Very efficient service from the owner!

Review Submitted: October 6, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
We had a fabulous week at Sea Pearls. The villa is perfect for 2 couples sharing, with privacy afforded as necessary. A car is necessary for shopping and to visit the beach, but a taxi is cheap and easy to order to visit either Kyrenia, Ozanckoy or Bellapais Abbey in the evenings, so no drink driving dilemma! (Try the Cypriot wine, its not too bad!) The owner was ultra efficient in every way.. from arranging transfers/car hire to supplying essentail and useful information and returning the deposit speedily. The villa itself was very clean and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Reni the property manager was also efficient, perhaps on occasion visiting too often, but I'm sure a polite assurance that all is well would deter such regular visits. She made us very welcome and was there for our deparure too. Having the facility to remain at the villa until close to flight times was a huge advantage and meant our last day was totally relaxed and not wasted sitting around at airports!
Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your review. Glad you liked the efficient service (our aim is always to take the stress and worry out of holiday preparations and transfers) and delighted you took the opportunity to explore the villages around the villa (they are beautiful) and the local harbour (Kyrenia). Pleased that Sea Pearls fitted the bill...

Holiday Heaven

Review Submitted: September 11, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
This villa was in an ideal location to explore the TRNC. Paul, the owner, gave us lots of information from when we were initially looking at properties right up until our arrival.
We flew into Larnaca & Paul arranged a (v reasonably priced) taxi to meet us at the airport & take us across into the North. Despite initial worries as one of our party had an Indian passport, the border crossing both ways was easy - the taxi driver sorted it all whilst we sat in th air conditioned car.
The villa itself was wonderful, nestled on the hillside, it got a light refreshing breeze. The pictures give an indication of what it's like but in reality it's even brighter & spacious. A/C in all rooms was most welcome in the August heat although we did restrict use to night time only.
The 4 bedrooms were all very well proportioned with plenty of storage for everyone.
Satellite tv had just been installed but we rarely watched it - most evenings, if we stayed in, we sat on the rear terrace and played cards before transferring to the front patio for some star gazing. And wow - what an amazingly clear sky! The children were fascinated by the amount of shooting stars we saw.
The kitchen is spacious & very well appointed with lots of glasses, crockery, cutlery, pans etc. The fridge freezer was a really good size, meaning we could stock up on shopping & there was plenty of room to store it all.
We took advantage of the washing machine to freshen our clothes & in the August heat, they dried within an hour - perfect for travelliing light.
The pool was amazing - a really good size & well maintained. The whole family spent as much time in the pool as out. Plenty of loungers & umbrellas for shade & there was nothing nicer than grabbing a book, pulling a lounger up to the massive jasmine bush & just chilling, with that heavenly scent wafting around you.
Paul did advise us to get a car for the duration of the hols & we'd agree with that. The walk into Dozankoy village is 10 minutes & about 20 minutes to Lemar supermarket. The hill coming back up is a killer in the heat although probably manageable at more temperate times of the year!
Reni, the property manager was most helpful & living just round the corner, you're safe in the knowledge that there's somebody close by if you should run into any problems.
This didn't feel like a holiday rental, more like we'd been invited to stay at a friends house & certainly the best villa we've ever stayed in.
Owner's Response: What a lovely review and the comment about 'staying at a friend's house' was so nice. We are so pleased you enjoyed Sea Pearls and made the most of all it has to offer. Reni (our property manager) was particularly pleased to get a mention. Kind regards

Sea Pearls Villa Review

Review Submitted: September 8, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
Fabulous villa in a beautiful location, with the best pool we have come across. For anyone planning a holiday in Northern Cyprus, Sea Pearls really is the perfect villa. We planned to do a lot more sightseeing, but lounging around the pool was just too tempting!

During the day we enjoyed the tranquil location, spectacular mountain views and views over Kyrenia, and most evenings we took a taxi down to the harbour - lovely setting, good restaurants and enough going on to keep two teenagers happy.

Thank you Paul for all your help and the local information you provided, really thorough, and much appreciated. Likewise, Reni the Property Manager was very helpful in answering any queries we had. We visited Bellapais Abbey on Paul's recommendation - definitely worthwhile, and a stunning setting for an evening meal, and the local DVD shop was a massive hit with our two teenagers!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Sea Pearls, and would have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending it for a great holiday.
Owner's Response: Thanks for the lovely review - we always aim to please and glad our advice and help proved useful.

A lovely lovely holiday!

