Lovely stay

Very confortable and cool. Pretty Location. Nice quiet pool. And handy for Burriana and Town. Sky and internet a must for teenagers!
Owner's Response: Great that you had a nice break. Many of my guests appreciate being able to use the internet as it can be very expensive and time consuming going to internet cafes every day. Also being able to make free phone calls is an added bonus. The Sky satellite system allows people to keep in touch with world events.

A great holiday home

Review Submitted: September 22, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
We had a very good time and would recommend this property very highly. The townhouse was very well maintained and furnished. The landlords, who were in the area when we stayed there, were unfailingly pleasant and helpful, even giving us a lift to the bus station when we were leaving. The house is in a quiet residential area but is within easy walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants, etc. All in all, a very good holiday home in a very pleasant resort.

We (a family with three sons of 7, 9 and 11 years old) had a very pleasant stay in this holiday house. The house is not big but just big enough for a family. The location is perfect: a very quite area, only a few minutes walk from the beach and from the center of the town, parking space in front of the appartment. The house was clean and well maintained. Our kids very much enjoyed the swimming pool, while we stayed in the beautiful garden. The house has a wireless Internet connection. The owner was around all week and can help if anything is wrong, but is not disturbing you. All in all we would strongly recommend this house.
Owner's Response: Delighted that you enjoyed your stay. This week I have got new furniture for my living room - two recliner arm chairs and a large sofa bed which will further add to the comfort of my guests

Nerja townhouse

Review Submitted: March 11, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
This house was accurately described as being within a few minutes' walk of both the town and the beaches, and it is a pleasant two bedroomed house on a small development, with a sun terrace which is truly sunny and well equipped with table, chairs and sun loungers.

We were fortunate to have the owners on site during our visit, and they were most helpful, but unobtrusive, giving us information about local events taking place during our stay. There is also a file in the house giving plenty of information about the locality, including suggested routes for walking, and of course restaurants and bars.

The house was clean and well maintained, and milk, bread etc were in the kitchen when we arrived. There was always hot water.

We enjoyed walking into town for coffee, drinks, meals etc. There is a large selection of restaurants and bars, some of which enjoy fantastic views over the sea and the coast. We drove to Granada (about one and a half hours of spectacular mountain scenery) to see the Alhambra Palaces - wonderful.

The house is highly recommended, especially if you don't want to be driving out for shopping, meals etc. We visited in February, when the pool was not filled, but the weather, although warm and sunny most of the time, would not have been warm enough to tempt us into the water.

The booking process was uncomplicated, and the owners answered every query promptly and helpfully.

Great location in Nerja

Review Submitted: November 4, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2008
We visited this house in October 2008. It was just as described in the advert with no hidden surprises. The location was great having the beach in one direction and the old town in the other. This meant just a short walk to each. Although the house is not ultra modern it is very well maintained and clean. It is aslo stocked with all you need for a great holiday, including everything for a young child. The owner Joan was great from start to finish and I would recommend renting from her to all.
Owner's Response: Dave - Many thanks for taking the time to post a review. I am delighted that you and your family enjoyed your stay. My home is designed in typical Andalusian style so the furniture and fittings complement this style. Hope to see you all back sometime in the future - I give 50 euro discount to my regular guests. Kind regards, Joan

A Haven of Peace

Review Submitted: September 17, 2008 Date of Stay: April 2008
We rented the property for one week.

The property is beautiful, well maintained, well equipped and had everything we needed.

The balcony is great where you can relax in the sun with a good book (even they are supplied), or enjoy eating out on.

The gardens are kept in excellent condition, and
we felt secure there as the only means of access is through a gate which only the residents hold a key.

The town is very close, with great shops, restuarants and pubs.

The beach is only a few minutes away. There is plenty to do, including a visit to the donkey sanctuary, which is well worth a visit.

We would certainly recomend this property to families, couples, or groups, it is perfect for all.
Owner's Response: Margaret and Eamonn
Thank you for your lovely comments. I am very pleased that you really enjoyed your first trip to Nerja, which has a really Spanish flavour unlike a lot of resorts on the Spanish coasts. While being close to the beach, town, shops and restaurants, I think that your title heading "A haven of peace" best describes my holiday home. Hope to see you back next year.
Kind regards
Joan

A haven of peace

I stayed in this house with my elderly mother and sister: it was perfect for our needs, but would also be good for younger people who wanted more action. This is because it is perfectly positioned between the town and the 'trendy' beach. The town is a pleasant 15 minutes stroll, and there are plenty of convenient food shops and cafes nearby. We really liked the complex itself, with its beautiful and peaceful gardens. The pool and pool area are convenient for the house and never too busy or noisy.

The house was clean and well maintained, and contained everything we needed. The owner and her agent in Nerja could not be more pleasant and helpful.

We have already booked again for this coming summer!
Owner's Response: Chris - I'm really pleased that you all enjoyed your stay in my holiday home. I endeavour to keep it to the best possible standards, making it a home from home for all my guests. Many thanks for your repeat business.
Kind regards, Joan

Excellent Holiday Accommodation

BIG JOHN SWINDON, WILTSHIRE
Review Submitted: March 2, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2007
I have stayed in this house with 4 adults 60+ plus my son who is 28years old. We stayed in September for 2 weeks and my daughter, son-in-law and baby stayed in May 2007 and are again staying there in April 2008. The house has ample space, the kitchen fully equipped, a spacious living area with table and chairs and plenty of other seating. The bedrooms are very spacious also and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom excellent with a lovely walk-in shower. The terrace is a real sun trap and is lovely to eat out on morning, lunchtime and evening. The property was clean and well maintained. It was lovely to have a swimming pool with sun bathing facilities no need to go to the beach which is easily to walk too if you prefer, we went to the beach first during the day then came back for a lovely swim in the pool. The owners are extremely helpful nothing is too much trouble for them. My daughter asked for a cot for her child and they bought a brand new cot, high-chair and baby bath excellent. We intend using this house everytime we go to Nerja. It is in a quiet position but easy access walking to the town, restaurants and burriana beach.
Owner's Response: Many thanks for your kind words - glad that my attention to detail was appreciated by you and your family
