Golden Beach

We have been staying at Golden Beach for quite a few years now and it really has become our favourite Spanish destination.
For us the really fantastic thing is the apartment is only a 5 min. walk from Javea's amazing beach and all the really good restaurants and night life on the promenade.
It's great to be able to go out in the evening enjoy a bottle of wine over dinner without being concerned about having to drive home.
The apartment itself is clean, bright, modern and well equiped but it is the small touches and attention to detail that make it work for us.
We have always booked our holiday's in Javea through Sandra, she's a great girl, well organised and totally reliable.
To sum it up great apartment, great location,great beach and great food what more could you ask for!

i really enjoyed our holiday this year at golgen beech 2
the appartment and pool was just perfect for us and our children. we couldnt have picked a nicer place. we all loved javia the beech is just minuets away from the appartment and the sea is very safe for the children as they could walk out for ages before it became too deep for them. i would like to go back again very soon.

Exellent,spacious fully equippped apartment, well located for the Arenal Beach and restaurants about 500 yards walkaway. Welcome pack for late arrival a nice touch. Apartment was accurately described in the advertisement
About 200 yards from a small funfair with trampolines, dodgems, and a merry-go-round.
The Arenal Beach is sandy, horseshoe shaped, and safe for swimming with the occasional day of big waves.
Restaurants are family oriented and range from cheap and cheerful to quite expensive with a good mix of foood.
Only problem was the commercial building being constructed immediately next door to the complex was a bit of an eyesore and a little noisy but something the owner can do nothing about.

Althought the apartment itself was excellent nothing could have prepared us for the rude awakening we got on our first morning there. Building work was going on right in front of the apartment and we were woken each morning at 7am by the builders. We do feel that we should have been warned about the work going on. The noise and the dust was awful. Javea itself is a lovely area to visit and to take your holidays.
Owner's Response: These recent guests holidayed at the Property for one week from 14 - 21 May 2008. They were met on arrival at the Property by an appointed representative, no concerns were given regarding the Building Works on arrival nor during the Full Week of their stay. As the Managing Agent I live in the area and am contactable at all times in case of any problems. On their return to the UK they then made contact by email and have written the subsequent review. It is most unfortunate that the Weather was awful for the full week of their stay which meant that they would have been indoors for most of the time, this Apartment is of exceptional quality and provides a great base for enjoying all amenities Javea has to offer.The Apartment is siturated on the First Floor of Block 1, the outlook of the Property remains unchanged. The Building Works noted in this review is actually a new Commercial Centre of Shops and Offices. The Structure is fully erected which means that most of works to be done will soon be internal. Javea is a growing resort and unfortunately new buildings such as this will on occasion cause some disruption. I would hope that this review will not deter further guests. I would of course been happy to assist these guests during their stay had they contacted me immediately and offered a relocation if necessary.
