Great Holiday

Review Submitted: August 19, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
Exellent apartment with fantastic rooftop terrace. As described in listing but turned out better than expected. Spent many hours on the roof terrace with space for all our family (7) and shade at any time of the day if needed. Pool was clean and in great setting. Apartment was clean and well maintained with ample living space for everyone. Thankyou to Simon and Sue who made us feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble. We will recommend to all our friends and family and hope to visit again soon.
Thankyou Rick.
Owner's Response: Great to hear Paul that you had a great time, look forward to hearing from you again, best wishes Rick.

Golfing base

Tigger Woods North Wales
Review Submitted: July 28, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
Just returned from staying in this penthouse apartment. It was everything we wanted. The location was excellent for our golfing holiday and very central to lots of the better value courses. The apartment was very clean and idealy furnished. The numerous bathrooms helped with getting ready in the mornings and saved valuable holiday time. We used the barbeque and large table and chairs on the roof top till late in the evenings while discussing the days golfing. The spanish neighbours were very friendly and helped me practice my pidgeon spanish on occassions.
Overall, a very enjoyable holiday was had by all in very pleasant surroundings. I will definately return again!
Owner's Response: Ricky great to hear from you and that you enjoyed your holiday, look forward to hearing from you again.

Perfect holiday apartment for everyone

Review Submitted: June 14, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2008
We've used this apartment a couple of times over a few years and loved both trips. We will definitely go back again as the apartment has everything we want for a sunny holiday.

The apartment is really spacious and being on 2 floors gives the impression of being even bigger. The small balcony is great for having your breakfast on in the sunshine whilst watching the golfers go by. The views are great and the huge roof terrace upstairs is perfect for sunbathing, relaxing or having BBQs. Inside the rooms are large and the apartment has all the amenities you need. It's very well furnished and provides a very comfortable home from home.

The location is very good - nice and quiet being away from the main parts but very close to the local beach (lovely golden sand) as well as shops bars and restaurants. Marbella is only a short drive/taxi away for anyone looking for more hustle and bustle.

This apartment is great for virtually anyone and we would really recommend it as a perfect base for a fantastic holiday
Owner's Response: Thanks for the feedback and hope to hear from you again.

Great holiday location

ROADSTER PETERBOROUGH, CAMBS
Review Submitted: June 6, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
"We had a lovely holiday over the recent bank holiday. The weather was fantastic and the apartment was perfect for us, we all loved the views from the roof terrace which as it surrounds three quarters of the top of the apartment we could always catch the sun or the shade, we also had some great BBQ's in the early evening. The complex was quite quiet when we was there, and it was only a 5 minute drive down to the coast, and we managed to find some lovely beaches along the coast, some of the best being La Cala & Cabopino.
We were also able to get to some fantastic places which we had not been to before, Ronda and Granada were amazing. A week wasn't long enough to do everything which we wanted and hopefully we'll be able to return soon".
Owner's Response: Great to hear from you & that you had a lovely holiday.

Great for the family

Review Submitted: May 16, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2008
Thanks to Rick and Paul, the Penthouse was great for all of us. Lovely views to the mountains and some lovely beaches nearby. We found that the Cabopino beach was best for the kids being shallow and sandy and with some lovely restaurants in the beautiful little port nearby. Marbella was great along the seafront and we walked all the way along to Puerto Banus (with a few ice cream stops along the way!)The kids loved the Rich and Famous feeling at Puerto Banus, boats cars etc. We visted the Waterpark (spent all day there), the croccodile park, Magic Show, and Benalmadena Port (really pretty). Most afternoons we came back to the apartment and spend time around the pool which is a real lovely suntrap and set in nice gardens. The kids really loved the split level apartment as they could watch movies and play games in the upstairs lounge and it also gave us a break in the evening to recharge and relax down stairs!
Really enjoyed it.
Owner's Response: Thanks for the feedback and really pleased you had a great holiday.

Review Submitted: April 23, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
We had a fabulous weeks holiday over the Easter break, the apartment was perfect for our stay. The views from the terrace were fantastic and we enjoyed a few BBQ's in the early evening. The Apartment was very well equipped and had everything we needed. It was also close enough to everything, lovely local restaurants, close to the beach, and we also visited Malaga & Marbella. We are hoping to return again this year.
Owner's Response: Really pleased you enjoyed your holiday, please keep in touch.

