We spent a very enjoyable holiday at the villa and appreciated all the excellent facilities provided. The pool was wonderful and much enjoyed by all of us. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and the two outside dining areas gave choice depending on if one needed sun or shade. The villa has lovely views of the mountains behind it and the sea in front. It is ideally placed for visiting all the many attractions of North Cyprus and we enjoyed the variety of things to do. Having several good supermarkets within a few minutes drive was really convenient and we were in easy reach of Kyrenia. I would strongly recommend it to families with children or just a group of freinds. The only thing I felt it lacked was an ice box to pack those beach picnics into!
Owner's Response: What a good idea! When we visit in August I will make sure that I buy an ice box for picnics. I wonder why I never thought of it! There are some lovely places to have picnics in Northern Cyprus and we usually buy ours in the supermarket en route. Now , everyone will be able to enjoy ice cool beers after walking up the mountains or finding that ideal beach.

Our family of four with 18 year old daughter and 16 year old son had a great holiday at Villa Elda.
Wonderful spacious villa fitted to a high standard. Ideal for large families with ample space inside and out with a cool, clean and uncluttered feel. Patio, pool area and balconies are great for relaxing at anytime of day.
Great for eating in despite the large number of restaurants to chose from.
Located close to Kyrenia, but also with easy beach/supermarket/restaurant access.
Very friendly people and a generally relaxed way of life.
Finally the owner is very helpful and all arrangements went to plan.

Villa Elda is a truly wonderful place to stay and we had our best family holiday ever here. The villa is beautifully designed and furnished, providing lots of space. It has all the equipment that you could possibly want, both inside and out. It is exactly as presented on the website. The location is quiet and tucked away and yet it is just minutes by car to a lovely beach. We found it a really great place to stay to get to everywhere that we wanted to visit. We were looked after really excellently, right down to the airport transfers which were very well organised. The owners know the area really well and were genuinely keen for us to have a great holiday. We would really recommend this property.

We stayed for 2 weeks at the Villa Elda in October 2008. Our first reaction on seeing the outside was "wow its huge and gorgeous" and we weren't disappointed upon entering. We (couple 60) and our daughter (30) spent a good half hour absolutely screaming with delight on exploring our holiday home. Worked very well for us as the set up with 2 bedrooms down and 2 upstairs meant we could split and have our own space. The whole villa was very well equipped with good quality fittings and equipment and it was a pleasure to cook in the lovely kitchen. The outside was a dream with several areas to just laze in the sun or for comfortable dining. The pool was wonderful and we spent many happy hours in and around it and the gardens. This is very much a home not just a rental property and there were lots of little extras that made for extra comfort. The whole thing was very easy as Liz kindly booked our airport transfer and car hire for us at very reasonable rates. The surrounding area is lovely with plenty of bars supermarkets and restaurants and the locals are the most genuinely friendly I have met anywhere. They take you into their homes and take great pleasure in getting to know you personally. We had no children with us but I am considering maybe taking my grandchildren next time as the whole villa and pool had been made very safe for younger visitors. To sum up, beautiful villa, wonderful area, fantastic people, lovely weather - what more could you want. Don't delay any longer, book it - you won't be disappointed.

This is a lovely and spacious villa. It is beautifully maintained. Everything about it is new and clean, and it is well equipped with air conditioning and cable TV. The villa is spacious and ideal for families. the infinity pool is great and there is loads of space around it to relax or have a barbecue. There are lots of activities nearby- beaches, castles, shops, restaurants. Thoroughly recomend this villa.

Villa Elda and Elizabeth were wonderful! The villa is very nice, with very nice furnishings. It was wonderful to have our own private pool right outside our back door. This was our first experience renting a villa, and we were not sure how everything would work out, but it all worked out beautifully. The villa is especially good for people with children.

Traumurlaub mit kleinen Hindernissen

Die versprochenen Attribute sind komplett eingehalten worden. Zwar hatten wir bei der Anreise einige Probleme mit dem Zugang (falscher Code), aber durch die Hilfe der Taxifahrer kamen wir dann letztlich doch ins Haus. Leider war die Agentin und die Vermieterin erst am nächsten Tag erreichbar. Der Rest des Urlaubs war hervorragend. Das Haus ist sehr schön, die Betreuung durch die Agentin ausreichend. Man kann viele Restaurants empfehlen, jeder nach seinem Geschmack. Der Strand ist relativ dürftig, das liegt aber an der Geografie. Die erschlossenen Strände sind in der Regel kostenpflichtig. Richtigen Sandstrand kann man am Golden Beach erleben (Nordspitze Südseite). Der Weg dahin ist aber recht beschwerlich (2 - 3 Stunden Autofahrt). Auf jeden Fall kann man das Haus weiterempfehlen.
Kleinere Wermutstropfen sind dabei. Für Deutsche ist es relativ ungewöhnlich, ein Haus nach Anzahl der Mieter zu bezahlen. Dadurch hat es einige Differenzen gegeben. Zeitaufenthalte (kürzer) führen nicht zwangsläufig zu einer Reduzierung des Mietpreises. Es hat einige Anläufe zum Rücklauf des Damage Deposit gegeben. Das ist sehr teuer, da englische Banken kräftig hinlangen. der gesamte Spass hat dann 30 GBP gekostet, zuzüglich 12,50 € der deutschen Bank.
Trotz der kleinen Probleme war der Urlaub absolut gelungen. Der Rest ist unter gesammelte Erfahrung zu buchen.

Unfortunately, we did not have all the correct information in this case which caused a few delays and problems with the guests bank which regretably caused more charges.