Review Submitted: September 6, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We stayed at Sea Pearls villa late July / early August (weather fantastic). The owners kept in touch in the months prior to the holiday and gave loads of useful advice. The taxi picked us up at Larnaca and we arrived at the villa stress free. Villa was big inside and the pool huge (used often to cool off) - garden was lovely and the scenery was much much better than the photos!! Sunsets to die for!
Kyrenia was great to visit (loads of nice restaurants and the girls enjoyed cheap CDs and DVDs). Beaches were nice and the gulet boat trip is recommended but spent most of the day by the pool. The property manager lived close by and visited regularly (nice lady / more useful advice).

This is the third villa holiday we have had and this was by far the nicest one. Villa was spotless, fresh and had everything we could have wished for (and airconditioning in every room was great!!!). Certainly on our list of places to come back to.
Owner's Response: Thanks for the lovely review - delighted we could help and pleased it met all your needs and has been voted your best villa experience!!

Where to start? The owner (Paul) gave us loads of info and good advice in the build up to the holiday and the villa was better than we could have expected. Clean and bright and beautiful inside and much larger than we anticipated. The garden was gorgeous and the views are to die for!! Spent most of the day around the huge pool and the evenings at some great restaurants (car is a must!!). The property manager (Reni) was brilliant and popped by to make sure we were fine.
All in all the best villa we have stayed at and a real gem.

Sea Pearls Villa in Kyrenia

D.J . Cornwall
Review Submitted: July 16, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
Recently spent two weeks at the Sea Pearls villa, lovely large villa just as described with a great pool, which we definitely appreciated as it was really hot when we were there in June.
Paul the owner couldn't have been more helpful and gave us lots of tips and useful information for our stay in Cyprus.Renie the property manager was also always on hand nearby if we needed anything.
A car is a must though as the nearest supermarket is about a 25 min walk, fine going down but coming back is uphill and on a hot day exhausting (specially for four over sixties!!!)
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend it .
Eating out is always trial and error when you are abroad but we would definitely recommend a meal at The Ambience Hotel which is just a short drive from the villa and has tables overlooking the sea which was lovely.

How to unwind on your holiday- peace & tranquility

Mac1 Yorkshire
Review Submitted: June 12, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
Its fair to say that the location of this spacious villa encourages relaxing times around the pool. You couldn't find a better spot for peace and tranquility, yet still being close enough to neighbours and Girne if you want people contact and to get out and about. A car is recommended to make the most of your stay, with the main roads out of Girne within just a 4-5 minute drive. There are a few bars/cafes within walking distance if you don't mind the uphill return journey - we certainly didn't and took advantage of these.

The villa itself is very well-equipped with lovely terraces and gardens areas stocked with bright flowers including sweet-smelling jasmine. We found everything we needed, from kitchen equipment to BBQ tools, spare toliet rolls to oil lamps and matches.

The property manager, Reni was friendly and helpful and droppped by a few times to see how we were getting on and to ensure we had everything we needed. Use her knowledge if you elect to stay here as she and her husband have been living in the area for 9 years, so have a wealth of information to share.

Paul, the owner, kept us informed all the way through the rental process, even to the extent of letting us know when he was having problems with the Holiday-rentals web-site in case we were concerned that the dates we had booked weren't showing. We found that rental process worked very well; the best we've experienced to date, because of Paul's interest and support.

Airport pick-ups and car-rental was all arranged by the owner and went according to plan.

All in all a great holiday.

Feedback for Villa

Review Submitted: August 13, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
The phone call the weekend before our stay was appreciated - it added a personal touch which made us feel that the owner was genuinely concerned we had all the info we needed and that it wasn't just about earning money!

We were very impressed with the villa - the photos don't do it justice - it is the nicest villa we have stayed in and extremely clean on arrival.
Owner's Response: Wow! What lovely comments and much appreciated - we always aim to please

Villa in Kyrenia

Maria T Derry
Review Submitted: July 22, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
Myself and my family recently stayed in this beautiful villa. The villa is very well furnished and is very comfortable there were 6 of us in total and the villa was very spacious to accommodate us all. The pool area was great and again lots of space in the outside patio areas for sunbathing and eating al fresco. The views were lovely both of the sea and the mountains behind the villa. The villa was very clean on arrival and we had ample towels and bedding provided. The owner provided excellent service including a great brochure of detials of everyting you need to know about the villa and about the area. He also arranged taxis from the airport and arranged car hire for us, which was great and very helpful when you are travelling with kids! This is a great villa for a realxing family holiday and it is within a few minutes drive of the beautiful town of Kyrenia. The photos on the website don't do the villa justice.
