Well what a marvellous place, the villa and pool were fantastic. The local towns were very pretty, each in such different ways. The scenery was truly breathtaking, there is just so much to see and do. An absolutely perfect base for our travels, thanks for your advice. Although at the end of our touring we could never wait to return to the villa and its cosy atmosphere. That was only when we could drag ourselves away in first place. We really enjoyed your friendly hospitality. The villa was perfectly private and secluded and the pool was always immaculate just ready for a dive in!- *Annette and Dominic (UK)*---
WE have had a wonderful 2 weeks in Rosaspina, the pool was wonderful, peaceful and never have we heard crickets like these! We've had wonderful meals in the restaurants in Todi and here at the house: Monina's cooking for Sarah's birthday made it perfect. Truly a place to recharge the batteries. You have created a very special place Bruno.-*The Hammond family (Hertfordshire, UK)*

A peaceful retreat near Todi

We had a very pleasant stay on Bruno's "little estate" (there are three houses in close proximity, two of them for rent, with Bruno in the third). The stone house is well equipped and the pool is excellent - shallow throughout so ideal for pool games. Bruno is a charming man, and was very helpful, though discrete. There are no nearby shops or cafes but Todi is 10 to 15 mins away. The area is peaceful with lots of birdlife and a lovely walk with views across to Todi (though none from the house). I warmly recommend this house. The Figes family and friends.

An amazing holiday destination!

We recently stayed at Villa Rosaspina for a week, and the only problem was that we wished we could have stayed longer! The house is spacious and well laid out - we were 4 adults and 4 kids (4-7) - with a great outdoor eating area, a great view of the valley and a wonderful pool. Rosaspina is secluded without being remote, and only a 10minute drive to Todi and an easy drive to regional attractions. Bruno was a perfect host and I would highly recommend Rosaspina as a base for exploring Umbria and/or for a relaxing holiday.

Stunning location for a relaxing break

EU Aussies Dusseldorf, Germany
Review Submitted: July 27, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
Villa Rosaspina is a stunning, peaceful location for a relaxing break. The description and photos are accurate, and all facilities were excellent and well maintained. It is perfect for 2 families with young children, or for 4 couples. It was close enough to visit nearby towns, but the villa and pool is so lovely you may not stray far. The pool is slightly away from the house which worked well with young children from a safety perspective, and ensured quiet siesta time for those not swimming. The owner was very helpful and provided good recommendations for restaurants etc. The house was serviced twice during the week, and the owner's daughter cooked us a lovely meal (highly recommended). Our only regret is that we were unable to stay longer. Highly recommended.

All that the description says

This is a fabulous property--comfortable, well equipped, great location very helpful owner/manager. A gorgeous pool, impeccably kept. Magnificent flowers all around. Who could ask for more? It is all that the description says and more. I have rented many villas in Europe and this one is a star. The location is terrific--Todi is a charming town, about a 15 minute drive. Ideally situated for day trips to Orvieto, Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto and more. I recommend this property with enthusiasm. We also recommend the in-home "welcome dinner" if it is available.

Amazingly secluded location. Very comfortable villa with all amenities. Superb pool and pool area. Views across wooded hills. The perfect place to relax and recharge. Bruno, the owner and our host, could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. We felt at home within minutes and hated having to leave!
