What a fantastic apartment. Ideal location close to supermarket, and other shops. Views from private garden of surrounding countryside, Very easy access to coast or mountains. Beautiful beaches within 5 minutes drive of the apartment. We stayed with our grown up children - 7 of us for part of our stay (August 08) and we were easily accommodated. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. If you haven't been to Asturias before give it a try.

Property clean, well maintained, quiet, ideally located for shops, beaches, mountains, markets, airports and anything else you may need for a family holiday. Pre and after care from owners was top drawer.

We spent 2 lovely weeks in this apartment which is immaculate and has every home comfort needed. There is loads of space for a family holiday, much more than usual in holiday apartments.
The selection of beaches within 10 minutes drive is great and the Picos mountains are only about half an hour away for fantastic scenery and walking. Posada is an interesting little town and not touristy at all, we found everything we needed in the local supermarket and bakery and enjoyed eating out in nearby restaurants.

We spent 4 nights here in June 2008 and were quite satisfied.
This place is quite new. It has obviously had little use and is one of the best holiday apartments/cottages that we have stayed in. It is very well equipped (everything works), very clean and a in a convenient location with a a pleasant aspect and a good view of the hills. The only negatives are that the bedrooms are rather small and there was a fair bit of noise from a construction site nearby.
All in all, well above average and value for money. We would have stayed longer, had it been available.

Owner's Response: With regard to the comments about building noise there is a block of apartments being built nearby. Construction should have been complete by June 2008 but has obviously overun slightly. Once complete I am sure there will be no issues with building noise any more.
Regarding the size of the bedrooms, we decided to put in the maximum size beds we possibly could bearing in mind that hopefully when on holiday the only time you spend in the bedroom is when you are sleeping! The double bedroom has a 1.6 metre wide bed.

The area is beautiful, beaches 5 minutes drive away, mountains for skiing less than an hour away, there's a pleasant traditional town, fantastic. Definately a spot for those who wish to see the 'real' Spain and not just a hotel complex with a pool on the Costa del Sol.

We found the apartment to be spacious, well kept and modern. The town itself is quaint and provides everyday amenities some good eating/drinking establishments and think there was a new supermarket being built during our stay in April 2007. The views of the mountains is stunning and the beautiful beaches are literally minutes away by car. These beaches are fanatactic for surfing and remain relatively uncrowded. Would recommend to anyone.

Dear Colin and Fran, thankyou for letting us stay at your lovely appartment.The views from the appartment were stunning and the Beaches lovely and quiet, great for the kids! We enjoyed our days out at the Dinosoar Museum and the Aquarium, and the locals were very helpful, a great summer holiday.

The apartment lived up to it's description.It was clean,new and roomy and had lovely scenery on the doorstep. I found it well equipped and more of a home from home than you usually find in a holiday apartment. It is very close to shops and more importantly the beautiful beaches are only a very short drive away. I went with my 2 sons and their girlfriends and we found the apartment a good base for sight seeing that suited us all. I should like to visit again and do some of the excellent walks in the nearby mountains.
