Reviews of Property: Executive Lakeside home in peaceful setting of Regal Oaks

Beautiful, clean house in a lovely, peaceful setting. The welcome pack had some unexpected treats such as delicious muffins. It was nice that there were essentials in the cupboards as well such as herbs and spices and even marmite! We also found the computer very useful - much better than having to bring our own lap top.

Our two boys really enjoyed the larger than average pool and made friends with the local ducks and squirrels. We also appreciated the buckets and spades and beach chairs as well as the cool box which got used a lot.

The Bradenton/Sarasota area is really beautiful with excellent beaches. Tampa is within easy reach and Sanibal and Captiva, although slightly farther away are well worth visiting (especially if you like dolphins). Watching the sunset from the beach is something we did quite a lot, it seems to be a very popular pastime on the gulf coast.

We enjoyed all the restaurants that we tried in the area. One of our favourites was MacAllisters in Lakewood Ranch. We would also recommend the Mucky Duck in Captiva and Sharkey's on the Pier in Venice.

We enjoyed our time here so much that we wished we had booked two weeks instead of one. We will definitely be back next year and are planning to emigrate to Sarasota within the next few years.

We have just returned from 3 fantastic weeks in this home. From the minute you arrive you know you've made the right choice. The welcome pack is only one of many little touches that make this a perfect base for your holiday. For our time there it really was our home in Florida. Lynne and John have thought of everything their guests could need. The villa is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, great pool, fab location, plenty of restaurants and shops to spend your dollars and we hope to return in the future. We would reccommend this villa and area to anyone. Our stay from the beginning was excellent. Thanks to John and Lynne we were well prepared for our trip. We were provided with an excellent CD of the villa and e-mails in repsonse to our questions of things to do and places to see.
On arrival at the villa we were met by Carolyn who was most helpful and freindly. We also found the welcome pack helpful as we were not wanting to shop on our first night.
The house and pool was brilliant, very clean and well equipped we found very useful the beach gear in the garage and pool toys.
The area of Bradenton is the perfect base for exploring such a beautiful area, we found the people from the Gulf Coast very freindly and helpful, we will sure go back.
Check out the State Parks, rent a boat and enjoy Dolphin watching, or take a sunset crusie in Purto Gunto.
Overall a very enjoyable holiday we would not think twice about returning to this wondeful villa.

This is a most beautiful house in a lovely peaceful setting. The house was very comfortable and clean and more than lived up to the description. Carolyn was very friendly and welcoming and it was just a perfect holiday. It is very well situated for the I.75. and easy to get to from Tampa Airport.John and Lynn were very helpful and quick to respond to any e-mails we sent them and provided excellent customer service. It was a pleasure doing business with them and we would have no hesitation in recommending this property to friend and family. Apart from all the previous reviews we would like to recommend the Miller Dutch Kitchen on the 41. (Tamiami Trail) the service and food was second to none. All in all this was a lovely property in a lovely setting and thanks John and Lynn. We would love to go back. The welcome pack was great thanks.

First impressions are very important and from the moment we entered the villa we knew we had made the right choice. Everything was clean and well presented and there was plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking utencils etc and when we opened the frig the wellcome pack was the icing on the cake.The entertainment systems, TV's, DVD player, Playstation etc were all provided as advertised and the PC was also very useful for keeping in contact with the family at home.The pool and surrounding area was excellent and very well furnished, just the place for eating or just soaking up the sun. We have been renting villas in the Bradenton, Sarasota and Englewood areas of Florida for twenty years and this is the best so far.We were contacted by Carolyn, the local property manager, shortly after our arrival and she was most helpful. The location of the villa is ideal for shopping at the Ellenton Outlet centre, the Red Barn flea market,the De Soto Mall or even St Armands circle. Eating out is no problem either because apart from all the well known restaurants there are many others well worth visiting. A few or our favourites are:- The Peridia Golf Club for Sunday Brunch, The Bluewater Grill with live jazz most nights, The Stonewood grill, two locations, Cortez and University, The Beachhouse and Rotten Ralphs, Anna Maria Island, Hemmingways at St Armands Circle and if you would like an "All you can eat Buffet" go tro the Golden Corall on Cortez The exact locations of all these restaurants can be obtained from the PC. We are very grateful to Lynne and John for letting us share their wonderful home and we have already booked another visit in the autumn.

Our family enjoyed the whole experience of this villa , including the friendly and informative booking process with the owners John and Lynne. We were sent a video CD of the house and excellent directions and information on the villa.

When we arrived it met all of our expectations and more , and felt more like a home than a vacation house. We found it very peaceful sat around the pool and the villa was in a good location to see local attractions , with Restaraunts and Supermarkets nearby.

The previous reviews do not overstate this Villa. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The villa is very well looked after and has all the features you would like. The pool is extremely clean and warm (even in April!). John and Lynne have set their standards and got it right!

We have just returned from a wonderful week in Bradenton. The villa was absolutely perfect. John and Lynne had thought of absolutely everything. The pool was so warm (and exceptionally clean) my boys were in it most of the time. The location was fantastic. With the selection of maps and computer with wireless internet, we were able to book things in advance and plan everything ahead of time. We loved the beach and the men loved the golf and it was always nice to come back to the villa as it just felt like home. We will definitely recommend the villa to friends and will be back ourselves too. Thank you both.
