the car stayed in the indoor car park for quite a lot of the two weeks we were in Tenerife because the apartment is so spacious and has such a brilliant outside space that we were quite happy relaxing in the sun, or under the pergola, with frequent walks to the local shops restaurants and beaches.
This is a truly wonderful apartment. The owner’s description and the other reviews are not exaggerated. Dominique and Daniel take great pride in this apartment as it used to be their home. The self-watering plants in the outside space have been well conceived to give beauty and privacy. Inside there are many ornaments and other personal items, making the apartment feel like a home.
The El Duque ll building is very impressive, and security is first class. There is a key for the outside door and a remote for the garage door. The building is in a very nice area with 5 star hotels nearby. There are so many restaurants to chose from, we couldn’t try them all, but if you want to blow a hole in your wallet, get dressed and try the Hacienda in the Gran Bahia Del Duque Hotel. At more modest prices but with lots of choice and good service, try the Banana Restaurant & Pizzeria overlooking the beach.
Finally we would both like to thank Dominique and Daniel for their warm and friendly welcome, and for giving us a holiday which we will always remember, and will certainly want to repeat.

Just back from two weeks in this amazing apartment. It was great to be greated by Daniel on arrival and shown around the complex. Booked on line with no knowledge of the area but as other reviewers have said the apartment and the complex itself are great. It is in a lovely part of tenerife, we all felt very safe there. We had 2 children 5 and 7 and the loved the pool area which has plenty of sunbeds, umbrellas and is very safe for the kids. It is so quiet at the pool that it is like having a private pool. The apartment is so well equiped it is unbelievable, and brilliant if you have kids as there are dvd.s and pool toys etc.

The size of the balcony is great and also the fact that it has a pergola means there is plenty of shade. The wall is high enough to be save for the kids on the balcony. The apartment itself is very big, very cool on a hot day (unlike many others on the complex), having the internet was a real bonus. We had the aprtment cleaned mid week and it was really well done and a bonus to come back too.

We rented a car and so it was great to have the car park space. It was very near the apartment and underground so the car was always cool when we got into it. Uness you intend driving around the island you won't need a car as the taxis are very cheap and there are a lot of good places to eat in walking distance.

We will definatley be back to this apartment.

Beyond Imagination

Dear Daniel,

We enjoyed a beautiful holiday in your fantastic apartment with our family.
And unless the pictures we saw on the internet site it is true that the reality is far more impressive.
The wonderful balcony with its splendid sea sight, the spacious living with its tasteful design, the ultra modern kitchen, and the comfortable bedrooms, the garage with remote control and last but not least the very exclusive swimming pool on the top of the complex .
Me 51, my wife 50 and my three daughters, (13, 17, and 19), are unanimous, this is the best holiday residence we stayed ever.
And all this is on walking distance, to the most beautiful beaches and promenades of Tenerife.
At last we thank you for the very friendly and personal welcome (with even the right names of each of us)

Just wanted say a huge thank you for all your help during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for you and we wanted for nothing. The apartment was beautiful very spacious and very clean and very quiet. We took my mum with us who is disabled and it was perfect for her.
We have been to the El Duque area several times but we have never stayed in such wonderful accommodation. We will definitely be coming back Well done