Our Spanish holiday

June, John + Co. Whittlesey
Review Submitted: March 1, 2009 Date of Stay: November 2008
We chose this apartment because it seemed quite a good size and being a Penthouse was split over two levels which we thought would be a more interseting place to stay. We also wanted a base between Marbella and Malaga and at less than 30mins from Malaga airport it was just right. In the event it lived up to expectation. It was large enough for our party of six and it was clean!. The views were lovely over the golf course and up to the mountains too. You can see the mountain village of Mijas from both terraces.
We had a car which is essential in this part of Spain and found lots of nice beaches, shops and restaurants. We hardly ate in at all. There are some good restaurants in the local area and the one overlooking the sea at the bottom of the hill (although it doesnt look great from the road) was really excellent.
We wanted to do a bit of shopping and decided to visit Malaga (we were told to visit after the siesta about 5pm) and stayed into the evening for a meal. This was well worth a visit. You need to find the old town below the Alcazaba. There is the Piscaso Museum and Theatres here too, although we didnt have time to see these. We also visited Marbella a couple of times which is lovely in the old town and along the beach front. Benalmadena Puerta is also well worth an afternoon. Start at the Port which is very pretty and walk along the sea front as far as Torremolinos and back.
The aparment complex had a lovely pool set in flowered gardens and this was also nice in the afternoons after a visit out. The men played a bit of Golf and were spoilt for choice for courses although in the end just played the Miraflores Course on our doorstep.
All in all this prooved to be a good base for our holiday and was close to all the various attractions along this part of the coast. A very nice apartment. Thanks Rick and Paul

Rivera Del Sol Holiday

The Pablo Gang Cheltenham
Review Submitted: March 1, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2008
We had visited the Costal Del Sol many times before and go particularly for the Sun sightseeing and Golf. This time it was nice to have an apartment that looked directly over the golf course itself. The views were really stunning and the Miraflores golf course is one we really like to play. Good Course and good value. There are loads of courses along this stretch of the coast and this apartment and the Riviera area sits at the heart of it all. I would say you can probably find about 30 courses within half an hour drive of this apartment including those around Marbella and Mijas. But plenty to do other than Golf, you'll need a car to get about as the area is busy with activity in La Cala, Mijas, Fuengirola, marbella and Puerto Banus all nearby. We also went inland this time to Ronda and Mijas village in the mountains and had a day in Gibralta too. Ronda is really quite a setting.....spend a day there!
The apartment itself is quite big and well presented. It easily accommodated the four of us. The top terrace was nice for barbecues in the evening and the lower terrace was a real suntrap in the mornings for breakfast. A really good holiday
Owner's Response: Thanks Paul for the review & so pleased to hear you had a great time, look forward to hearing from you again if you want to holiday in the area again.

A Wonderful Place to Stay

Joe24737 Cheltenham
Review Submitted: December 29, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
Since first staying in this apartment three years ago we have been back twice. That’s how much we like it and we have no doubt we would love to go again.

The apartment is nicely furnished and with everything you need to make your stay very comfortable. It’s almost certainly the best on the complex in terms of its position. The large rooftop Terrace is great, a real sun trap with plenty of loungers and a BBQ area which is perfect for dining outside. Inside there is three good sized bedrooms with a further room upstairs with a sofabed. Two bathrooms and a shower room make it ideal for larger groups. The kitchen is small but very usable, and the Lounge/Dining Area is spacious. The downstairs terrace off the Lounge is ideal for breakfast time and relaxing outside away from the sun during the day.

The apartment’s grounds are really nicely landscaped with a clean well maintained Swimming Pool and even though this is all within an “urbanisation” it never feels as if it is surrounded. The apartment especially benefits from overlooking the Golf course with views up to the Mijas Mountains.

Although away from the major resorts there is a number of restaurants/bars and a couple of well stocked supermarkets a short distance away.

A car is recommended to get the best out of your stay. Riviera Del Sol is ideally located for access to Marbella and Malaga along the coastal road. Marbella’s Old Town is well worth a visit, as is Mijas, Puerto Banus and any of the white villages up in the hills. Cabapino, a couple of miles west offers a great beach with some good restaurants in the Marina. The National Parks inland are stunning and well worth a day trip if that’s your thing.

Golfers won’t go far wrong. There are golf courses all over the place. The one the apartment overlooks (Miraflores), so I am told, is a good one. I don’t play myself but the nearby Driving Range is always good fun.

All in all a terrific apartment which has made for some fabulous holidays.
