The best vacation we had!

Anzhelika Kiev, Ukraine
Review Submitted: September 13, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
My husband and I would like to thank Alarik for our wonderful vacation.

The apartment is spacious (the living room was larger than we expected), modern, and has everything necessary.
It is situated in an ecologically clean place without crowds of tourists. We went to Alanya for a day for excursion, Gazipasa is a paradise in comparison with it - clean sea, 3 different sorts of beaches (a cove 100 metres from the apartment, a stony beach 600 metres away and 2 sandy beaches - 3 km away).

Local people are very friendly, everyone greeted us and wanted to treat our little daughter.

If you are tired of everyday bustle, this is the best place for physical and mental rest for you and your family and kids.
We came with two daughters (25 and 2 years old) - the both liked their vacation very much.
We stayed at the apartment for 1 month and did not want to go back home. I had the time and inspiration to paint portraits of my family (5 persons), however I have not taken a paint brush since I finished school.

Alarik and the manager Adnan were always available and could solve any problem promptly (e.g. the car we rented was brought by the door of our apartment etc.)

We have got very positive impressions of this vacation and Turkey, which will stay long in our memories.

Thank you!

off the beaten track, memorable vacation.

We stayed at Alaric's place in May'2009. Everything about the place and the surrounding area exceeded our high expectations. The apartment was clean and well furnished - all necessities were there. The cove is nothing short of spectacular, the water is crystal clear and marine life is abundant. Some days there were only us in the cove, other days there were a few local groups and a few tourists - never crowded. By comparison, Alanya's beach was fairly crowded and the water was dirty with zero visibility. Same thing in Antalya. If you want to enjoy the Turkish Mediterranean - Gazipasa is the place to be. Also, I highly recommend walking up the Selinus castle hill at sunset - a 5 minute drive from the condo.

The unit was very nice, roomy and clean. Very quiet area. The private cove was incredible. Parking was great. The snorkeling was really good. It was great not to be in the fast past Alanya and Antalya area, but be close to many historical sights.

Winter holiday in Gazipasa - Beach, Village

The condo is very much a home from home, the owners have thought of everything you need to make your holiday very comfortable and relaxing. The condo is very spacious, well furnished and very clean. Beach village is quite a distance from the nearest town of Gazipasa so a car is required, we hired a car for a few days then decided it would be nicer to wak everywhere. Gazipasa is a small town very much untouched by the tourist trade, the people are very friendly and make you feel very welcome to their corner of paradise. The secuded cove is a sight to behold, the formation of the rocks allows you to sit and watch the small fishing boats go by or just sit and read whilst sunbathing, we sat for hours watching the waves lapping the rocks, it was both very relaxing and theraputic. There is a road that runs dow the side of the apartment complex, at the bottom of the road is the sea and a beautiful beach for the chidren to play on while parents soak up the sun. I would rcommend the condo to anyone that wants a nice quiet relaxing holiday in a beautiful part of Turkey

Alaric's condo in Gazipaza

Val & Richard Rushden, Northants
Review Submitted: May 15, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2007
We stayed for 3 weeks in late September early October 2007, the weather was wonderful. For most of our stay we were the only ocupants in the complex and had the luxury of the superb pool all to ourselves.

The property was excellent for just two of us, but when our friends joined for one week a second bathroom would have been benefical. Property pehaps best suited for a family.

The beach opposite the complex was via 200 steps, but well worth the effort, for supper snorkling and seclusion.
The main beach is about 100 metres down the road and is also hardly used. The main reason being there are very few tourists in Gazipaza.

A car is essential as the main town and shops are too far to walk. The drive from Antalia athough 2 hours is very easy on flat dual carraigeway for most of the journey.

There was just one restauant within walking distance which was overlooking the main beach. We found the food simple but well presented of good quality and cheep.

The Blue Oasis in the town is very good and owned by an English man named Conrad whom we found very knowledgeable and helpful as he was one of the few English speaking people we came accross.

To see Turkey whithout the crowds this ideal, but if you want overcrowded beaches and souvenir shops, then visit Alania.

Gazipasa, a place to be

We really loved the apartment. It was above our expectations! Absolutely wonderful. So new, clean, spacey and comfortable. All the comforts one could ask for were present. The whole complex, especially the swimming pool we really enjoyed. The owner and caretaker provided us good customer service. It is a good starting point for sightseeing. You can choose between historical sites or beautiful nature. In Anamur we visited the castle and historic site. We love walking up small hills for the rewarding view. The hills near to the beach in Gazipasa, the center of Alanya and the hills behind Gazipasa gave us much pleasure. All in all we really had a wonderful time. We would certainly recommend the property.

Awesome holiday in Gazipassa, Turkey

Review Submitted: May 13, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2007
I don't know where to begin..we got fetched from the airport and dropped right at our front door and the following day got a guided tour around Gazipassa which was brilliant. The flat is beautiful, spacious and modern with everything you will possibly need. A large swimming pool and your very own private beach cove right there. We were pointed in the direction of many lovely restaurants and the food in Gazipassa is to die for the the service is great too. After a long day in the sun we use to come back to the flat and enjoy a relaxing jacuzzi and then settle down for dinner and a bit of tv. We hired a car and drove to Alanya which was only an hours drive and lots of touristy things to do there. I loved my stay at Gazipassa and would definitley go back. The people were so friendly there and you couldn't ask for more with the accommodation we were given. It was absolutely fabulous, I would recommend anyone to go there...you will have an absolute ball.

Absolutely Wonderful

Alarik & Jessica,
I would like to thank you both for everything!!! Your help with the rental car and airport pickup allowed me to be able to focus on the more important things, like making sure my passport arrived in time. When I got to the condo it was everything you had said and more! The town of Gazipasa was for me a perfect decision. It allowed me to really get away from it all and enjoy my stay. The condo was clean, well maintained and had everything I needed. I loved the view going down the steps to the hidden cove, as well as the view from the little restaurant on the water down the road. I will definitely be visiting Turkey again and using your facility if it is available in march of 2009.
As a side note I would like to thank you for everything, including your understanding about my passport issue - was it going to make it .. was it not .. It gave me peace of mind knowing I was dealing with honest people!
Thanks again for everything!!
