wonderful vacation home

Euro-traveler Orlando, Florida USA
Review Submitted: March 11, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
I cant even begin to say how nervous I was about renting a house online. Peter was great to work with and left me feeling at ease. The house was perfect. In town but just far enough out to make it feel like you were more at home. I honestly have no objections about our vacation or staying at this home. I was very impressed. I highly recommend it to others and if I ever have the pleasure of returning to England, I will definetly see if the house is available.
I also recommend going to the "Prince of Wales" pub down the street. We went there 3 out of the 5 days and we had a blast. We made fast friends with the bartenders there and they were so nice. The even bought us a "farewell" drink. And Tops Pizza across the street from the pub was amazing too. We would finish the pizza while walking back to the house and then turn around and go and order another one.
This was a wonderful vacation. I hope everyone who gets to go gets to enjoy what we did.

My teenagers want a flat like this!

Great flat - my teenagers loved it and we really enjoyed our champagne on the sunny roof terrace. The flat was very quirky and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay (tho it might be time to do a mini refurb to bring everything back up to the highest standard). Near the tube station so leave the car at home if at all possible. Had a nice visit to portobello market on Saturday morning - just a five minute walk away. Everyone was very helpful - even with our very late arrival.

Famous appartement for a perfect stay in London

Ute and family Germany
Review Submitted: September 14, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
Thank you for making possible a perfect stay in London. We enjoyed this very nice and tasteful flat very much. Our kids (10,13,15) particularly liked the penthouse and the hammock. We appreciated Rowan's help and attention. The welcome-champagne was great.
The tube is a few minutes away from the flat and you can find all things you need close to the appartement.

Great starting point for our adventure

M.T.K. Davis, CA
Review Submitted: June 26, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
This unique property was very close to transportation, so we were able to get around quite easily from there. We enjoyed the space in the apartment for our group of 5 to spread out and the hammock to relax in. Thank you Peter for a very nice holiday in London.

Note that this is not a good choice if you cannot navigate stairs well or have very small children as it is rather ship-like with different "decks" accessed by open stairs.

Perfect bay for London visitors

G-8 Gdansk, Poland
Review Submitted: June 14, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
We were 4 couples focused on visiting London. The location of the apartment is perfect: bus stop and tube station are nearby.
The apartment is clean, light, well equipped. It has an additional virtue: nice, open view over the canal, what is not common in London.
I also recommend Peter as fair partner. I have never hired a flat from the guy with such poetical skills. Check it!

Wonderful apartment

Hanne with friends Oslo, Norway
Review Submitted: May 25, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
We were 8 friends visiting from Norway, and we were a little worried that it would be crowded. But we all slept comfortably. The apartment was wonderful, light and spacious, clean and a little crazy. The tube was just around the corner, we found all the things we needed in the nearby shops, and I recomend a visit to the local pub!
Peter is very easy to work with.

I recomend this apartment to all visiters that is looking for a little extra!
Owner's Response: 'Crazy' ! Yes, Hanne, we have to admit that one or two of our wall murals are judged by some to be a touch eccentric - but we hope like seemingly all others, you enjoyed them too ! We hope to see you and your friends again next year.

Very nice appartment to visit London

Review Submitted: March 13, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
I spent one week in this triplex with my familly and my friends. We highly appreciated the architecture and we all really enjoy our stay here ( quiet bedrooms with very large beds and each ones with bathroom and TV ). Spacious living-room with incredible floating bed. This appartment has all needed equipments . This is definitively a very good adress to visit London and I highly recommand it. We really feel "chez nous" .
Thanks a lot to Peter for this !

A fantastically clean and sunlit property that lives up to the website hype. The accomodation made for one of those holidays that make for fantastic memories for many years to come.
The range of shops at the end of the road will provide for all your multi ethnic catering needs without the hassle of Brixton or Brick Lane market. The locals will give you a good flavour of real Londoners...

SIMPLY FANTASTIC !

Jenny Santon Vancouver, BC, Canada
Review Submitted: December 7, 2008 Date of Stay: November 2008
As the ad says, this is a really is an 'extraordinary' home. Extraordinarily original and witty, but also extraordinary comfortable. Neither us nor our children can stop talking about our wonderful experience at Peter and Patricia's amazing home - likewise our London friends who we had to invite round - who were so jealous ! Our only regret is that we didn't take enough pictures, which is another reason why we are already seriously planning our next trip !
