Loved it so much....We booked again

This was our first non-package holiday and despite early trepidations beforehand it was absolutely great. The owner couldn't have been more helpful and informative ..... great communication. Transfers and car hire arranged which all went like clockwork. The appartment had everything we needed and more ... the beach umberellas/picnic equipment/cd player/washing machine were particularly useful. Perfect family holiday had by all. Many thanks.

As this was our first family holiday together we wanted to go somewhere that was family friendly and relaxing.

My husband, daughter (21months) and I stayed at the apartment in June 2009. We had a lovely holiday together. The apartment and location was ideal, it was clean, spacious and relaxing and had everything that we needed. We were pleased to find some buckets/spades, sun umbrellas, beach matts and much more to make use of during our stay...

There was a choice of three pools which were in close proximity and the walk to the beach took about 10min. The beach was clean and beautiful with clear blue/turqouise sea.

Son Bou was a family friendly resort. There was a choice of bars and places to eat which catered for children - we decided to sit out on the spacious balcony a couple of nights to have dinner.

The transfers were arranged through the owners (who were very helpful and friendly) and were waiting for us on our arrival at Mahon Airport -the transfer to the apartment was 20mins - fantastic location.

We loved the apartment and resort very much and would love to go back again. We will definitely recommend to others.

Andy,Jodie,Matthew,and myself arrived on the friday evening on May 22 2009. The accomodation was inviting and spacious and we made good use of the new balcony always eating breakfast and dinner there. The pools were all loverly although we as a family spent most time at son bou gardens as the children liked the pool. All the restraunts on the complex were very welcoming and the food was excellent. Especially the steak dinner we had just before we left for the airport. We took a walk into the village where there is more restraunts and bars. We liked the Irish bar where we could watch the football and the children could go on the internet for a euro or play with the games. The Beach was quite a walk from the apartment but we foud it well worth the trip as the scenary is breath taking and the children liked seeing the ducks waddle across the beach, they also liked the shallow waters before you got to the deep sea. As both of them are not strong swimmers we felt safe letting them play in the sea. We all got pretty burnt that day so take the umbrellas for shade and plenty of suncream.
Overall we found the holiday very relaxing so much so we did not want to leave after just one week and reluctantly packed. Matthew hid all his clothes under his bed so we would not go but alas we had too.

We both agree that the appartment made the holiday complete.It provided everything we needed Hairdryer,washing machine, playstation all in all a home from home and I have already recomended it and the location to my friends and family.

We stayed in the apartment in October 2008 and had a fabulous holiday there and the apartment was excellent, very close to all amenities.We went out every day on the local buses which were on time and very cheap. You could get to Mahon for 2.20 euro.Will definately reccommend to all my friends.

After our visit to Son Bou at the San Jamie Apartment we were over the moon ! Such a great relaxing place with fantastic things for the kids and plenty of night life.
The apartment was clean and tidy and all things readily avialable to hand when needed. Great balcony to sit on in the evenings and dream the evening away in the 28-30 degree heat and dine on a lovely Menorca meal washed down with a glass of Sangria on the local Estralla lager.
Only a short walk to 3 great pools all safe for the kids, Lovely safe Beach with clean sand and beautiful turquoise sea. At night a 5 min walk to the complexes heartbeat, the free entertainment on offer every night of the week.

All in all a beautiful place to visit and only a 2 Hour flight from Birmingham Airport. Wonderful !!

Myself and young family stayed at this apartment for the first time this year and we loved it so much we have booked again for next year.
We went with friends who had booked last minute through travel agents but this apartment had lots of extras to keep the kids happy and we found the owners to be very helpful.
They organised transfers for us and even helped with booking our flights.

We found the complex to be very clean and well kept,our children loved the pools and the beach is fantastic.

Overall i would certainly recommend this apartment and we are looking forward to next year.

As our first visit to Menorca, my wife and I plus our two children (4 and nearly two) needed to find good, clean & overall family-friendly accommodation, within a short ride from the airport. Jo and Greg provided us with all of the information that we needed to know prior to travelling, ad really made a difference with their personal touch during email and phone communications.
The transfer of 20 minutes was easy, the Reception Staff spoke excellent english and we were at our apartment within five minutes; the taxi driver dropped us off within 20 yards of the property. As we'd already received instructions on what the property had to offer, operating anything from the music system, DVD or the hot water and gas appliances was a breeze.
The apartment was clean and spacious, while offering the added bonus of overlooking the complex from the first floor level; the main gate and balstrade of the front patio had been modified to keep smaller children out of harms' way using additional locks and fencing. The bedrooms were more than adequate for our needs, with a good-sized fridge freezer, gas cooker and other amenities provided to allow you to use the apartment to its full potential. The DVD player and portable TV were an added bonus to help keep young minds happy when all other avenues failed.
The complex offered three good swimming pools, bars/restaurant, supermarket, bakery, nightly entertainment; all within a 5-minute walk.
The resort of Son Bou had enough to offer our young family with plenty of bars & restaurants to stave off hunger pangs - local seafood and fresh pizzas were always going to work for us, all provided at reasonable prices. The beach was only a 15-minute walk away and featured heavily in our routine, as the sea was warm and shallow for many metres out from the shore + the sand was so fine that building castles, etc was a real pleasure. A trip to the capital, Mahon, was the only day off that we had from the beach where the market was useful for browsing bargain jewellery and paitings.
Overall, we would highly recommend this apartment to couples and families alike as the accommodation and the owners made us feel very welcome, from the start of our holiday to the inevitable flight home.

After visiting menorca previously including stopping at son bou, my wife and i were looking forward to staying in greg & jo's apartment. When we arrived we found the apartment agents who are based nearby in resort very helpful. The accomodation was very well located in a flat area ideal for young families and also very close to all amenities including shops & restaurants and a short flat walk to the lovely clean and sandy beach. The apartment was well presented, clean and comfortable. There is extra little touches including a playstation & cd's for your entertainment. It has a balcony so it was nice on the evenings to sit outside and enjoy a nice mahon gin & tonic!!!! Overall we had a lovely stay & hope to come back in the future. Many thanks......
