Relaxing experience in a beautiful location

BJN Madrid
Review Submitted: April 27, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
My family spent Semana Santa 2009 in this home. In total, we were four adults (two couples) and two small children. We were comfortable in every way -- the home is spacious, the garden with access to the sea is a luxury, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the furnishings are better than adequate.
We fished from the rocks, barbecued just about every day for lunch, took in the sun, and just relaxed in general. During the cloudy days, we visited the surrounding towns, or walked through a street market.
The owners provided us with a fantastic detailed information package which came in quite handy. Jill is extremely helpful, and takes care to make sure that her visitors enjoy their stay.
I would recommend this property for anyone looking to disconnect from hectic tourist centers and for those in need of some time to relax. This is a place to take in nature and the almost virgin seaside.
Owner's Response: Beverley, Thank you for your great comments, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay at our house and had such a relaxing time.

Amazing seafront views

We really enjoyed our stay at your holiday home, especially mealtime with spectacular views of the sea. It was also nice to have the cove so close on days we didn´t feel like driving to the beach. Plus the pool was an excellent alternative for our boys. We felt very welcome by the owners who were very accommodating and helpful. The nearby beaches are an excellent place for young children and they are the cleanest you will find on the eastern andalusian coast.

My Wife and I had a very nice time here. The House is very close to the sea, 30yds max, there is a very nice beach right infront, although rocky but about 200yds down to the right is a sandy beach. Very quite location which was great. I would not suggest going here without transport which was not a problem to us, but the nearest town is about 5KMs away.

There are some very nice towns near by, with great restaurants, shopping, views etc.

A truly wonderful property in a stunning location

Review Submitted: October 5, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
Having now stayed at this property on two occasions with my wife, I can highly recommend it to other travellers. the location of this spacious three bedroom property is second to none, the stunning views from the master bedroom as the sun rises will stay with you for a very long time.

The property boasts a sunroof terrace as well as a sea facing garden. The house is tastefully decorated with all the amenities you could want. There are wonderful restaurants within a 10 minute drive. I think a car is a necessity for this location, but one has to sacrifice something for the tranquility you will find at Casa Bella Mar.

The owners seem to have gone out of their way to make this property home from home, the well written description of the local area takes all the stress out of being in a new location.

We will certainly be returning in the not to distant future.

John & Kathy

Very quiet and scenic location, excellent villa!

Really nice villa set in a small enclave of houses and villas on a small beach, very quiet and secluded. Lots of very scenic beaches nearby that can be reached by car (some involving a very short stroll down). Great for snorkelling, you can do it right outside the house, off the rock pools. Very friendly owner (living in the UK) and extremely helpful neighbours. Recommended. Make sure you hire a car though, absolutely impossible without one.
Owner's Response: Thank you Ashkan for your kind review and comments. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay at our house.

Brilliant beachfront escape

Review Submitted: April 12, 2008 Date of Stay: March 2008
We never tired of the sunrises and the roar of the waves. It truly is an amazing position. So relaxing and the air couldn't be fresher.

We were lucky with great weather (having left Gatwick in snow on Easter Monday) and were able to eat outside on the terrace every night. We even had a BBQ one night. 15 mins away the Consum supermarket has an excellent fish counter so we bought heaps of langoustine. Also a fantastic selection of fruit and veg, a bakery and wide choice of wines too. We also bought bread off a guy who comes along the beach in his van every morning. Very civilised.

The house is really well equipped and a perfect bolthole, tucked away on a very quiet stretch of coast. The only bit of equipment I missed was a dishwasher but that's just being lazy. Great to hear about the solar heating as the pool was too cold to use.

We will definitely go back. Easyjet flights to Murcia are great value and it's a lovely, easy little airport. Jill's recommendation of carjet.com was spot on and we were pleased with the car.
Owner's Response: Christine & Ugur, Thank you for the great review. We are delighted you had such a good time and enjoyed yourselves. For repeat customers we give a discount so just get in touch when you are ready.

A PEACEFUL SETTING/MARCH 2008

Corinne and Phil Merseyside
Review Submitted: April 5, 2008 Date of Stay: March 2008
I'd rate my overall experience for this rental property as good.
This was the most 'chilled out' week we've had in a long time, the setting, views and weather were fantastic. The rocky beach in front of the house was great for fishing and crabbing and amused our boys no end, in fact they were out there at 8am whilst I sat and watched from the garden!
Only downside was the pool being very cold but in peak season it would be fine.
All in all a lovely home in a quiet area.
Owner's Response: Corinne, Phil and boys
Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We ar pleased you had a good time. Since your return the solar heating system has been fitted to the swimming pool and it is now up and running and will be used during winter, autum and spring months.

Location, Location, Location

Review Submitted: February 25, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2007
Stayed in August 2007 and loved the location and villa. You literally have to drive along the beach to get to it.
The villa is in excellent condition with great facilities and easy access to more busy resorts, if that is what you want.
We went in the hight of summer, so the shared pool (which sits behind the appartment) was great for the children as it was, at least partially, in the shade for all bar a couple of hours.
The neighbours are very friendly and helpful if you need any help or advice and there is a good community feel to the village.
There are good supermarkets close by and a waterpark 15 minutes down the road.
I would definetly recommend it.
Owner's Response: Dear Phil, Allision and Family, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at our house and we wish you an excellent holiday for this year.

Review Submitted: January 11, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2007
we had a great stay here oct 07, the property is well equipped, spotless, and very comfortable, lots of beaches to laze on or go cave spotting etc all good most with cantinas, the area is full of places to visit & explore along the coast or inland, certainly looking foreward to our next stay, also good typical spanish run restuarants serving good spanish meals, the locals were very freindly and helpfull, the bar along the beach is ideal to wind down and have a drink or with the locals, well done Ray & Jill for providing the ideal place for a holiday.
Owner's Response: Terry & Sally,
