‘We thought apartment was lovely and very French – so much nicer than other self-catering places we’ve stayed-in in France. Your kitchen was so pristine we were almost afraid to use it’ …M. Fletcher----'We loved the apartment very much and had a great time'...K. Brown----'We go to Nice a couple of times a year and this is without doubt the nicest apartment we have found and it is also ideal situated for all the things you might want to do. We were also very impressed with the furniture and kitchen and bathroom were both of good quality, something which tends to be unusual in rented places'...K. Burridge----'Your apartment was lovely. It had everything we needed. Thank you for providing us with wonderful accomodation for our holiday'...K. Adegoke

Fantastic Apartment - Wonderful Family Holiday!

Greer Bangor, N.Ireland
Review Submitted: November 3, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
First things first - this was a straight forward booking with no unpleasant surprises. The owner dealt promptly with all enquiries, and when we arrived in Nice the directions and instructions provided worked perfectly - an easy start to the holiday!

This is a great apartment in a typically french apartment block on a beautiful tree lined street. It's on the fourth floor - but there is a lift. The descriptions provided were accurate in that you can stroll to the main shopping area in about five minutes (and that was with a 7 year old and a 5 year old in tow!)

For the first few days we used the trams or buses to go to the Promenade des Anglais or the Old Town / Flower Market etc - once we got our bearings it was easy and pleasant to walk. There are two supermarkets within easy walking distance and plenty of restaurants. I also discovered an Irish pub in old Nice which was great for keeping up to date with all my local rugby and football!!

The only comment I would make about the apartment (and it's a minor drawback to an otherwise perfect place) is that there aren't enough comfortable seats if there are more than 4 guests. There's one large settee and a small leather armchair - all of which are fine, but if we were all in, at least two people had to sit on dining room chairs which isn't ideal after a long day walking around shops etc. The bedrooms are airy and spacious providing privacy within your own group.

The DVD library was fantastic for the kids and adults, and we all really enjoyed sitting on the two balconies watching the world go by.

We fully intend to return to Nice and if our party is smaller wouldn't hesitate to stay here again - if we were a party of six, I'd happily stay here again if another settee was in place.

All in all we had a wonderful time and found this apartment to be an oasis of calm in a hecticly busy holiday week.

‘We thought the apartment was lovely and ideal location for travel around and night out. We were also very impressed with the furniture very French!! kitchen and bathroom were both very satisfactory. It would be of benefit if the bedrooms were air conditioned or ceiling fans were present during the summer months.

nice Nice apartment

We stayed here for 2 days and found it perfect for our requirements. It is in a great location and yet quiet because it is in a residential building. It is a 10 minutes walk to the main bus station and to the main shopping street and a 15 minute walk to the old town which is great. There was no air conditioning or fans, which would have been nice, but if you have all the windows open you get a nice cross breeze and its fine, even with the 30 degree heat outside. The only problem with this was that all of us 5 adults got bitten by mosquitos. Two of us were bitten really badly.
The whole apartment was clean, kitchen had everything you require. The best and most important thing was that all the beds were very comfortable - having a good night's sleep is essential when you go on holiday.
Overall, very good and I would definitely stay there if i were to go back to Nice.

This property was very clean and well-maintained.
It was spacious and sunny.Alex, who let's you in is great. It's wondeful having a washing machine and dishwasher
It was about a 15 min walk to the market and 20 min walk to the sea. It was 15 mn walk to Monoprix grocery store on Rue Jean de Medecin--great store. --Great supermarket!
You will need a taxi to and from train station with luggage--otherwise tram to train station for day trips.Great base to Antibes or Villefrance, Eze, and Monaco. Bus station is nearby.
The only drawback is that the children in the school below are loud , if you like to sleep in on weekdays.

Just got back from a long weekend with the girls staying in this apartment. The apartment was beautifully furnished and had all the facilities needed. Its in a great location only a short stroll to the main shopping area and to the old town. Its also near the train station so its ideal if you want to go further afield. I highly recommend the apartment for anyone looking for either a short or long break in Nice.

We had a fantastic time in Nice. The aparement is bright and airy with three excellent sized bedrooms. Although there were six of us it never felt over crowded. We found it a great base for exploring Nice as it is walking distance to the beach, the old town and the shops. The bus and train stations are also close by.

I would definately return to the apartment and would recommend it to anyone staying in Nice.

The apartment was nice surprise. It looked even better than in photos and we really enjoyed our stay in Nice. Apartment was well equipped and furnished and I have already recommended to some people. The location was great as it was so close to the shopping street, old town, the beach and a railway station.

An instructions given by owner was a good information package as it had details about how to get there and where the closest grocery store is etc.

The three of us had a great time in Nice. The condo is very large, well maintained and located in an ideal area for shopping, beaching, dining and exploring. It is a 15 min walk to the train station and a 15 min walk to the beach. I would definitely recommend this condo to fellow travellers. Our favorite attraction was the castle and our favorite restaurant was L'byane (I think that's how you spell it). Thanks Shane for answering all out enquiries.

What can we say except Superb

Review Submitted: June 3, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2008
The 6 of us had a fabulous time, we didn't feel over crowded at all, your apartment was lovely, typically french (of course) and spacious, everyone commented on how comfy the beds were, kitchen and bathroom were immaculate, it was so central - everywhere was easy access, train station, Rue de Medicin, and of course the old town which is beautiful, the Messina is very close which has a good selection of restaurants and bars and if you are a beach lover its just a short walk too. Its also a good base for visiting other villages and towns which we did. We would certainly be happy to recommend this apartment and hope to return in the future. Thanks again for everything.
