Fantastic apartment

We had a wonderful week in Estepona. The apartment was the best self-catering accommodation we have stayed in. It was so much bigger than most 2 bedroomed apartments so that we could all have our own space. It was really well equipped (no need to buy oil, salt, sugar or other basics - they were all provided) and comfortably furnished - more like a home than a holiday let. The view from the balcony was superb. We didn't bother going out most evenings, just sat on the balcony watching the sun set over the sea. The location is also excellent - just 2 minutes walk from the lovely Cristo beach in one direction and the marina in the other. It's also a short walk beside the beach to the town. Our 5 and 8 year olds managed it easily (especially with plenty of playgrounds and gym equipment to use along the way!). The nearest supermarket was also within walking distance. We were also pleased that we could take our children to visit Ronda in less than an hour. We think that it is one of the most fascinating towns in Spain, and well worth a visit. We would have no hesitation in recommending a stay at this apartment to anyone wishing to visit this area. Thanks, Andy!

A real Gem

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in this beautiful apartment. From the moment we made contact with the owner he was keen to ensure we enjoyed our stay. He not only sent us a lot of information about the apartment and surrounding area but also recommended attractions and restaurants. We found this very helpful as it was our first time in this particular area.We could not have wished for a nicer apartment .It was spotless and so well furnished and equipped. The spacious balcony with its splendid views was a real bonus and a great place for breakfast and also to sit in the evening with a bottle of wine watching the lovely sunsets.We would certainly recommend this apartment and will definitely book it again.

Fantastic apartment

We could not have wished for a better apartment, the standard of accomodation was indeed 5 star and very much as described. We found the standard of food in the marina very high and visited some of the recommeded restaurants, Reinaldo's and El Cazador were of particular note. Playa Cristo beach was nice and a good safe place for children but it did get very busy, we also visited La Duquesa beach about 10 minutes from the apartment which was more suited to adult visitors. We would recommend a car for visiting the many local attractions, we visited Gibraltar. Casares, Ronda during our stay. All in all a very nice vacation in a great apartment.
Owner's Response: There are a selection of beaches nearby including La Duquesa and also La Rada. La Rada has 2km of golden sand and is in walking distance from the apartment, indeed it is a lovely route to walk along in to Estepona Town.
Estepona can satisfy many types of holiday be it using Estepona as a base in order to explore some fantastic parts of Southern Spain, or as a superb place to chill out in the sun and enjoy the fantastic cafe-bars and restaurants.

This a comfortable, modern apartment with a well equipped kitchen and good quality home entertainment system- the DivX player will play all forms of DVD and VCDs. We particularly liked the flat screen TV in the bedroom. There are excellent views from the terrace over the seafront. A major benefit of the apartment is its location: there are two reasonable sized supermarkets within 5 min walking distance and easy access to the port with its range of bars and restaurants and to the beach. The owner provided excellent customer service from the initial contact and throughout our stay, He was very keen to ensure that all our needs were met, My wife and myself have hired extensively in Spain over the past 10 Years and this package was amongst the best we have experienced. I have no reservations in recommending this apartment.
Owner's Response: Marina Bay is in an enviable position, near to the Marina with its cafe-bars and restaurants but also with the lovely Cristo Beach right on the doorstep.

BEST BEACHFRONT APARTMENT

The apartment was everying we could have wished for and more - to our mind 5*. It was well equipped, near to the beach and a lovely walk along the promenade to Estepona Old Town where we thought the meals were cheaper than in the Marina. Liked the fact that it was very Spanish. Would love to visit again and would certainly rent this apartment. The description in the advertisement was completely accurate and we were delighted with everything. The welcome pack was very welcome after a long trip and a lovely touch.

A very nice apartment with absolutely everything you could need. Welcome pack very good too. Christine was very informative. A quiet place ideal for relaxing. Weather was a bit windy for beach on several days (maybe we were unlucky), Car was needed to get to some of the kids attractions. Spain itself seems to be very expensive now too.

You cannot get better than this apartment! This is truly a home away from home ! Situated in prime spot,overlooking the beach with spectacular views,only a short walk to the Marina and a nice walk to Estepona, where the people are friendly and every small street is a postcard. Our five week stay seemed to have passed us by too quickly. We will definitely be back to continue our day trips, to places we still have not discovered.A special thanks to Christine, she is a real gem!

Our family had a wonderful time during our short stay in this apartment. The decor is stylish and has been completed to a good standard - better than we were expecting after stays in other rental properties in previous years. A lot of thought has clearly gone in to ensuring that renters lack for nothing during their stay.
The location is ideal - just far enough away from the busier port area but close enough to easily walk to all you need.
The views from the apartment are excellent. Unfortunately the weather during our stay was not good enough to spend time on the Cristo beach but it is easy to imagine taking advantage of the loungers and beach restaurants when the sun shines.
Andy (the owner) was extremely helpful in providing details of the local area and public transport which helped greatly.
Nearby Casares is a nice rural example of Spainsh life and Selwo Park is a must see for the children but you can also easily stay around Estepona and not run out of activities to keep them amused.
We would certainly like to return in the future (hoping for better weather) and would definitely recommend a stay here to others.

Really enjoyed staying in this apartment, beautiful views across the bay, well furnished,very central, close to all amenities.Lovely restaurants,tastes to suit everyone. Good selection of supermarkets, shops just a few minutes walk away.The prom is absolutely beautiful, made you want to walk even when it rained! Great for people watching when you stopped for coffee and toast, or lunch, or just a glass of wine! Would we return absolutely.Bus station just 15 minutes walk, where you could get a bus to Marbella, and then on to literally anywhere.
Owner's Response: We have always felt that Marina Bay is situated in an excellent position within Estepona with all necessary amenities nearby without spoiling the lovely peaceful nature of the location and it is lovely to hear our guests have also found this to be the case.
This makes it the ideal location for anything from a single weeks holiday for topping up the tan, to a longer winter break to avoid the cold winters at home, which was the case for this reviewer.

Having read through lots of advertisments it was this apartment that we thought promised the most and we were not left dissapointed.
From the lovely greeting and welcome pack at the start of the holiday through many hours on the balcony watching the stunning sunsets across the sea, this holiday was a real treat.
The apartment is especially spacious, furnished in a lovely modern yet comfortable style and the owners really have thought of everything their guests may need.
This apartment and location should appeal to any holidaymaker looking for a relaxing break where it is easy to top up the tan on the nearby beach or by the pool, treat yourself a little in the lovely restaurants, relax in the local bars and spend endless hours taking in the great views from the balcony.
